Locatie, pal in het centrum. Mooi en ruim appartement. Foto’s zijn waarheidsgetrouw. Goed verduisterende gordijnen. Snelle communicatie met de host.

Is op zich geen minpunt maar misschien wel een aandachtspunt voor als je met een baby bent: de lift is heel klein en te openen met aparte luikjes. Een kinderwagen past hier enkel in met duwen en stoten. Als de baby ligt te slapen is hij gegarandeerd wakker.

Très bel appartement situé en plein centre d’ortigia. Très propre et spacieux, idéal pour visiter, tout peut être fait à pied. Arrivée autonome par digicode et très bonne réactivité et communication pour l’arrivée et départ. Allez y sans hésiter!

The air conditioning made loud noises all throughout my stay. The host however has said that it will be fixed so hopefully not an issue for future visitors.

L'emplacement est parfait proche des restaurants, du port, des petites rues animées.

A préciser que le logement est en zone ZTL, et que l'hôte a la possibilité de donner l'immatriculation de la voiture à la police, afin de pouvoir s'arrêter devant le logement en voiture pour déposer les bagages. Ensuite il faut aller se garer dans le grand parking.

It was in a prime location and felt very large for a European hotel.

Très bon emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville. Les informations transmises en amont nous ont bien permis de profiter du séjour sans problème. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Supremely comfortable, immaculately clean, and a fantastic location.

There was very little not to like. I would’ve appreciated an extra garbage bag for the recycle bin and an extra roll of toilet paper, but neither issues were insurmountable.

Very centrally located in Ortigia near Piazza Del Duomo. Elevator was a welcome benefit. Very modern room- spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Company was communicative and responded promptly - excellent value for the stay.

The appartment had a strange smell to it. Almost like a sewer smell which I could see was covered by aromatic cleaning products. Would dissipate once the windows were opened …

Looked great but was very tired and poorly maintained, broken and damaged pans, cupboard doors not closing and catching on other cupboards, hole in the wall by the front door, hot water ran brown at times and basin kept blocking. Although the exterior and interior of the apartment looked good from a distance, it was poor close up. The rest of the building is in poor repair with a very old and precarious lift.

Comfortable bed, easy check-in, spacious room, the elevator, sound-dampening windows, rainfall shower, very responsive hosts. We’d definitely stay here again.

A few small things: a shampoo dispenser would be nice, plus a couple of extra shower towels for longer stays and more than two rolls of toilet paper. Hair dryer was not working.

Meget central beliggenhed på Ortigia. Ned med elevatoren, og du står midt i livet på øen med et hav af kulturelle oplevelser rundt om hvert hjørne og skønne restauranter overalt. Min datter har en veninde der kommer fra øen, og hun havde spurgt hende, hvor man spiste bedst på øen. Svaret: Everywhere! Vi havde et problem med det kolde vand, men overnatningsstedet reagerede prompte på en meget generøs måde, så vi kan kun sige, at det hele var TOP.

Die Appartments von Matteotti Residence bieten einen hohen Standard, eine sehr gute Lage in der Stadt sowie guten Service und sind uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Die Wohnungen befinden sich im 3. Stock eines schönen und großen, repräsentativen Wohn- und Geschäftsbaus aus den 1930er Jahren. Der Corso Matteotti ist der einzige moderne Boulevard in Ortigia und führt vom Apollon-Tempel hinauf auf den Archimedes-Platz und damit ins Zentrum der Halbinsel. Die Lage der Appartments ist dementsprechend exzellent. Man ist umgeben von modernen wie auch traditionellen Geschäften. 2 gute Kaffee-Bars und auch ein kleiner Supermarkt sind im Umkreis von 50 m. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Alle Orte auf der Halbinsel sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Wohnungen sind gut gestaltet, sowie konsistent und komplett eingerichtet und haben viel natürliches Licht. Es gibt ausreichend Balkone, viele davon mit einem schönen Blick nach Osten auf das offene Meer mit entsprechender Morgensonne. Das Bett war gut und gemütlich, das Bad gut designt und sehr angenehm. Es gibt eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler und alles, was man auch für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt benötigt. Da es sich um ein Gebäude aus 1930 handelt, sind Stiegenhaus und Aufzug entsprechend historisch. Man kommt mit Code praktisch ins Haus und in die Wohnung, wo man einen Schlüssel vorfindet. Das Team von Sud-Est agiert seriös und professionell und ist gut zu erreichen. Der digitale Stadtführer in der Wohnung ist gut, die Lokaltipps z.B. waren allesamt exzellent. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Great central location and easy to access. Good to have a lift for luggage etc. Lovely spacious contemporary accommodation. Great noise reducing windows so quiet even though on busy street. Although public car park was 10 minute walk away it was great to be able to drive into the central zone to drop off and collect luggage. Straight forward instructions/communication for self check in etc.

A little sparse in furnishings -maybe some more pictures, lamps. The kitchen window could have a blackout blind as light poured into the whole room from the early hours. Bathroom extractor was noisy and seemed to be on most nights, so had to close both doors to reduce noise whilst sleeping

Im Apartment 4 sind die Matratzen durchgelegen. Luxery ? Die Armaturen im Bad sind aus einfachen Material, daher sind die angerostet. Die Ausstattungsbeschreibung muss angepasst werden. Ich bin mit Handgepäck unterwegs und suche extra nach Apartments die Hausschuhe und kostenlose Pflegeprodukte anbieten. Hier haben die in den Ausstattungsmerkmalen genannten Hausschuhe sowie Pflegeprodukte gefehlt. Es gab nur Duschgel und Handseife. Kein Shampoo, conditioner und Bodylotion. Ich hoffe, das Problem mit dem warmen Wasser hat sich zwischenzeitlich aufgelöst. Hierfür kann der Vermieter nichts, aber es ist trotzdem ärgerlich.

We had a great time at this residence. The room was very spacious and clean. The location was superb. Check in was smooth and efficient despite the lack of a reception. Entrance is a little old in comparison to the room but we had no problems as it was easy to get in and out.

From the day of our arrival, there was unfortunately a problem with the boiler so we had no hot water. The customer service was great though as Marco (Sudest Homes) was very apologetic and we are due to receive a partial refund. In general, he was very responsive, helpful and polite on WhatsApp to any queries. One thing we would like to recommend is to add a full length mirror in the rooms. As we were two women, this would have been particularly appreciated. Overall, aside from the hot water, we enjoyed our time here.

This was a good location for walking to sites, restaurants and shopping. The unit was clean and had most of the amenities we were looking for.

When we arrived the pass code to get into the unit did not work. We had to contact the office to get someone to locate keys. Turns out the battery was dead and it was replaced the next day. It was just a bit of a hassle after a long day of travel. The following are just suggestions to make the guest stay better. There needs to be coat hooks or some place to hang jackets and bags especially when they are wet. The TV should have been in the living area rather than the bedroom. There was no english news channel. Someone said they would come and fix it for us but it never worked out. There were only 5 hangers. 5 is not enough for 2 people. The closet rail is set too high for short people. There was no mop or broom to clean up the floor or any spills and very little counter space for food prep etc.. The safe is tiny and not laptop compatible - this should be noted for guests ahead of time. There should be instructions for working the stove. It's different from other countries and we had to check on line to find instructions for using it.

We didn't have daily maid service, so a brush and dustpan would have been good. Please consider a mirror in the main room too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was easy to find, everything was clear and well organized from the beginning 👍. The location is very convenient — almost in the city center, making it easy to explore Syracuse on foot 🚶‍♀️✨. The apartment was very comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the small kitchen had everything needed to prepare breakfast 🍳☕. We especially liked having two balconies — one facing the sunnier southern side ☀️ and the other on the cooler northern side 🌬️, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything felt very comfortable and pleasant, and we honestly cannot say anything bad about this place 💙.

Honestly, we didn’t notice any significant downsides during our stay.

Lorsque nous arrivons, nous sommes un peu surpris par la cage d'escalier et l'ascenseur plutôt vétuste, mais lorsque nous atteignons le couloir où se situe l'appartement tout change : C'est refait à neuf et avec goût Il serait bien qu'il y ait un balai, et une raclette pour pouvoir nettoyer la douche

Breakfast was not included. Coffee in the machine could be better. But it is not a fundamental detail compared to the beauty and comfort of the place. Location is excellent!

A minha reserva foi cancelada e nao foi dado um alerta, apenas um email no Booking.... O que convenhamos nao é muito qdo um cliente esta no meio de uma longa viagem. Eles tinham o meu email, e meu telefone. Poderiam ter usado outro meio para se comunicarem, varios hoteis fizeram isso. Foi horrivel chegar em Siracusa as 11 horas da noite e nao ter onde ficar.

La ubicación es fantástica! El departamento es muy lindo: amplio, luminoso y confortable. Encontramos todo muy limpio, la cama muy cómoda y el baño súper espacioso. Tiene varios balcones y siendo que daba a la calle no es para nada ruidoso. Nos dejaron cápsulas de café y el self check in fue muy sencillo. Volveremos!!!

Het is een niet heel erg persoonlijke ruimte. En ik zou zaken als toiletpapier, vaatwastabletten in overvloed er neerleggen. Dat maakt het meer luxe en zou het ten goede komen.

It is in pretty run down block of flats with ancient lift. Check in done automatically- no person to speak to. Lack of basic cooking ingredients- no salt,pepper, oil etc.
