O restaurante é delicioso, e o pequeno-almoço também. Sem dúvida o plus em termos gastronómicos. A arquitetura é linda. A piscina é ótima e fresca.
Friendly, helpful staff. Amazing and unique Lobby we loved to swim the pool!
The steps up to the patio in the garden suite was a little wobbly
el diseño, y el restaurante !!!
El internet funcionaba muy muy mal. Por lo demás todo okay
Design
Amazing architecture. Staff were lovely and friendly, enjoyed having chats with the guy on the door! The welcome drink was a nice touch. The breakfasts were great but do try to get a reservation for dinner - it was exceptional. Good location, about a ten min walk from the main beach.
The design of the place definitely prioritises style over comfort. The rooms are comfortable enough but sound echoes around the entire hotel like no other hotel I’ve been to. The music from the lobby, the restaurant, even the guests in the other rooms can all be heard in great great detail, if you catch my drift…. The pool is never really used because it’s inside and a bit chilly. It’s also in the lobby. Nice to perch by it for a bit though. You can’t really get hot water at all unless in the afternoon as it is all powered by solar - obviously most people want a warm shower in the morning so that was a bit annoying, especially given how much this place costs to stay. This probably explains why the pool is so cold too, now I think of it. We stayed in a room with an outdoor bath but it had a drainy smell which put us off from being out there. Overall I think it is a bit overpriced given these drawbacks, but it was very cool to look at.
Architecture, design, food, central yet setback location, staff. All round vibe that felt comfortable yet elevated.
A little noisy in the rooms.
The architecture and design of Casa To are exceptional. The layout, materials, and overall atmosphere feel carefully curated and truly unique. The restaurant also stands out for the quality and flavor of the food, both at breakfast and at dinner. We also appreciated that the staff accommodated a slightly late checkout.
Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Guests with breakfast included receive much smaller portions than non hotel guests sitting next to them, even though the bill later shows full priced portions and is used for tipping. This creates a clear sense of unfairness and was handled in a way that felt misleading when we raised it. The breakfast offering is also very rigid, with only filtered coffee included and paid coffee only available downstairs from 9 am. Basic comfort was lacking. From the afternoon onward the water was lukewarm to cold, making a warm evening shower impossible. The outdoor bathtubs also only have cold water. The pool is ice cold and always in the shade, so it is not inviting to use. In both rooms the safes did not work, and in one case there was not even a key. Some bathroom amenities such as conditioner and hand soap also appeared watered down, which feels out of place for a hotel of this category.

Front staff weren’t friendly. They just didn’t even have a smile to greet us.
La arquitectura
La gestión de las propinas
Sehr gutes Frühstück
Impresionantemente delicioso
It's beautiful hotel with lovely architecture, the linens and bed were wonderful and the location is great to move around Punta Zicatela. The staff were super helpful and had several services like helping us rent a scooter, beach towels and recommendations. Glou Glou the restaurant above is great both for dinner and breakfast.
They did not provide bathrobes which would have been great and the rooms are a little cramped. In the afternoons if you want to rest from the room we were in you can hear the music in the lobby and the hotel which is not great and the stairs to reach the balcony behind the room are quite uncomfortable. They provided coffee in the room which was lovely but no creamer.
The architecture says it all. It is like staying in a piece of art. Everywhere you look is inspiring. The facilities and location are great, and the food amazing. The staff is cool too.
I would suggest having a hairdryer in the rooms. And lowering the music during the day, sometimes it can be a bit too loud if you are in the rooms.
I absolutely loved the architecture of the hotel! The room with the private courtyard is beautiful and really confortable. The lounge and pool areas are stunning, nicely decorated and with a lot of beautiful plants. The breakfast was really good. I will come back!!
L’architecture
Pas trop confortable. Trop bruyant.
A real treat with a very cool vibe. Great breakfast, really helpful staff and lovely room. Loved hanging out by the pool.
Nothing 😃
I liked the pool, and the area where this is located.
Hospitalidad
The staff and the facilities
Food was awesome, except for the coffee It was awful all the times
Excelente atención, lugar increíble y la comida deliciosa
Amazing architecture - stunning hotel. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The food was incredible for dinner and breakfast.
It wasn’t the most comfortable to sit by the pool and you feel quite on show as it’s part of the hotel lobby.
Incredible experience. Really interesting architecture. Comfortable pool and lounging. Friendly staff. Great drinks and even better food.
The music in the lounge area was a bit loud.
Well maintained and super pleasant and friendly staff Helped arrange all activities and transport
This was a very unique and chic experience, unlike any other!
Beautiful layout and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Staff were polite and helpful, security also very good
Once the sun sets the walk back to hotel from beach area is pitch black Also as the restaurant is closed on Wednesday it means guests can’t order wine which feels like something that could easily be rectified for guests looking to have that No storage at all in the rooms
It's a unique and beautiful boutique hotel.
Casa To is a cute little architectural gem located close to the beach in Zicatela. The staff are so so friendly and always helpful with recommendations, to book things, or really anything you need. The restaurant onsite - Glou Glou - is also wonderful and the breakfast they provide is delicious.
We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were abundantly kind and attentive. The food was extraordinary. And the hotel was gorgeous. We’re somewhat used to larger rooms—larger suites, so our room took some getting used to. But overall, our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay at Casa TO again.
Only the room size.
The staff, pool at the hotel, and restaurant were great!
The bed was super uncomfortable, and the mattress was way too soft. The AC was old and installed directly across the bed, so it blew in your face all night - stupid design. They also don't have hot water which is absolutely unacceptable and they don't include this information anywhere. Not worth the $500, not even close
Very good Breakfast
We had the most relaxing stay at Casa To. We were there 5 nights and did not want for nothing. The main area with the pool is relaxing and quiet and the honor bar is a nice touch. Great cocktails with our late night swim :). We liked it was not on the beach, an oasis to return to when the beach was too much. Easy walk down to the main bit. Staff were helpful when booking car rental and concierge available throughout the day which was helpful. Our terrace with outdoor tub was quiet and secluded where we enjoyed a bottle of wine from Glou Glou on our last night. Glou Glou was a lovely treat. I would book in advance when you book the room as it was very busy when we were there.
It's a small thing but the hot water was a little scarce. Best time to shower was between 4-6pm after the solar panels have warmed up otherwise you have to run the shower for like a long while before you get any warm water (not good for the oaxaca drought!) When booking your room, check for tables at the restaurant Glou Glou as they don't reserve tables for those staying in the hotel and it seems very busy.
The staff was super kind! Welcomed with cool wet towels and a refreshing drink was such a nice touch. Being able to text the receptionist at any time for accommodations was very convenient.
No complaints for the property or staff itself. A heads up of the walk back from the beach being very dark would be nice in the description but it felt super safe regardless just caught us off guard.
We loved everything about this hotel! The architecture, the lovely staff (including restaurant, cleaning, bar, reception and also security), the rooms, the restaurant, the small lovely gestures (we stayed at the pool one day and got surprised with fresh juices and ice cream), the music, the smell… The breakfast is amazing and the food we had at Glou Glou was absolutely sensational. We also loved that it‘s a bit off the beaten path from busy La Punta but still only a 7-10mins walk to the beach.
Actually nothing! The noise level is a bit higher until 11pm and from 8:30am, due to the restaurant being located in the hotel, but just sth to be aware of and nothing that really bothered us.
The restaurant is the best
We loved everything! Casa TO is the best hotel we've ever stayed at, hands down, and we can't wait to come back. From the design, to the food, to the vibe, to the staff - everything was perfect from first to last! You arrive up a quiet road into an absolute oasis. There are so many delightful little touches, from the welcome drinks, to the beautiful scents, to the plants creeping over all the walls. For design lovers, the space is an absolute dream. The bedroom we had was also exceptional, from the huge bed, to convenient layout, to the huge window out onto the balcony. It was also all very clean. The staff/concierge cannot do enough to help out and make your stay special, but they are also very relaxed and unobtrusive. There's nothing stuffy or pretentious about the place, which helped to make our trip super relaxing. The breakfast also deserves a special mention - firstly for the gorgeous setting, but moreover for the fact that everything we ate was heavenly! The best French toast and the best cheese toasties we've ever eaten - no exaggeration. All the cocktails we had at the bar were also delicious, and quite reasonably priced, too. We would truly recommend Casa TO to anyone, and can't wait to come back.
This is a new boutique 9 room hotel that has been written up in several architecture magazines. It is pretty striking- using sharp edged concrete everywhere with a dramatic circle theme in the lobby with its pool and sitting areas. The architecture is why we booked here. The restaurant food is excellent, however, we were insulted because the included breakfast only offered lesser breakfast fare compared with the rest of the menu. For the very high price to stay here, you weren't allowed bacon unless you paid. Come on....but you had to pay a gratuity on your 'free' breakfast. Dinner was high priced but worth it. The room is brutalist cave design, and it's cool, but there are flaws. Only luke warm water due to 'sun boilers', you stub you toe on all the concrete, there are 3 very sharp steps up to the toilet in its separate closet - not convenient in the middle of the night. No inside chair or desk, no tv, open concrete shower where water splashes out. Cool private outside patio but there are even higher concrete steps with wood 1/2 steps, to reach it. The mosquito folding screen does not have a tight fit. Functionally, the room comforts could be better. If you want a boutique modern vibe, swimming in the lobby-again cool, no tv, great but expensive food, this is the place. The road is abominable.
Simple yet elegant, with all the amenities one needs to enjoy a vacation
Most of the staff was very freindly and accomodating, but there were a few that felt like they couldn't care less about helping or assisting and could barely muster a smile when you passed them. The breakfast was great and you can tell the chef and his staff are super dedicated to food and extremely well trained. We didn't have any other meals there, but everything was prepared prefectly and with great care!
I've been to all parts of Mexico for years and years, both fancy and rough and am comfortable with all. This hotel however is being sold as a luxury hotel and the location, while only a 10 min walk or so to the beach felt like it was plopped in the middle of a pretty rough residential area many blocks behind the main strip. Trash everywhere, crazy unkept dirt roads, families that clearly seemed bugged by the influx of tourists on their home street. Something didn't sit right when you walked by all of that to finally arrive at this hipster "oasis" that didn't even seem to ackowledge it. I also understand that the area (La Punta) is a bit more party focused and we are a bit older (early 40's) but the hotel had no sound barriers so everything was heard pretty loudly (lobby, other rooms, people partying on the street till 2am). I think if the main sliding doors were glass and not shutters it would help a lot. Also with the misquitos. The pool looks beauitful but is more for instagram than a practical pool you'd want to spend time at. It's literatally 3 feet from the front chek-in desk and lobby chairs so you are all in the same very tight space and it doesn't feel relaxing. Again, we were likely the wrong demographic. Overall everything "looks" cool but in practice wasn't thought through and felt a bit gimmicky for the price. I think if you were in your 20's and wanted to party and be seen it might be great though!
It’s very hidden and nice place to relax and enjoy your company
*design of the place... wow *best hospitality I felt like a royalty *they provided the most comfortable dog bed my dog has slept in *breakfast is beyond amazing *staffs so responsive and help with every need possible and reply in a second
wifi is ok no hot water???
Amazing property, great staff, onsite restaurant is top notch!!!
Stunning accommodation. Very peaceful, kind staff and delicious breakfast
My partner and I stayed at Casa TO for five nights and every moment was fantastic. From the moment we parked our rental outside the hotel, their staff was there to assist with anything we needed. The breakfast included is Michelin star quality, which was a very welcome surprise. Highly recommend eating there for dinner as well! Our rooms were comfortable and just spacious enough. I love the added touch of providing candles for the room, which is very nice in the evening. The pool is a cold plunge pool, which is so nice after a hot day on the beach. The lobby and pool area are great places to relax, read a book, journal, as this area remains very peaceful, calm, and spa like which we enjoyed. The front reception were kind and met all of our needs and questions! I even needed to work on virtual calls for two days of my stay and the internet connection was great. No notes or negative feedback! You will surely enjoy your time here.
The pool was amazing and service was great.

Would highly recommend Casa To! Booked a trip for my wife’s 30th and they accommodated everything and made it a really memorable trip. Gabi at the front desk was especially amazing, and provided excellent recommendations and made us both feel right at home. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel that’s really unique and peaceful. The breakfast and restaurant is also great! Only minor point (not the fault of the hotel and more surrounding area around it) whilst the walk to the beach is close by ~10min, the roads are not the best especially if walking at night, but it’s also easy enough to get taxis back if needed. Would still definitely recommend, and definitely come back!
beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and spectacular breakfast. i always looked forward to coming back to the hotel for an afternoon swim in the pool with a cocktail.
wifi didnt work well from our room
The property was amazing beautiful! The architecture was unique. The customer service was very great!
For starters, the WiFi in the actual room we stayed in was terrible. Borderline it didn’t work. The location of this hotel is literally in jungle, and for the price one pays to stay there, WiFi should be a top priority in term of usability. The restaurant in the hotel was somewhat decent. It had a very basic menu, and the service wasn’t up to par like the hotel. There are animals in the rooms, unfortunately. We found a tarantula on our bed, and had to get help to remove it. There should be some safeguards for these type of animals. Lastly, the mini jacuzzi we paid extra for in our room did not work properly because the water continued draining out rather quickly. That should be fixed given people pay extra to use it.
Excelente
Love everything about the place! The food was incredible the pool and rooms
I would say the walk to the property wasn’t the best. The roads and area looked a bit rundown
Incredible beautiful place, friendly and helpful stuff. I recommend to everyone

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
8.8/10Visual presentation and public areas are well kept; minor issues noted (drainy smell in an outdoor bath and debris around the access road) but overall clean for this hotel tier.
Service
9.6/10Staff are repeatedly described as lovely, friendly and attentive (welcome drink, helpful door staff); a single reception staff member and one instance of manager absence were noted as negatives.
Location
8.8/10About a 10-minute walk to the main beach and pleasantly private/setback; however not on a main avenue and access involves dirt roads and some debris, which reduces convenience.
Room Quality
8/10Rooms are comfortable and private and architecturally interesting, but the design prioritises style over comfort in places: strong echo/noise between areas, limited hot water in mornings, and an outdoor bath with a drainy smell reported.
Amenities
8/10Interesting shared amenities (lobby pool, design features) and good dining options, but the indoor pool is chilly and solar-powered hot water limits morning showers—reducing usability for some guests.
Value for Money
8.8/10Many guests find the property pricey given the practical limitations (noise, access, hot water), though several feel the unique design and dining experiences justify the cost for a special stay.
Food and Beverage
9.6/10Consistently praised: breakfasts described as great and the on-site restaurant (Glou Glou) and dinner experience repeatedly called exceptional.
Overall Experience
8.8/10A visually stunning, memorable hotel that many recommend as a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience; overall positive but tempered by noise, occasional staff/management issues, limited hot water and tricky access.
