Punta Nayaá - Adults Only

Beautiful, thoughtfully designed rooms with comfortable beds, a lovely private plunge pool, excellent hot showers, and a delicious breakfast served in the room. It was the perfect place to relax after a few weeks of rustic beach living, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay.

For the price, I expected a more proactive concierge experience and a stronger sense of hospitality. The rooms also face the trees rather than taking full advantage of the ocean views, which feels like a missed opportunity. Overall, a very nice stay, but one that falls just short of feeling truly exceptional.

El menu de desayuno, es muy limitado a mi parecer y los adicionales se me hicieron costoso. Recomendaría tener un menu mas variado con desayuno americano y otros platos mas simples. Ahora el de almuerzo WOW! Espectacular ese lo pediria de nuevo.

The whole place is beautiful, well kept, comfortable and private. Staff is attentive, and friendly. They really are on it with the WhatsApp responses and offer plenty of things to do. The plus is the scooter rentals which makes it easy to get around town but to the hotel.

What we didn't like is the location. It is very hard to get to by car or scooter since it's located up on a hill, on a dirt road, in a dead end street. Only way in and out. We also didn't like the food. They really need to work in the quality of the food. We had breakfast on our arrival there and it was mediocre. Firstly it took a while for our breakfast to arrive and they were fairly simple plates to make. Breakfast was included with our stay but we didn't eat there because of how lacking our first breakfast was. Juice House right down the hill is where it's at.

The property is immaculate, super stylish, staff are super accommodating. We came for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make our experience seamless.

It’s super hard to say anything was bad.. the only thing we could think of was not having a full length mirror.

I loved how comfortable the rooms are, spacious, bathroom and shower so nice and the balcony hammock and small pool were great. Having AC was also a plus!

There was bit of noise from dogs barking outside but they provide earplugs and that helps

The main bedroom is spacious, the other are facing constructions and are very dark.

The place is surrounded by constructions that just started (Dec 25). We were not told so, supposedly because they just started although they started before our booking. There are construction noise from 6h45am until probably 7pm, maybe more. Constant cut of electricity (which doesn’t happen that much here I’ve been coming for years). There are also dogs on leashes all around the property barking all day and all night which is very sad to know and stressful to hear. You can hear your neighbors, you can hear the various bars around blasting music. If you like calm days and quiet nights, do not come here.

Unfortunately there was building work right outside the hotel, whilst we were told this only started at 9am, we were woken up by the noise at 7am. Continental breakfast was limited but plenty of restaurants/cafes serving breakfast within walking distance.

Absolutely beautiful hotel- gorgeous lobby, delicious breakfast, lovely rooms, and incredibly helpful and kind staff. I loved the decision of the hotel and the rooms and would have happily stayed here longer than the 4 nights I booked! The staff went truly above and beyond to help us with recommendations, transportation, etc. I truly can’t wait to return!

The location is slightly out of the way from the main commercial area, which is nice in terms of noise but if you have mobility issues this hotel might not be the best fit as you have to journey on some dirt roads to access

Beautiful property, very clean and peaceful. I saw complaints about the walk to the town, but I didn’t mind it. It’s only a short 10min walk and felt very safe. Staff were helpful work booking taxis.

The inclusive breakfast is really lacking. I think if you’re going to serve such a limited/ never option it’s almost better not to offer inclusive breakfast. We were also told we could order via WhatsApp but would sometimes take around an hour from the first message to be answered.

1) Comfortable rooms 2) Design and atmosphere of the pool and breakfast area 3) Design of the hotel 4) Any issues that we raised were addressed quickly 5) Communication with hotel staff via whatsapp was very handy and made check in and check out super easy

1) Cleanliness - The hotel needs to be cleaner. There were very obvious stains on the bed’s top sheet and pillow when we arrived. There were also stains all over the pool seating and the rugs and these were present for our entire 4 day stay indicating that they were not cleaned over this time. The pool had algae stains around its edges. 2) Maintenance of facilities - we could see that there were workmen in the hotel patching up certain areas of render, but overall, the hotel is looking dishevelled. Render is cracking and flecking off in a lot of areas, there were stains on the floors and a light switch face plate came off in our room when touched which exposed live wires. Hot water in the shower was inconsistent, and the irrigation tap for the plants in the bathroom burst on our final day spraying the bathroom. We switched it off and informed the staff. 3) Noise - Not sure what can be done about this but noise travels really easily from floor to floor and room to room. We could hear the staff setting up for breakfast and speaking below us whilst in bed and got woken up when other guests came back to the hotel late at night. There’s also a lot of construction noise directly outside, dogs barking, cockerels cawing at all hours of the day. This was compounded by the bathroom being semi-outdoors with no glazing to acoustically buffer.

The villa was brilliant. Extremely spacious for three adults, with a very large communal area and great plunge pool.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like, but getting to and from Puerto Escondido at night either required a walk/hop through an untended garden, or a walk through a very dark street. It only took minutes to get to restaurants and bars, but the final section wasn’t my favourite.

El hotel el precioso, las habitaciones son espectaculares y el servicio fue excelente.

La ubicación está un poco a desmano. La playa queda a 10-15 minutos, así como la zona para ir a comer/cenar y el camino es horrible. El desayuno incluido está correcto, quizás un poco escaso, y no puedes elegir el tipo de café (te cobran a parte si quieres uno diferente). Por último, el wifi en las habitaciones no va bien.

La atención de Oscar, Diana, Alezar, Vivi y del guardia de seguridad, fue sencillamente espectacular, realmente se preocupan porque tu estancia sea inmejorable. Que gran hotel, las habitaciones y las instalaciones en general. Hay que mejorar una pequeñas cosas, pero es sencillamente uno de los mejores hoteles de los que he estado en Booking.

La ubicación es muy compleja, un día llovió y fue literalmente caminar en el barro. Que no haya opciones de comida en el hotel por la noche, porque el día que llovió no había posibilidad de comer nada. Deben aclarar que el desayuno que viene con él precio es continental, sin huevos.

Me encanto el hotel. Solo que esta un poco difícil para llegar y las calles están en muy mal estado, pero eso no es culpa del hotel. Volvería sin pensarlo porque el hotel esta hermoso. El personal muy amable y siempre atentos. Espero volver pronto

En general el hotel está muy cómodo, pocas habitaciones con buen diseño y bien ubicado. La limpieza es buena y el personal súper atento. El restaurante fue lo que nos decepcionó un poco, pocas opciones y precios elevados. La calle principal de punta Zicatela queda a 10 minutos caminando entonces está muy práctico, pero a la vez se siente privacidad.

Un hotel muy bonito… personal muy amable… sin embargo la conexión de internet es fatal en la habitación donde estuve y en el coworking… únicamente funciona bien en el lobby… espero lo puedan arreglar

El servicio fue excelente desde la reservación estuvieron en comunicación, todo lo que se necesitaba estaba el personal muy atento , en especial Frank , sin duda regresaría por más días , solo como área de oportunidad estaría ideal que tuvieran servicio gratuito de traslado al área de restaurantes ya que las calles están difícil de transitarlas caminando , pero en general servicio , costo , instalaciones y la alberca de 100%. Mi acompañante olvidó su bolsa en una de las áreas comunes y regresamos varias horas después a buscarla y ahí se encontraba , todo muy seguro . Lo recomiendo ampliamente

The room was massive, clean and beautiful. Giant Tv screen as well :) only a short walk from the beach. Super relaxing, and great staff.

The only comment was that the food could have been better.

The best service I’ve ever had in a hotel - anywhere. My husband and I arrived sick - they literally walked us to our room, called doctors, brought us water and bread (the only thing we could keep down), and frequently checked on us. We healed quickly with their help. Another plus - individually controlled AC. We were able to have a very cold room to heal and relax in. Also get the rooftop massages, book in advance.

Beautiful property! We loved the room, the staff, the quiet, the view of the ocean from our terrace, and the swimming pool in the lobby was nice to cool off in during the midday heat. The staff was so helpful and kind. They allowed us to park our car right outside the entrance and even connected us with a local scooter rental which made it easier to get around the small roads. The room was beautiful, quiet, spacious, and comfortable with the a/c at nights. Hotel is on a dirt road set back from all the action, but still close by. Cute baby chickens running around and liked hearing the rooster in the morning. Felt like a nice reset for us, coming from nyc. Thank you for a great experience!

The Staff were absolutely incredible and our holiday would not have been half as good had it not been for them. They were SO kind, helpful and accommodating in every possible way, from the waiters, to the reception staff to the cleaners and to the security guard. We are very grateful to them. Our room was beautiful and very relaxing as is the hotel in general.

There was a lot of noise in and outside of the hotel. This was mainly due to traffic such as cars, trucks, quadbikes, motorcycles, taxis etc. There were also some loud, inconsiderate or drunken guests inside the hotel during part of our stay.

great stay. probably could have lounged in the hotel for the entire visit and be happy. the space is beautiful, well-appointed and spacious. our welcome drink - the ginger nayaa - was one of the best cocktails i've ever had. we ate at the restaurant for three meals over the course of a two-night stay, and the food was delicious and fresh each time. it's about a ten minute walk from the beach, which was fine for us. the main strip in escondido can get kind of loud and racous, which is not the vibe we wanted that weekend, so distance to that was nice. the road to the hotel is largely is unpaved, which again, is fine. we're in mexico, and kind of fits with the 'one-with-nature' vibes of the hotel. while i felt safe the entire time (with a partner), i could understand why the unpaved road and inconsistent street lighting may not be appealing to a solo traveler as noted in previous reviews. overall, i would definitely stay here again! looking forward to it.

Bello el lugar. La mejor parte de la estadía fue Punta Nayaa. La villa de 2 habitaciones está espectacular.

Desde antes de la llegada la experiencia fue mala, lo que no sabía es que se pondría peor. Especialmente la bienvenida y el trato del gerente fueron terribles. Tu como cliente te tienes que adaptar a lo que ellos dicen, desde a como regístrate y hacer el pago, a lo que se tiene o no en el menú, a sus decisiones de limpieza y accesibilidad hasta a toallas y jabones. No recuerdo una experiencia tan mala, trato muy burdo, dando prácticamente órdenes y con cero flexibilidad y sentido común.

El hotel está muy bonito y las instalaciones prácticamente nuevas y en perfecto estado, el único inconveniente es que las calles para llegar al hotel son un poco complicadas

Incredible hotel right near the beach!

We loved staying at Punta Nayaa! The hotel is stunning with amazing views over the pacific and the jungle. The hotel has a beautiful infinity pool and is very stylish in general. The people woeking there are super professional, friendly and helpful! The food and drinks offered at the hotel‘s restaurant are as well a huge plus!

El acceso a es terrible, no está pavimentado las calles son irregulares y muy obscuras por la noche. Las habitaciones son algo ruidosas por la noche. La alberca es muy pequeña, pero el espacio de las habitaciones es adecuado. Tardó mucho en llenarse la tina en mi habitación.

The hotel is new so it’s in excellent condition, the rooms are finished to a very high spec and very tastefully done. The hotel has a very luxurious feel to it. Definitely a hotel for having a chill time. I thought the pool location was odd to begin with but actually ended up using it a bit. Only slight annoyance was inability to get food or drinks after 17:00.

Una experiencia inolvidable, definitivamente. El personal del lobby es atento, amable, respetuoso y siempre servicial. El area compartida siempre limpia, muy tranquila y excelente para pasar el rato relajado. Los cuartos son una maravilla, tienen refirgeración y, por lo menos en el que yo me quedé, un tina en el balcón con una vista hermosa. Todo es perfecto, lo único a lo que le pondría un "pero" es al precios de las bebidas y alimentos, pero hay tantos restaurantes cerca que en realidad no es tanto problema. Definitivamente regresaremos!

The property is even more gorgeous in person. It’s thoughtfully designed. It’s close to everything in Zicatela and was mostly quiet at night. The a/c in the room worked well. The shower and toilet are actually behind a door that is open air with a screen, which I didn’t realize from the photos but it was pretty cool. The screen kept all the bugs out. There are roosters in the am and you can hear the dogs and insects at night, which I personally liked and made me feel more connected to the nature of the surrounding area. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I had a late flight, and they let me store my luggage and use the shower on the rooftop before departing. Nespresso pods are included in the room, but there is no fridge. Note the restaurant in the hotel closes at 5pm, but there are so many options a 10 min walk away.

The road to arrive is very rough. One taxi driver charged me more because of that. You have to pack your sense of adventure/lean into getting dirty when walking to/from Zicatela and the beach. There is no clear or paved path. I just crossed through a path that went through an empty property for sale. For me it was fun, but I could see how it would be difficult from an accessibility standpoint, also when it rains, and requires a flashlight at night. This isn’t necessarily a downside, but there is no elevator and you have to bring your luggage up and down the stairs. The staff were always willing to help.

El hotel es pequeño pero muy lindo, el personal súper atento y encantador. La habitación lindisima, buenos dprecios sahúmos y las mejores mezcalinas de todo puerto escondido jejeje. Muy tranquilo. El único pero son las calles para acceder al hotel pero eso no es un problema de ellos sino de todo puerto escondido. Me encantó.

El hotel está hermoso, una arquitectura muy fina. Está bien ubicado pero sugiero que renten una moto porque la subida y bajada hacia la playa están pesados caminando diario. La atención del personal increíble. El colchón de la cama no está taaan rico, y las sábanas estaban limpias, pero no olían a tanto jabón, eso es lo único que mejoraría. Pero sí lo recomiendo. :)

Beautiful new hotel, very close to la Punta, excellent service. The road around the property can be improved. We rented the roof top, it has an excellent pool and view. Bonus points for the Amazing smell in the hotel.

i estancia en Punta Nayaa en la punta de Zicatela, Puerto Escondido, fue simplemente excepcional, y puedo decir sin duda que superó todas mis expectativas. La belleza natural que lo rodea crea una sensación de paz y serenidad que te envuelve desde el primer momento. Las instalaciones del hotel son igualmente impresionantes. Pero lo que realmente hizo que mi estancia fuera excepcional fue el servicio impecable y la atención al detalle por parte del personal del hotel. Muy recomendable!!
