Reviewed Jul 24, 2025The property is in this coffee estate that is so rich in its flora and fauna, it’s amazing for nature lovers. The river running through the estate is an icing to the cake. We went during the rains and could not gush enough. The staff is very accommodating and its real value for money. The drive from Bangalore to the estate was very smooth and scenic as well. Highly recommend!

The rooms feel outdated and could use renovation. The full board menu doesn't offer good value for money. The property is quite far from the main city, and the in-house restaurant is not reliable. A premium hospitality feel is missing.

It's a total waste of money ,we had a miserable experience at the property .The rooms are not up to the standard and doesn't live up to the tariff.The Facility is completely outdated and doesn't fulfill the basic facilities that are very much lagging for an accommodation with this high tariff.The breakfast was horrible and overall it was very very disappointing.I would never recommend this property to anyone who is expecting a different experience at a plantation resort.

Dinner on our second night was a complete disaster. There were just 5 tables in the restaurant, and everyone was waiting for their food, despite all of it being preordered with a set time. What we finally got was tasteless and probably thrown together in a hurry. There was only one staff member managing the entire restaurant, and he’d pop in for a minute and then disappear for 3–4 minutes at a stretch. We waited 15 minutes for our food, and once it came, we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get cutlery. Other guests were visibly frustrated too. Breakfast the next morning was no better. Same issues—understaffed, no manager or captain in sight, restaurant left completely unattended. Guests were left sitting and waiting without any idea when someone would show up. These two meals really ruined the overall experience for us. We were looking forward to a relaxing stay, but this kind of basic service failure makes it hard to recommend the place to anyone.

I booked a Superior Room, anticipating a comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, the room did not quite live up to the name. Though reasonably clean, it lacked the freshness and attention to detail one would expect at this price point. The amenities were basic and did not reflect the "superior" category standard.

It is not near to any of the tourist attractions The property is more than a century old and it has been renovated to suit guests. The room that we stayed didn't have any ventilation and need to depend on airconditioner all time.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025The place was very serene and calm. The hospitality was excellent with very friendly staff. The best was the homely touch to the food being prepared. They even customised based on our likings and preferences. Best place if you prefer to stay in the Natures lap.
The approach road can be better, something to manage insects and mosquitoes during night time, more activities within the property would have been good.

Also can go for coffee plantation walk. They have basket ball court, badminton, table tennis, small kids play area, carrom board etc. RO plant in every room Best place to spend time with family, kids and friends.
Bathroom doesnt have exhaust fan, Food menu is very boring although it tastes good if u plan to stay more than 2 days as all curries taste same. Cost of stay is also on higher side.

Reviewed Nov 6, 2024The property next to a coffee plantation is very beautiful and peaceful with good natural views. The whole place is very well maintained and managed by an excellent team. Props to the managers and the whole team for extending themselves to make sure guests are comfortable. Special mention to the kitchen staff for very tasty, homely food served on time and as per our requirements (vegetarian food). Overall, it was a terrific experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in a great location and experience top-notch hospitality in Coorg!

Reviewed Oct 11, 2024Property is located within the coffee estate, between the lush green surroundings. Staff is very helpful and especially the property manager, Keertan, is always available and supportive for any requests. Breakfast and dinner were both tasty.
Location is a bit far from the key tourist attractions. Since this is located in a remote green belt, evenings (after sunset) are dark and not safe to go out for a stroll outside the property.

1. Bathrooms were not having exhaus fan. So, it was stinking all the time 2. Shower curtain was not full lenth Toilet flush was filling quarter tank. As such, they don't know how ro construct a bath room. 3. Served cold and horrible coffee although Coorg coffee was India famous. The Tirupura staff don't know the definition of coffee 4. They were serving only north Indian food other than breakfast why??? 5. The south Indian breakfast was below average.
