The Cana's Coorg

It was wonderful stay in Coorg. It is a neat and clean home stay at a nice location. The food was very good. The atmosphere was nice. Lots of sitting places out of the room in the balconies and terrace. The breakfast was really nice.

The property’s location is fantastic, right across from a serene semi-forest area. The highlight of our stay was Dheeraj, the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. With its open and airy design, the property offers a wonderful experience—especially during the rains, when the atmosphere becomes even more refreshing and beautiful.

One of the best homestays that I have experienced so far. The hosts are amazingly kind and friendly. They meet the guests personally everyday and enquire about their stay. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The food quality is second to none. Highly recommended.

Wifi could be a bit better but for us it didn't matter much as mobile data connectivity was excellent.

The property is amazing and picturesque. It is very well maintained and is ideal for big groups of friends/family. The food is cooked on the property and is cooked very well. The house caretaker Simon is courteous and very responsive. This property is worth a repeat-stay!

The place was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The food was nothing short of delicious, tasted just like a home-cooked meal, full of flavor and made with love. While it's a bit of a distance from the main sightseeing spots, this actually adds to its charm, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway to unwind and relax, this is definitely the perfect option. Highly recommended!

located at a nice place its very calm place property is new built in Oct 2023 The owners of the property stay at the ground floor and are approachable

No outside view from the room. We could hear the voice of people passing by from the stares. Food was very costly. Have to order dinner by 4 PM only with a very limited food option. No activities (except carom board) for people wanting to spare some time in the homestay.

It was very clean and comfortable. The food was very hygienic and tasty. All staffs are very helpfull and behaved good.

For tourist the view points are long in distances.

Nothing is there to be disliked

The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the weather was cold and rainy, we were comfortable inside. The hosts are warm and friendly. The staff were very responsive. The food was also very good. Ammathi is a perfect spot to stay in as it is equally distanced from Coorg's many attractions, including Nagarhole and Thale Cauvery.

It is a lovely place in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Hard to find a quiet place in India, but this was it. Wonderful building and pleasant hosts. Home made breakfast was lovely and tasty. As it stands, it is a relatively far away place from restaurants and sightseeing places, but it is a good place to relax and spend some time with your thoughts.

I know this is something that there is nothing to be done about, but bugs were there and visible. Some trouble with hot water, but after waiting for a half an hour or so, you get hot water

Hospitality was well above par! Though we only stayed for a day, we were treated very well by the staff and the owners!

The property was vert clean and hygienic the owner Mr Shaun made us very comforts and his staff were always there for our help. The food cooked at home was out of the world. On time breakfast & dinner. The place was at a very serene location. Enjoyed our 3 days completely.

The hospitality of the owners was great. We reached around 2 and they asked if we had lunch and the moment they came to know we did not, they prepared the food and served us. The food was too good.

The distance from city and locations to visit is far.

The rooms were brand new and very spacious and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and chatty which was great.

They didn’t take international card payments!! This must be an option for guests. We had 3 rooms: - there was no notice to say to switch on the water heater for a warm shower (switch outside bathroom) - couldn’t work out how to use the TV in my room - the kettle didn’t work in one room
