Dhoadhi Retreat was a real treat, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, from boat transfers to all excursions, they were amazing! Loved the location, the breakfast and the clean and cool rooms.

Excellent location, one corner from the beach yet quiet, very friendly and approachable staff, nice interiours, spaceous rooms and balcony, good price per value.

I truly felt at home here. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, seen, and genuinely cared for the entire time. The two guys from the hotel were always present, attentive, and incredibly kind — it honestly felt like being with family 🤍 beach is very close 💙 area is peaceful. I extended my stay from two days to almost 2 weeks 😁 wish I could stay longer .

Beautiful stay in Thulusdhoo. The hotel is right by the beach, with big, comfortable rooms and a really nice outdoor lounge area where you can relax after a day in the sun. What truly made the experience special though was the staff. Prashanth and Sakthi are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They are always attentive, making sure you have everything you need and going out of their way to help. Their warmth and care really made the stay memorable. I would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thulusdhoo.

There’s nothing I didn’t like

Nagyon kedves-készséges személyzet, szuper méretű szobák, kényelmes ágy, megfelelő tisztaság. Közel a tengerpart, utca végén pedig a kedvenc kávézónk. Minden rendkívüli!

Top verblijf gehad bij de Dhoadhi. De hosts zijn super, hielp je overal mee (vervoer van en naar het eiland; tours) en ontzettend aardig. De lounge is geweldig: het voelt als een open huiskamer, heel gezellig. Kamers ruim en schoon. En, het is 10 seconden lopen naar het strand.

The location, just a street back from the bikini beach, was great and the smiley staff faultless in their greeting and customer service.

I can't really understand the good reviews for this, given the price point. It looks good in photos but the room I stayed in (#7) while large, was really spartan and quite unappealing. There was little furniture, no bedside lights (just the big light and one quite random floor-level light) the double bed was just two singles pushed together (creating the dreaded gap in the middle) and the private outdoor space was very unappealing - a tiny balcony with a basic bench and rusty, noisy AC unit above it, which I did not feel safe sitting under. The bathroom was basic with limited hot water and no soap by the sink. Beach towels weren't provided and drying space was limited. It was ok, but overall, the finish and quality of this was far more 'hostel' than 'guesthouse', which was disappointing given the price point. I did also struggle to get timely responses to messages about booking the ferry transfer, which was a little stressful. It's fine if the rate is rate, but we felt at $90 per room, per night, this was over priced. Fine if you get a hostel rate, but if you're looking for a bouji local guesthouse, there are far better options.

Location, staff, overall clean and tidiness of the retreat, breakfast every morning.

The rooms aren’t sound proof at all, we had a couple families staying at the same time as us and around 10pm every night they would make a large amount of unnecessary noise and banging and slamming of doors.

Loved it! Lovely place, very clean, very good location, great breakfast and amazing staff. They organized all the transportations and gave me recommendations for food and a scuba diving center. Glass bottles with water that could be refilled included. Just all around a lovely stay.

Были крысы. Воду в номер на приносили, бумагу не давали. Пускали в отель посторонних людей. Уехали на сутки Раньше, но Деньги за оставшиеся дни не вернули. При этом еще потребовали деньги за экологический сбор отдельно им заплатить, хотя этот сбор был уже включен в стоимость проживания

Ubytovani bylo naprosto perfektni po vsech strankach! Nejvice jsme ocenovali peci recepcnich, kteri se o nas skvele starali! Tez delaji kazdy den jinou, bajecnou snidani! Cisto, lokalita a kvalita!

Very nice spot, 50 meters from the beach where the surf is, the guys working there where amazing and helped us with everything from booking boats to and from the airport, to hiring a privateboat to bring us to snorkeling and surfing spots! The area in the hotel is nice and shaded so you can do some work or read a book, for sun you can sit on the beach👌🏽

Die Lage war super. Alles sauber und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Sehr gut gelegen in 2. Reihe zum Strand. Personal absolut hervorragend. Sehr hilfsbereit und immer verfügbar. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Zimmer konnte immer gereinigt werden und die Gemeinschaftsräume wurden ebenso immer instand gehalten.

Das Frühstück war Mengenmäßig leider sehr gering. Wenn auch lecker. Aussendusche beim Zimmer nicht vorhanden!? Bett war etwas stockig und nicht ganz bequem.

Amazing and helpful staff (helped us book a speedboat when the local ferry was canceled due to bad weather). 1 min walk to bikini beach. Good breakfast that changed daily. Common area was nicely decorated.

Our beds were rock hard and the toilet had a strange smell.

Super friendly staff, really nice breakfast, clean rooms and one of the comfortable beds I‘ve slept in my entire travels.

Nicely designed hotel, 1 minute walk to the beach. Very nice and helpful staff, organised my taxi and speedboat transfers. Surf board hire is easy.

Bed was quite firm. If there is a storm, you will be woken in the night by the wind entering a hole in the roof above your shower. Sewage smell in my room occasionally. Breakfast is fine, it eggs with bread in different styles each day.

The interior was nice, rooms were clean and spacious. They also provided a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and assisted us Beds were a bit hard and there was no electric kettle in the room despite it being stated as an amenity in the booking. We had to pay an extra 50rf for the pickup

Good location close to the beach and nice restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful they did a lot of helpful stuff for us.

The construction is noisy next to the building. They need to fix the windows or put better protection, rain and some bugs came inside even if it was closed

Booked 6 nights but left after one night. Room allocated was actually very dark, not the most welcoming and friendly staff. But i fully appreciate the goodwill gesture from the owner/ manager to refund me the unused nights. For me there are much better properties in Thulusdhoo for the same price range.

The staff are extremely nice and supportive! The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the beach. The lobby of the guesthouse is exactly what you would expect from a Maldivian island; it's like walking on the beach, filled with sand and wooden chairs. The room is comfortable and clean, with a balcony :)

The staffs were very kind. Always available for any need you ask. The guest house lobby was very comfortable

It was even more beautiful than in pictures. The host was really kind and attentive, he looked after us really well, we could check in earlier and leave later than indicated. The breakfast was incredibly good and we got different breakfast every morning. The room was clean and the bed is really comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

Nice decoration of the reception.

Toilet not flushing. Illumination in the room completely wrong. Window in the bathroom with no glass, it was raining inside. Breakfast poor and with no choise. Staff with very bad english level and lazy. Poor organisation in loco, need to chat with owner (I guess) by whatsapp. I am sorry but it really was not a pleasent stay.

The hotel is 1min walk from the beach, good AC.

Very BAD shower, just dripping water, heater is terrible. Bathrooms in the ground floor rooms have open exist to the outside, and there is no door, they also have very bad smell always. Beds are super uncomfortable (I like firm mattress but these are literally wooden), sheets and towels are with spots and need proper laundry. Windows are all covered in kind of glue, and cannot be closed properly, so you will want the curtain always closed hence consider it as no windows in the rooms (even higher floors). Room was suggested to be cleaned only after we complained that we got huge red ants in the bathroom. Also, the main door is almost broken, seems to be 100 years old although it is a new hotel.

the bikini beach is a one minute walk from the guesthouse, nice and cozy living room area where you have breakfast. the staff is extremely friendly! Kumar cooks the best black coffee and Asad, who manages it all with guests is incredible.Super helpful, walked us around, helped to exchange money, arranged pick ups and drop tos, any issue or question you have - he will sort it out or advise. this made the stay highly comfortable considering this wasn’t a hotel.

2 clothes hangers are not enough no night lamps beds may be hard, but we liked it breakfasts are same everyday, they call them continental, but as mentioned you should just ask and they will arrange corn flakes and yoghurt, and will do their best to make you feel satisfied rooms are cleaned and towels changed only if you ask to the sink cabinet doors hanged open
