A solid 4 / 5 star stay. A newish hotel. Professional and efficient check-in on 13 Sept. Our std Room 418 for 1 night was clean and at 33 m², quite spacious for 2 adults and was well designed for 2 large suitcases. The full sized microwave was useful, as was the full sized fridge; as I travel with meds that work with a freezer pack while in the car. Nice towels. The included breakfast was very pleasing. There are 3 immediate area evening (basic) dining options or a 5 min flat walk away there is a Kelseys Grill, etc.

The in room air con / HVAC was usable but has only 2 speeds = noisy and very noisy and the room does not have a window that can open. Never certain then with such a setup as to whether any fresh outside air ever gets in? Probably not = a stuffy room. We find north American hotel mattresses too soft and the 4 supplied pillows were also way too soft.

L'hotel è molto carino, pulito, ben attrezzato (la nostra stanza aveva ha il forno a microonde, il frigorifero, stoviglie); magari poche sedie, ma ci si organizza. La struttura ha anche lavatrici/asciugatrici che funzionano con carta di credito: è stato ottimo poterle utilizzare! Colazione buona e ben fornita sia di dolce sia di salato (con i waffle da fare al momento!). Staff disponibile e sorridente. Noi abbiamo soggiornato qui per andare poi ad Algonquin Park: per arrivare a West Gate è mezz'ora di strada. Intorno ci sono ristornati (fast-food), ma anche Walmart e Independent per fare la spesa.

Al momento sto ancora aspettando i 100 CAD di cauzione, ma sono fiduciosa!

The room we had must previously had a dog stay in it. I suffer from allergies. It did trigger my cough.

Convenient Location

Room was full of stains (couch, ottoman, office chair, curtain. Driveway to hotel was all ripped apart. Breakfast area is too congested. Need to spread it out. Long lines every morning.

Laute Klimaanlage, die sich nachts einfach eingeschaltet hat.

Enostaven doszop, prijazno osebje, velike prostorne sobe z mini kuhinjo, mikrovalovna pečica, aparat za kavo in pomivalni stroj. Dobili smo dve povezani sobi kar je bilo še posebej ugodno za našo družino.

Morda samo skromna izbira hrane za zajtrk, sicer pa brez propomb.

Zimmer insgesamt gut. Das Schlafsofa war ziemlich fleckig und das Frühstück ist ein ziemliches Durcheinander. Insgesamt war es in Ordnung. Vor Ort gab es aber auch außerhalb von Booking.com gute Alternativen.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were wonderful, especially Sydney who provided exceptional customer service. Loved the coffee bar.

Brand new facilities, spotless clean and very nice staff. They were friendly and provided everything we needed super quickly, including setting up the fire for s'mores! The size of our room was massive!

The kitchenette does not include any stove, only a microwave, but they can give you a kettle if you ask for it. Breakfast was limited and honestly a bit disappointing in variety and quality

Booked the hotel through Booking.com, received the confirmation. Drove 4 hours to Hunstville on Sunday with pouring rain. Upon arrival to Hilton front desk, they could not locate my reservation. Hilton said that Booking.com did not transmitted the reservation or booking to them. We were left on our own to find a room to stay for the night.

We arrived in the hotel at 15.30 (what a bumpy road to enter the parking lot!) and got the message that we had to wait another 30 minutes because of a lack of cleaning staff. We were asked to go and have a drink. When we said we would wait (as we were standing there with all of our luggage), all of sudden the room was ready. The guy who is responsable for breakfast does all he can, but there were so many people and so little staff, that breakfast was a bit of a mess. We called the hotel to ask if there was a oven and got an affirmative response. We bought some pizza's in the supermarket to find out that there was only a microwave (they offered us some free pizza baguettes, but they were not exactly tasteful). Overall, a bit of a disappointing stay.

Al nostro arrivo il divano letto per nostro figlio non era stato preparato. Il manager ci ha detto che le lenzuola si trovavano in camera e che è loro prassi non prepararlo, ma si è offerto di venire a farlo lui. Purtroppo, c'era sì la coperta in camera, ma le lenzuola mancavano ed è dovuto andare a prenderle nel loro ripostiglio. Che sarebbe successo se fossimo arrivati durante la notte? Dentro un cassetto abbiamo rinvenuto un calzino fetido lasciato da un altro ospite, con miasmi che fuoriuscivano (e che ci hanno permesso di trovarlo). Segnalata la cosa, dopo una semplice "scusa", nessuno è venuto a rimuoverlo ed è rimasto lì per i 2 giorni del nostro soggiorno. Dopo la prima notte,.abbiamo trovato il pavimento davanti la zona cucina completamente allagato con valigia e zaini bagnati. Segnalata la cosa, non abbiamo più saputo nulla (al nostro ritorno era asciutto, non sappiamo cosa sia successo nel frattempo, dato che avendo lasciato l aria condizionata accesa si è potuto asciugare anche da solo). Alle 4 del mattino, e fino alle 5:40, una forte vibrazione proveniente dal frigorifero ci ha svegliati e di fatto ci ha interrotto il sonno. Aprendo le porte il rumore aumentava o diminuiva, fino a diventare insopportabile. Alla reception hanno dato come causa lo sbrinamento automatico. A mio avviso, sembrava piuttosto un problema di risonanza con qualche macchinario partito alla base dell'edificio di prima mattina. Last but not least: scrivono a chiare lettere nella sala principale che se qualcosa va storto, la notte è a loro carico. Niente di tutto ciò...solo semplici scuse, ZERO empatia, ZERO azioni di care verso i clienti scontenti. Un vero peccato!

I was very satisfied with my overall stay. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to reach nearby attractions, restaurants, shops, and transportation. The surrounding area felt safe, quiet, and suitable for a family trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with enough space for our belongings. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities in the room worked well. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. The breakfast was enjoyable and offered a good variety of choices for both adults and children. The food was fresh, the dining area was clean, and the staff regularly replenished the items. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the public areas and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Overall, the hotel provided good value for money and met most of our expectations. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience, and I would consider staying here again when visiting the area.

The main area for improvement is the lack of facilities for young children. It would be very helpful if the hotel could provide an indoor playground, a small children’s activity room, or a play corner. This would make the hotel more family-friendly, especially during bad weather or when children need a safe place to play indoors.

It was a clean room, and the staff were great. Very friendly service and accommodating considering I accidentally miss-booked my room to arrive a day too early.

It served its purpose, but be ware this really is a hotel block in the middle of a parking lot. Great for work, but not a vacation place to take the family.

Redelijk dicht bij Algonquin park, en toch de faciliteiten. Van een hotel. Leuk verwarmd zwembad zodat onze dochter na een dag wandelen even kon zwemmen.

Hoewel het ontbijt goed is, is er niet voldoende plaats om te zitten. Het is vaak echt wachten tot andere mensen gedaan hebben met eten. Iedereen ruimt zelf af, wat zeker geen probleem is, maar het zou fijn zijn als de tafels toch even afgewreven werden alvorens daar opnieuw gebruik van te maken.

Hilton is well known the world over for quality, comfort and friendly hospitality. Hilton Home 2 Suite is no different. it is very functional for a long period family stay. The suite has a decent sixed fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, iron and ironing board .Clean glasses and mugs, working area with many sockets and lamps, nice hanging closet, etc. Towels are also amply provided. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Facilities are neat, clean and well maintained. It is "the" hotel" for our next visit to Huntsville. :)

Breakfast very good considering the cost. Location close to everywhere by car. The whole package is excellent considering is not luxury hotel. I would highlight the staff quality as excellent. In this regard the front desk Julie helped us several times with precious tips in terms of places to visit and restaurants.

Our bed was Queen. We like king. When i booked there was no king available, but we did it just 2 weeks before and we stayed for 1 week. But it was not a fault of the hotel. We knew would be queen bed before going.

Roads in are bad but I would not let you be put off by that the hotel far out ways this and not their fault it’s the building around there but it’s not intrusive once in the hotel.

The driveway into the Plaza where the hotel is located had extremely large pot holes there were so many they could not be avoided, they were also very deep which can cause car damage

I was quite disappointed with the room cleanliness, items under the bed, visible dirt under cabinets, and fridge. Not what I would have expected in a $400 dollar a night room.

We love staying here. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. We especially love that our room has a separation curtain. With 4 people getting ready, it is helpful to have another section to get dressed. The breakfast has something for everyone. We also appreciate that coffee, tea, hot chocolate is available all day long.

Breakfast was poor - fruit didn’t look fresh ( brown bananas and oranges were hard and dry —- coffe was mediocre - eggs were cold … we do not eat sausages when we travel - often not cooked well enough but we would of appreciated another choice maybe bacon… we really didn’t have a hot breakfast …. Ended up with just yogurt cup

Breakfast … a fresh hot breakfast would have been appreciated. We found that $75 to pay for our cocker spaniel ‘s stay for one night was a bit much … we usually pay around $40 ….we checked in at 3 pm slept overnight and left next morning around 9:30 am

Everything was very new and clean. The room was very spacious. Breakfast was great! And they have gluten free bread.

Hot portion of the breakfast needs improvement. Keeping things warm, and not dried out. Fresh cooked. The rest was fine. Rooms are very comfortable, well designed, bright and clean. Corridors and general lay out are attractive.

The breakfast was very nutritious and many family members really enjoyed the waffles. Great coffee👍

Unfortunately a part in the swimming pool broke the day we arrived so the pool was unavailable. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We stayed 2 nights but the part arrived the morning we had to depart😞

Huge pot holes getting into the hotel were very bad. The shampoo was completely empty.

The swimming pool wasn’t open The room wasn’t cleaned every day ( had to ask for toilet paper, towel). There were food crumbs under the bed from previous clients. The bathroom smelled .

The location was good as it was accessible to everything with restaurants and stores within walking distance. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of hot and cold options. The suite was a perfect layout and size.

The wifi was temperamental at times, but we were able to watch Netflix (we bought our Firestick).

Absolutely overpriced.

The room was big enough. Had no issues checking in. The breakfast options were expansive, even for vegetarians. We stayed for 2 nights. Location was great, close to the downtown and 15 min drive to the Ski area. Walmart is right opposite to the hotel.

We had issues with our house keeping. For the second day, we didn't get house keeping and when I inquired with the reception, they didn't help. The answer i received was we dont have the staff at this time.

Staff was very accommodating, breakfast is very good, pool is clean as are the facilities and the rooms.

Reserved for two beds but found after check in it was one bed and for handicap. I asked to change and it was done but was a bit frustrated.

Everything was very good to excellent. Breakfast tended to get cold quite quickly - the heater used to keep food (like sausages etc.) did not perform well - food was cold. Fitness room was very good. Rooms were clean and contained just about everything one could need. Yet there were no phones in the rooms - thus no immediate contact to service desk.

Die Lage des Hotels war hervorragend, zum Algonquinpark waren es ca. 40 min. mit dem Auto, die Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und sauber, das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Breakfast was amazing. Food was delicious and there were tons of options. The rooms were great and clean but we had no hand soap, there were coffee supplies missing, only 3 pillows on the beds and one elevator was broken. Aside from that- best place we’ve stayed in awhile.

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. Room was a good size. A few items were missing in the room but the service was quick when asked about them.

The main complaint was the breakfast. It was not hot. Although they tried to have a variety, what was out was not in a warming tray and was cool and rubbery. Very disappointing. Would have liked some hand cream and regular tea and coffee.

Forcing its guests to subscribe in order to use WIFI in 21 century AND at the same time warn them that they might be required to pay for this WIFI use. Breakfast was difficult to get: 5 minutes wait to have something, then 5 more minutes wait for something else, etc.

No area to put wet boots in the entry in the room. The fridge was leaking water inside which ruined some packaging/ food. Dishwashing pods weren’t given until second day. Would have preferred a thicker blanket on the beds. Asked for a printed receipt at the end of the stay but the front desk said the printer is very slow and I was not prepared to wait 30 mins.

They told me they would not charge me for my stay and they proceeded to charge my card and not get back in touch with me

The hot water faucet was making a terrible noise. We were told it cannot be fixed without breaking the walls. Practically, we could not use hot water at the bathroom's sink.

This hotel was so clean and the rooms were a great size. I loved the curtain divider that separated the pull put queen. It really made things easier with 3 kids in the room!
