Naval Guest House

As a pilgrim walking the Camino it was right along the path. Super friendly staff so felt welcome. Super clean as well. So nice to have a Nespresso to start our morning!

Remodeled and very clean. Very close to Camino and also to numerous restaurants and necessary stores. The bathroom was great and good pressure. The bed was nice but the sheets were really nice. Most of all we had great help from NATO who also served us a delicious meal of grilled fish and veggies.

No AC but we had a fan.

Beautiful view with a fully functional comfortable room.

Communication was poor. Was told the incorrect room number. Unfortunately this was amended but we had already unpacked in the wrong room. Was offered a 10% guest discount at the bistro-that didn’t even open and day 2 did open but we left after 45 minutes due to lack of service! Also they offer a breakfast box but we couldn’t work out how to order it!

Das Restaurant im Haus ist hervorragend und das Personal war total nett.

I left the room within approximately two hours because of a dispute with Samuel, who was managing the property. My friend came to visit me briefly. After Samuel saw my friend entering the room, he called me around five or six times on WhatsApp and sent multiple messages threatening to call the police. He also harassed my friend when she was leaving and recorded a video of her on the road. Even after I left the property, he continued calling and sending threatening messages. I found this behaviour very intimidating and inappropriate. The room was extremely hot and had no air conditioning. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and completely ruined my day.

The room is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Kettle in the room.

The mini fridge is very impractical. Too small to hold anything much.

lovely location riverside, close to many facilities yet peaceful. Comfy bed, clean rooms and had view of river agreed which was especially lovely. Easy entry, very safe and secure location and would stay here again. Easy to use metro too for further explore as only 15 minute walk.Good wifi, coffee machine and kettle in room very useful.

Aircon rather than fans although we did cope, so no complaints just observation.

En función de las fotos, la habitación era más pequeña; no eran 3 camas separadas por una mesilla, ya que 2 de las camas eran una litera. No tenía ventana/balcón, como se aprecia en la foto; había una claraboya. El desagüe del lavabo estaba casi totalmente tupido

Great location, clean room, tea as a complement, towels, shampoo and shower gel. Comfortable beds. Perfect location, right on the Camino, next to the river. We liked it here, and we would stay again next time.

I was sure I am booking the room wit the river view - it was very nice. But our was on the other side, with a very small window very high, just beneath the ceiling. So, book carefully. No washing machine, no place to dry the clothes you've washed in the sink.

I had a great stay! The check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The room was spotless, beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the room upgrade. The view over the marina with the boats was amazing. The location is perfect, especially for Camino de Santiago pilgrims. I would happily stay here again!

Top location. The simpathy of the host who gave us a room with a view to the river. Very good value for the price we payed. We have also loved the area, the beach, the Alfandega museum and the Nau/boat. Free parking available near by and everywhere, a great bonus for those who travel by car to Vila do Conde.

Olyan mint a képeken. Tetszett a kilátás a szobából. Szép tiszta volt a szoba.

Az ajtó akad, neha nehéz volt kinyitni.

Sehr süßes Zimmer, wenn auch etwas klein und die Straße vor dem Haus ist recht belebt. Das Bad ist toll und gut ausgestattet (sehr wohlriechendes Duschgel!). Auf dem Zimmer gibt es Tee, Kaffee und sogar Kekse inklusive :-) Der Check-In war kontaktlos und einfach beschrieben. Im hoteleigenen Restaurant bekommt man als Hotelgast zusätzlich 10% Rabatt und das Essen ist sehr gut. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und nahe am Caminho!

De vriendelijke jongedame als welkom.

Dit waren de slechtste bedden waar ik ooit op geslapen heb. De veren priemen in je rug en het onderstel wiebelt constant. Verder is alles plastic, een beetje stijl is compleet afwezig.

Litet rum, men allt man behöver finns. Man bjuds på vatten och kaffe och tvål/schampoo. Utcheckning vid elva. Trevlig personal och de verkar ha en bra restaurang när man ser utifrån. Vi hann aldrig äta där.

Läget och omtanken. Bra lösning med en liten laddstation vid sängen.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment with everything you need and lovely hosts. Great location in the old town with a fantastic view of the river. Fantastic air conditioning in living room and bedroom.

Noise from a party at the second apartment in the building made it impossible to sleep until 1am when I knocked on the door and asked them to be quiet. Not ideal after walking 30km, my kids were exhausted the next morning from lack of sleep. Bring earplugs!

La ubicación fue perfecta para ver los fuegos artificiales de San Juan, pudimos aparcar al lado del mercado e ir andando hasta el hotel. Lo recomiendo para el San Juan

Acogedor, camas cómodas, tenía unas ventanas muy pequeñitas en la parte de arriba pero había dos ventiladores y se estaba muy bien. Bien situado en el camino De Santiago.

The property was lovely just as described the room was comfortable clean and had a wonderful view towards the fishing boats and river. Restaurant downstairs was delicious we ate a few times very nice fish and traditional dishes. We requested an iron and within a few hours an iron , board and steamer were put in the room. Contact to hotel was helpful before we arrived with quick responses. Would happily stay again as it was one of the best spots with easy walking distance to the beach , the town, little cafes , bars and restaurants. Obrigada to all the staff who made our stay such a lovely experience 🥰

Super accueil, personnel très agréable et serviable. Etablissement dans un environnement sympathique. Ce lieu est très propre et bien situé géographiquement. J’y retournerai sans hésitation, je le recommanderais également.

L’insonorisation de la chambre n’est pas top mais si on prévoit des bouchons d’oreilles et bien on passe une excellente nuit.

Die Lage ist genau gegenüber, der Marina von Vila do Conde . Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet. Alles sauber und schön Hell.Restaurants sind in der Nähe und ich hatte eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Die Unterkunft ist nicht hellhörig.

Eigentlich hat mir alles gut gefallen und insofern hab ich eigentlich nichts Negatives zu berichten.

Chambre trop petite , p.dej en box très bien fourni mais impossible à profiter ds une chambre sans siège , dommage. Une remarque : super déco, mais une chaise ou tabouret serait préférable ds la salle de bains à la place de la grande plante en plastic 😏

Good location, right on the Camino route, within easy reach of a few bars and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and good facilities.

We had a triple room which was a little too small, not much space for 3 adults and our bags. However, this was extremely good value for money.

Die Lage ist super. Sehr central in Vila do Conde (Tourist Information Office quasi direkt vor der Tür). Das Hotel liegt paar Meter abseits von Jakobsweg. Zimmer ist klein. Es gibt Wasserkocher, Kaffee & Tee. Einrichtung eher funktional und simpel. Teilweise leicht abgenutzt.

Die dünne Wände. Preislich liegt es mit über 100 Euro (kurzfristige Buchung über Booking.com, 1 Zimmer mit Doppelbett, mit eigenem Bad und WC, kein Aufzug), auf oberen Ende für Jakobsweg.

The room was very nice, the view spectacular and it was a perfect place to stay during our Camino! Lidl is a few minutes walk from the Hostel, nice to buy some proviant for the next walk! We would have booked the breakfast if we had seen it, it looked nice and had a good price! It was easy to check in and the owner/staff were very helpful on whatsapp when I had a question.

We are walking the Camino and it was right on the route. Easy to find and had a great restaurant to eat at. The food was delicious.

A little noisy. Being right over the restaurant and on the Main Street could hear people and definitely cars. Thought the cars would gradually slow down but seemed to go all night.

The man greeting us was very kind and Informed. Great place near water. Room was small but well appointed. Breakfast box delivered to room replete with tablecloth, very much worth it. Definitely a good experience.

Liegt zentral am Fluss.

Bin seit Lissabon am pilgern. Dies war die teuerste Unterkunft bisher mit extrem spartanischer Ausstattung. Als ich mich gleich beklagt habe, sagte man mir es wäre ja auch für 3 Personen. Nun, für 2 habe ich ja immer, manchmal auch für 3. Heute habe ich ein günstigeres Apartment mit Küche, Wohnraum, Schlaf- und Kinderzimmer und 2 Bädern für weniger Geld. Nee, Preis-Leistung stimmt da gar nicht. Es gibt ein Oberlicht-Fenster unterm Dach. Da kann man natürlich nicht rausgucken.... Für'n Wanderer auch blöd nicht sehen zu können, ob man Regenklamotten braucht. Sonst war das Nötigste da, was man braucht. Aber empfehlen kann ich die Unterkunft nicht.
