The food is amazing the meals they prepared, the beds very confortable and they also include the laundry service for a very nice price. To be honest amazing experience! Really recommended if you want to enjoy from the Switzerland nature.

Man hört jeden Schritt von allen. Ein sehr ringhöriger Bau. Am morgen um zwei Uhr ist eine Truppe betrunkener in die Jugendherberge zurückgekeht und haben so ziemlich alle geweckt.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026es war für uns angenehm zu wissen, dass wir bei der Ankunft in der Jugi, das Nachtessen einnehmen können. Wir waren überrascht wie frisch alles zubereitet wurde. Auch am Morgen stand ein wunderbares frisches Frühstück bereit. Etwas schade fanden wir, dass bei all den frischen Produkten, ,nicht auch die Milch frisch war. Es wurde UHT-Milch bereit gestellt. Es gibt sicherlich viele Gründe dafür. Vielleicht könnte gleichwohl eine kleine Menge Frischmilch besorgt werden. Wir Schweizer sind doch Milchdrinker. Die UHT-Milch schmeckt einfach ganz anderst, ob im Kaffee, Ovo-Müesli ganz egal.
Eben frische Milch hätten wir lieber gehabt. Alles war sauber und einwandfrei.

Rooms felt a little smaller and window needs to be opened all the times for ventilation since it was summers.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Die tolle Lage, das freundliche Team und das reichhaltige Frühstück waren wirklich super. Für die Kinder gibt es einen schönen Spielplatz vor dem Haus. Dazu gibt es bedachte Sitzplätze sowie Gartenliegen. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man auch Tischkicker drin spielen. Der traumhafte Eugenisee ist gleich um die Ecke.
Es gibt keine Jalousien, sondern nur Vorhänge.

Das Bett war zu kurz, bin 1.80 m gross und mit den Metallrahmen am Kopf-und Fussende extrem unbequem. Dünne Matratze, unbequem.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026It was wonderful! The staff was very kind an accommodating. The breakfast was very amazing and delicious! It wasn't a far walk from the station, ski lift, or stores. Genuinely lovely stay and will book them again if they have rooms when we visit again.
It wasn't a problem at all, because it worked downstairs, but the wifi didn't quite reach the top floor rooms

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Da bei meinem Besuch Ende März wenig los war, war von allem reichlich da. Ausreichend gute Auswahl.
Ich finde es schade, dass man für Parkplätze für seine Gäste kostenpflichtig macht. Es ist generell nicht schön. In Hotels verstehe ich das ja evtl., wenn da auch darauf aufgepasst wird und es eine verschlossene Anlage ist. Aber um sein Auto vor der Tür abzustellen, dafür Geld zu bezahlen finde ich nicht gut. Und 10 CHF ist nicht wenig.

Reviewed Dec 26, 2025Sehr freunichrs Personal. Der Speiseraum konnte voll umfänglich als gemeinsamer Aufenthaltsraum genutzt werden. Ein Kühlschrank steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. Tischtennisplatte, Kicker und verschiedene Gesellschaftsspiele sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
Ich schlafe lieber in einem eigenem Zimmer mit Bad, aber ich wusste ja, dass es eine Jugendherberge ist. Somit gibt es eigentlich nichts auszusetzen.

There were a lot of drawings on the beddings from previous visitors, and the rooms can fit a lot of people. Fortunately, we were lucky to have only two of us in one room.
