This is a 10/10 accommodation in every sense! Ideal location, in old town but on a very quiet street. You can walk to everything. Modern clean accommodations with lots of special touches. Run by a mother and daughter who are so generous and kind and helpful! They gave us a room stocked with snacks, wine, water, juice, fruit and Raki and a handmade coin purse. Cleaned our room daily, fresh towels, robes, slippers and a Nspresso machine. If available I would 100% recommend booking this gem!

Everything about the hotel was great. The room was perfectly decorated and equipped. The hosts were extremely helpful. They are trying to make the guests feel comfortable as if they are at home. Their recommendations were also very helpful. It was probably the best hotel I have ever visited.

I liked everything about it. It has everything you need and more. A lot of goodies on arrival, friendly family run business/host who is ready to help you with anything you might need. Very comfortable beds, extremely quiet even though in a busy old town city alley. Just perfect

Το κατάλυμα, η αισθητική του χώρου,οι παροχές(πολύ καλό στρώμα και μαξιλάρια, πετσέτες ακόμη και για παραλία, πλήρες εξοπλισμός προσωπικής περιποίησης, και για το καλωσορισμα ενα καλάθι γεματο προϊόντα για πρωινό και καφέ) και η τοποθεσία ήταν άψογα. Πάνω απο ολα όμως θα πω οτι η παρουσία των ανθρώπων που σε υποδέχονται είναι αυτό που πραγματικά το κάνει να ξεχωρίζει. Τα χειροποίητα δώρα σας είναι πανεμορφα. Σας ευχαριστούμε. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε!!

Die ruhige, zentrale Lage und das schöne Ambiente haben uns sehr gefallen. Den Minibalkon haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Gastgeberin war bei der Abreise überaus hilfsbereit.

The apartment is cosy, modern, and very well equipped. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. Fresh towels, slippers, and a dressing gown are provided. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I was even gifted a handmade purse by the owners, which was a wonderful personal touch. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone. I didn’t have breakfast during my stay. However, I did have complimentary basket of biscuits and fruits provided upon arrival. The water and juice in the fridge were also complimentary.

I really enjoyed my stay at Marea Boutique Suites. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the early check-in and the way the team handled an issue with my original room by upgrading me to an even better one. The service and hospitality were excellent and made my stay very enjoyable.

The main drawback was the sound insulation of the entrance door. Noise from outside could be heard quite clearly. Fortunately, my suite had a second door separating the bedroom from the entrance area, which blocked most of the noise. Without that extra door, it would have been less comfortable. I could also occasionally hear water draining from the room above, which was surprisingly noticeable. Other than that, everything was great.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is right at the city centre. The main bus station is only a 15 minute walk away. There are many, many options for cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The beach is in walking distance as well! The owners of the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The room is well equipped and offers everything you may desire. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Per un problema con la prenotazione di Booking al nostro arrivo la camera era allestita per 2 persone anziché 3. Le ragazze di Marea Boutique Suites hanno subito risolto in maniera eccellente la situazione, coccolandoci e mostrando la premura che hanno verso i loro ospiti. La stanza si trova in posizione centrale nella old town. Per gli ospiti sono disponibili degli snack di benvenuto, i teli mare e anche gli asciugamani per il bagno. Camere molto pulite e accessoriate.

La struttura non ha difetti, e senza dubbio la consiglieremo.

Very comfortable and quiet room. Great central location near the sea, the fortress, and parking. We loved the attention to design in the furnishings.

Firstly, the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond expectations. The standard, and cleanliness of the property was a ten out of ten. The proximity to all the amenities that beautiful Rethyemon had to offer. All the items left for us in the welcome pack was really appreciated ie: assortment of teas and coffees, fresh fruit, crackers and cheese, protein bars, and of course a little bottle of Raki and local wine. Can't recommend this property and staff highly enough.

Practically nothing. Initially we found our apartment a bit tight, as we were staying for ten nights, so felt the clothes storage space wasn't sufficient. However, this was rectified immediately with minimum fuss, and we were moved to another apartment that was perfect. One minor thing was, our outside space was right outside the door of the apartment, and even though it was a lovely quiet street, it was a little public.

Etwas mehr Stauraum für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre super.

The room is wonderful, the staff helped us with every request, and the location is excellent—central yet very quiet. We were welcomed with a basket of snacks, a bottle of wine and raki, and water and juice in the refrigerator. We highly recommend this place!

Εξαιρετικά φιλική και ευγενική η κυρία Μαρία, αλλά όλο το προσωπικό. Αψογη καθαριότητα, καταπληκτικο μπανιο. Γενικά το κατάλυμα ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας!! Άριστη τοποθεσία, μέσα στο κέντρο της παλιας πολης του Ρεθύμνου και ταυτόχρονα σε ήσυχο στενό.

The facilities in the room are high class. Well maintained and cleanliness is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help. The location in Old Town is ideal

Emplacement idéal dans la vieille ville, dans une petite rue au calme. Au mois de mai nous avons réussi à nous garer gratuitement à proximité, sinon il y a des parkings payants juste à côté. L’établissement est refait à neuf et décoré avec goût, un petit cadeau de bienvenue vous est offert, ainsi que quelques produits dans la chambre et dans le frigo. La literie est très confortable.

Dommage pour l’absence de petit déjeuner, la saison venait à peine de commencer et le personnel n’était pas encore au complet. A noter qu’il n’est pas possible de cuisiner dans les chambres, vous pouvez seulement prendre le petit déjeuner (plaques non fonctionnelles et manque de vaisselle et de place). La salle de bain est petite, attention à l’eau qui coule du bac à douche.

Ce qui nous a avant tout marqués lors de notre séjour, c’est la gentillesse exceptionnelle de l’équipe. L’accueil est chaleureux et sincère, ce qui fait toute la différence. La situation de l’hôtel est idéale, parfaitement placée par rapport à la vieille ville de Rethymnon, ce qui permet de tout faire facilement à pied et de profiter pleinement du charme des lieux. Un grand merci tout particulier à Anastasia, notre réceptionniste, qui s’est vraiment déménée pour répondre à toutes nos demandes avec efficacité et toujours avec le sourire. Enfin, la chambre était impeccable, très bien équipée, confortable et parfaitement conforme à nos attentes. Rien ne manquait. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation.

Sehr schönes, stilvolles Haus in der Altstadt, geschmackvoll renoviert. Unser Zimmer in Richtung Innenhof war sehr ruhig. Sehr gute Ausstattung u.a mit Kaffee- und Teezubehör. Es gab als Willkommen ein Geschenk des Hauses und sehr leckeren Rotwein und Raki. Zum Parkdeck am Hafen sind es nur wenige Minuten. Unser Check in war problemlos, die netten Damen vor Ort haben einen früheren Check in ermöglicht, dafür nochmal ein großes Dankeschön! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder….

Nichts, alles perfekt!

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist herrlich, die Nähe zum Venezianischen Hafen ebenso. Die Zimmer sind absolut erstklassig ausgestattet, Wein, Raki, Obst, Kekse erwarten einen und die Chefin schenkte uns noch dazu eine selbstgemachte Geldbörse. Ein wunderbares Quartier, wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Gar nichts, alles war mehr als okay.

In einer ruhigen autofreien Straße der Altstadt von Rethymno liegt dieses kleine feine Apartmenthaus. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Sandstrand läuft man 15 MIN. die Promenade entlang. Die Ausstattung ist durchwegs hochwertig (Küche, Bad...). Der Empfang war überaus herzlich. Nochmals: Dank an Marea für das individuelle Gastgeschenk!

הצוות במלון נהדר עם תודעת שירות מהמעולות שחוויתי. כל שאלה ובקשה שלי נענתה באכפתיות והמון סבלנות. החדר היה נקי בצורה יוצאת דופן ומאובזר עד הפרט הכי קטן. במלון לא מוגשת ארוחת בוקר אבל כל אורח מקבל לחדרו סלסלה מלאה בפינוקים שספקו לי את הצורך לארוחת בוקר באופן מושלם, כולל מכונת קפה עם קפסולות ו קפה פילטר למי שמעדיף. המלון ממוקם במרחק הליכה קצרה מהים ומכל בתי הקפה והמסעדות שבעיר העתיקה.

Die Unterkunft war sehr komfortabel und großzügig geschnitten – viel Platz und hohe Decken sorgten für ein angenehmes Wohngefühl. Trotz Fenster nur an der vorderen Front war es überraschend hell. Die tägliche Reinigung und das bereitgestellte Wasser im Zimmer waren ein schöner Service. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage nahe der Altstadt – zentral und dennoch ruhig. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich und hat uns sogar mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk überrascht. Restaurants gibt es in der Umgebung reichlich, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Parken war etwas tricky, aber ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ist in der Nähe vorhanden. Frühstück wurde angeboten, gegen Saisonende jedoch nicht mehr – Alternativen gibt es aber genug in der Umgebung. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit Wohlfühlfaktor!

Beautifully newly renovated boutique hotel, so central to everything but still quiet! Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The hostess was lovely and informative. An overall fantastic stay in Rethymnon

The location was great but still quiet. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. Hotel level accommodation with excellent bathroom, including toiletries and bathrobes and slippers so despite mentioned challenges ok. I did not personally meet the host so no rating included for them. Arrival info was good (but all info could warn about parking).

Finding parking space at dinner time is a nightmare, even at the end of the tourist season. First time in the city, and not enough pre-study. But could be mentioned. I wished the complimentary wine bottle mentioned in the extras had actually been there after finally finding a parking space about a mile from the location and orienteering through the small streets to make the distance that short 😅. The trend of not having drawers or any hangers is not my personal preference, and the travel companion missed the character of trip's other accommodations.

No breakfast. Not a problem. Had facilities to eat in. Lefter is was there waiting. An extremely pleasant gentleman. Took cases up for us and explained all. Contact numbers etc.

Schöne Suite in der Altstadt von Rethymno, sehr netter Empfang, Zimmer sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet.

Pobyt w tym obiekcie można porównać ze standardem hotelu pięciogwiazdkowego a nawet lepiej. Na powitanie wino, raki, sok, woda. Dla każdego zestaw kosmetyków, szlafrok, kapcie i ręcznik plażowy. Idealna czystość pokoju, dbałość o szczegóły (nawet ułożenie sztućców w szufladach). Pokój sprzątany nawet codziennie. Nasza prośba o mniejsze poduszki została spełniona natychmiast. Śniadanie przepyszne, świeżo wyciskany sok pomarańczowy. Obsługa przemiła. Ponieważ wyjeżdżaliśmy wcześnie rano śniadanie dostaliśmy dzień wcześniej po południu.

Wszystko było idealnie!

Fantastic location. In the centre-of-it-all. Very clean, very private balcony. A beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. What else could you ask for?

A charming hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a great location in the old city. Despite the central location, you don't feel the noise of the city. The room is beautiful, sparkling clean, decorated and meticulously maintained to a very high standard with thought for the little details. The beds are some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The hotel staff is lovely! Very kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay!!!

Totul a fost peste așteptări. Surpriza de bun venit a fost un coș cu multe snack-uri o sticla de vin si mult altele. A fost o alegere foarte bună datorită locației, camera 101 foarte bună ,patul foarte confortabil și liniște deorece era o stradă pietonală. Totul a fost perfect vom reveni cu mare drag.

Nu am nimic de reproșat.

Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία! Πας στο κέντρο 2-5 λεπτά με τα πόδια και 10 λεπτα στον σταθμό των κτελ. Φιλικό προσωπικό! Καθαρό δωμάτιο και άνετο κρεβάτι και μαξιλάρια. Ήσυχο μέρος παρόλο που είναι και κέντρο. Ψηλοτάβανο δωμάτιο.

Gli appartamenti di Marea hanno tutto l’essenziale, ma quello che di più ho apprezzato è stata l’ospitalità, l’attenzione alle piccole cose (la stanza aveva quelle cose in più che non tutti ormai hanno: accappatoi, teli mare, spazzolini ecc.)e la disponibilità dello staff.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Die Wege zu Restaurants, dem Stadtpark, dem Busbahnhof, etc. Sind alle kurz. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr nett und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer ist schön, das Bett bequem und die Ausstattung modern.

Our third time staying here and we love it! The staff are so lovely and they do everything to make your stay the best. It’s clean, new and great location and n old town.

The location was very convenient, next to the city center, the apartment was excellent, it had everything someone needs and it was very clear. The best part, however, was the personnel. Mrs Maria made me feel at home, she was very kind and helpful and made my stay one of the best I have ever had. If you love handmade stuff, you might have a nice goodbye gift as well!!

A stunning old building transformed with modern capabilities, where every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring an experience of true comfort and accommodation.

Everything was just perfect! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bed, linen, pillows were of the best quality and made for a good night's sleep. There was a lovely selection of snacks/water/coffee/tea etc in the room along with some Raki and wine, such a warm welcome! The location is very central to the Old Town but tucked away so quiet at night. I had my own entrance with a table and chairs outside to enjoy a coffee in the morning! I am planning to return in a couple of months 🙂
