Jammer dat de verlichting in de badkamer automatisch aangaat als je snachts naar de wc gaat. Daar heb ik een klein lampje voor dit ik altijd meeneem. Je bent namelijk gelijk weer wakker midden in de nacht.

Stunning suites, beautifully and comfortably equipped. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was huge and offered plenty of privacy from the rest of the room, and all the windows had mosquito nets. The terrace was spacious, and the hot tub was clean and of excellent quality.

⚠️ There is no parking on the property, but we had no trouble finding parking nearby. ⚠️ One important thing to know: the terrace overlooks one of Rethymno’s main bar and restaurant streets. Bass-heavy music plays well into the night, usually until around 3–4 a.m., and you can still hear it quite clearly with the windows closed. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are definitely a must. ⚠️ There is a flight of rather steep stairs to get to the reception and suites. It’s fine if you are without luggage but with luggage it can be quite difficult especially if you are not young and fit. Just something to consider.

Big room, big comfortable bed, jacuzzi was an unexpected bonus, to be honest. It’s located close to the main entertainment area in the city. Personnel were kind and friendly. A/C made summer nights very comfortable.

Following are just some improvement suggestions. There was only one small trash bucket in the toilet, no place for water bottles or smth like that. Some kind of emergency light was on above the door during the all time, it’s pretty bothering in the night (last photo). Fridge was turned on only with the room card, so some products were spoiled while we were on the beach. Wardrobe is almost useless, you can only hang few T-shirts there. The only really bothering thing is that the only night club on the street is located in the neighbor building.

L’établissement est parfaitement situé nous pouvons ressortir le soir à pied. Chambre très confort et très propre. Tout est automatisé donc très pratique pour une arrivée tardive, système de code très très pratique !

Il est très compliqué de trouver une place de parking lorsqu’on a une voiture, il faut chercher un peu mais rien d’anormal au vu de l’emplacement de l’hôtel sans le centre de la ville.

L'accueil du personnel, la qualité de la chambre, l'intimité, l'emplacement, le petit déjeuner incroyable !

Le lit pourrait avoir un draps un peu plus grand... Mais c'est pour titiller

The accommodation was very modern, stylishly furnished and clean. We especially appreciated the convenient location. The old town was easily reachable on foot and the beach was only about a 10-minute walk away. For guests who want to go swimming at Rethymno’s city beach, the location is therefore very practical – although, in our opinion, there are more beautiful beaches in Crete. Being able to reach many places by walking was something we really appreciated during our stay. The breakfast was à la carte and served at a nearby café rather than directly at the accommodation. This was not immediately clear from the booking information, so it might be helpful to make this more visible for future guests. The breakfast quality itself was good. However, the selection may feel a little limited depending on individual preferences. We also felt that the beverage options could be improved. Only one complimentary drink is included, even though free water is provided. It would have been a nice addition to be able to choose both one hot drink (coffee or tea) AND one cold drink (fresh juice).

Unfortunately, the location also comes with one disadvantage, especially for guests staying in rooms with an outdoor jacuzzi. These rooms face the street and due to the nearby bars, there was loud music every night until at least 3–4 a.m. Even with the windows and exterior doors closed, the bass could still clearly be heard, which may make falling asleep difficult, especially for light sleepers. Sadly, we also had an unpleasant experience with an arranged transfer. During the entire journey, the driver was repeatedly using his phone to write messages and search online – at times even with both hands. This made us feel very unsafe during the drive. We have had several transfers and taxi rides in Crete during different stays and have never experienced anything this reckless before. Even if a driver is familiar with the roads, not paying full attention to the traffic can lead to dangerous situations and puts passengers at unnecessary risk. We decided not to officially report the incident, although such behavior can be heavily penalized in Greece. We informed the team about what had happened and they handled the matter. At least, the driver apologized for his behaviour, which we appreciated. For our return transfer, a different driver was arranged with whom we felt much safer. Despite these points, we had a pleasant stay overall and appreciated the modern design, cleanliness and central location of the accommodation.

La suite avec jacuzzi était vraiment top, la terrasse est très spacieuse. C'est vraiment très bien situé, tout peut se faire à pied. On avait une voiture qu'on a pu garer au parking de la marina. Je recommande

L’emplacement est idéal, pour profiter du centre, de la mer, et des restaurants. Le bain est un vrai plus, literie confortable. Bon rapport qualité prix

Nous avons noté quelques lacunes de propreté dans la partie salle de bain / toilettes

De locatie is top; heel centraal (dat heeft ook een keerzijde, zie hierna). Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Schoonmaak vindt desgewenst dagelijks plaats. De kamer is ruim, de douche erg krachtig, de bedden liggen erg goed. Wij hadden een kamer met jacuzzi op het balkon en dat was heerlijk; uitzicht op palmbomen en heerlijk bubbelen. Het ontbijt was royaal (maar ook daarover is meer te zeggen, zie hierna) Al met al een prima accomodatie.

De centrale locatie betekent ook dat het geluid van de clubs tot diep in de nacht (een keer tot vier uur) te horen is. De ‘barstraat’ bevindt zich recht onder het balkon. Met de luiken en dubbel glas wordt e.e.a. aardig tegengehouden maar de bassen blijven hoorbaar. Sommige gasten slapen met oordopjes vernamen we. En het ontbijt: dat is in een restaurant een klein stukje verderop. Alleen tussen 9.00 en 12.00 uur. Effectief start het pas op om 9.00 dus op zijn vroegst heb je tegen 9.30 ontbijt. Dat neemt een flinke hap uit je dag. Het is wel een erg royaal ontbijt: je kiest van een kaart en kunt daar koffie/thee of jus d’orange bij krijgen. En tot slot: ‘uitzicht op zee’ is meer een uitzicht op een haven en een betonnen dam. De foto’s op internet suggereren dat er strand voor het hotel ligt maar dat is niet het geval, het strand is zo’n 200 meter verderop.

The responsiveness of the staff and the manager was really exceptional. We had a small issue with the bathroom that made a noise and they offered to reimburse one night. Not expected but greatly appreciated. Also the room is extremely nice.

No pool in the hotel, the location is outside of the city center. Our room had a huge jacuzzi inside the room but we only used it once.

La struttura è nel centro della città. Retimo è un ottimo punto per riuscire a girare Creta, in particolare le spiagge del sud meno affollate. Nella camera era presente una jacuzzi e il letto era molto comodo.

Purtroppo (e per fortuna) essendo in centro città la sera c’era musica fino a tardi e durante la notte non era possibile tenere le finestre aperte per il rumore. Finestre ben insonorizzate.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, dans une petite rue charmante et vraiment très proche du port et de l'animation. Le hall d'entrée et la chambre sentaient très bon, tout était propre ! Il y avait un petit balcon aussi très agréable.

L'insonorisation est parfois légère, mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça. Sinon parfait.

Posizione ottima, al limite del centro storico prossima alle spiagge! Ristrutturazione nuova, stanze belle e funzionali. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Reception attiva prevalentemente mattina e primo pomeriggio, accesso comodo con codici.

Tip Top tolles , stilvolle Einrichtung , unkomplizierter check in , sehr freundlich , Ales gut zu erreichen direkt in der Altstadt , toll

Kopfkissen leider sehr hart, man sah von der Promenade und den Lokalen auf unsere Terasse - bisschen blöd wegen der Privatsphäre, besonders wenn man beim Whirpool ein & ausgestiegen ist.

Frokost. Stor ekstra betaling for mer enn drikke. f.eks melk, juice m.m. Lite utvalg/flexibilitet. Resepsjon var ikke døgnåpen. Lang dårlig opp til resepsjonen trapp der man lett slår hodet i taket (mur).

Ωραια τοποθεσία, πολυ όμορφος ο χώρος και πλήρης απο άποψη παροχών. Οι οδηγίες που μας δόθηκαν ηταν πλήρεις ως προς την προσβαση στο χώρο, κάτι που βόλεψε πάρα πολύ δεδομένου ότι κάναμε late check-in. Το δωματιο πολυ όμορφο, ειχε μπουρνούζια, παντόφλες και γενικότερα ολα τα προϊόντα προσωπικής φροντίδας που μπορει να χρειαζόμασταν. Επισης υπήρχε καφετιέρα με κάψουλες για τον πρωινό καφε μας, αν και το δωματιο ηταν τοσο κοντά στην παραλία και τις καφετέριες της πόλης, που προτιμήσαμε να τον πιουμε με θέα θάλασσα.

Ένα αρνητικό που αντιμετωπισαμε ηταν το υδρομασάζ δυστυχως. Ειχε καποια διαρροή και μπαίνοντας στο δωματιο βρήκαμε νερά στο πάτωμα. Τα μαζεψαμε μεν, αλλα εβγαζε συνεχως οποτε απλα αρχισαμε να τα αποφευγουμε αφου δεν ειχε νοημα να τα μαζευουμε συνεχως. Επισης κατι δεν πήγαινε πολυ καλα με τις λειτουργίες του γιατι σε κάποιο κουμπάκι που πατησαμε, σταμάτησε τελείως η λειτουργία του και επανήλθε μονο αφαιρώντας και επανατοποθετωντας την καρτα του δωματίου.

Minor niggles: The area around the sink is a little dark. Could be better lit. No usb sockets by bed. Some hidden away behind kettle. Sunshade very difficult to put up and down- reported so hopefully will now be ok. The outdoor hot tub lid awkward to remove. BEWARE if have difficulty climbing stairs. It is a long steep climb to reception

Es war wirklich alles gut, hervorragende Lage, die Ausstattung und Einrichtung war sehr nett, und wir konnten auch früher einchecken. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt.

Loved the quality and the size of the room.Loved the sea view. It was just like in the pictures! Very polite and helpful staff and it's very clean!

That there is no soundproof. I could hear everything from my room all the converstations every move, every step outside my room even typing the keyboard from the receptionist. Plus the beat from the speakers of the clubs underneath until 3 a.m. are really loud and you can hear them clearly, even with everything shut. I know this is because of the location but they can soundproof better.
