Abella Hotel

Erg vriendelijk personeel.

We had a brilliant two weeks at the Abella. Fantastic location with a spacious and clean room, and we had a beautiful view from our balcony. The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful (a minor issue with our air con was fixed immediately). Although we headed out to the beach every day (which is just across the road), the pool and bar area are great and there are plenty of loungers for those who prefer that to the beach. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was all lovely really - sometimes the walk up the steep drive felt like a challenge, but the pay off is those views!

I only met a few of the staff during my stay but they were all extremely friendly and helpful. The view from my room could only be described as one that you wish for with a great view of the Med. The room was small compared to others that I had stayed in but it had everything that you wish for, so I had no complaints about it at all. Plenty of tavernas and shops very close by.

The steep walk up from the road, but you don’t get the view without it.

Kaikki on juuri niin kuin pitää! Sijainti on täydellinen: lyhyt matka kauppaan, rannalle, bussipysäkille. Omalle autolle on parkkipaikka pihassa, pääsee nopeasti oikeastaan ihan mihin tahansa. Kävelymatkan päässä Plataniaksen vilkkaasta keskustasta. Paikka on hiljainen vaikka onkin aivan keskellä kaikkea. Liikenne eu höiritse lainkaan. Näkymä merelle aivan huikea. Auringon nousu ja lasku näkyivät meidän parvekkeelle. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Paikat ovat aina siistinä. Siivouksesta huolehditaan päivittäin. Allasalueella on jokaiselle sopivia paikkoja niin auringossa kuin varjossakin, riippuen ajankohdasta. Olemme saaneet tästä aivan täydellisen majoituskohteen Kreetan matkoillamme! Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Staff and location were brilliant

Breakfast is a multi-course one, typically Greek consisting of hot and cold elements. You could choose parts from the menu if you wanted to (eating it all would send you back to bed!). Food was cooked perfectly and served with a smile - just what you need.... Hosts, Natalie and Kostas were fantastic. Every concern you thought you may have had was addressed before you opened your mouth to speak. Thus hotel is Hospitality on steroids. Vasso and Eleni (forgive my spelling girls) were so chatty and served us at the bar with such welcoming smiles. Brilliant. The grounds were immaculate. The pool and poolside facilities were first class. The room was perfect with both seaview (sunrises are breathtaking) and pool view which is an option for having your own food outside in the morning. Room service (thanks girls) was perfect. The room was spotless. Restaurants are literally a rwo- minute walk from the hotel as is the up market supermarket All said and done I am delighted to HIGHLY recommend this Hotel. Go. I promise you a perfect stay.

Struttura molto carina, con il grande vantaggio del parcheggio gratuito. Molto piacevole anche la piscina con bar. La camera con vista mare è ben arredata e dotata di tutto il necessario: frigo con freezer, macchina del caffè, tostapane, piastra elettrica per cucinare e stoviglie. Il bagno è piccolo ma ben rifinito, anche se l’illuminazione andrebbe migliorata. Personale estremamente gentile, disponibile e sempre cordiale.

Per cucinare è presente solamente una piastra elettrica e manca un piccolo forno. Sarebbe stato utile avere anche uno strofinaccio in cucina. L’illuminazione del bagno è piuttosto bassa e nella zona doccia risulta davvero molto buio.

L’emplacement est idéal et le lieu est parfait. Les espaces de l’établissement sont vraiment top (piscines jardin). Le service est vraiment super !! Les personnes sont adorables aux petits soins pour aider et le petit dej est hyper agréable autour de la piscine ou sur la terrasse de l’appartement. Nos séjours en Crète seront la bas !

Les salles de bain sont un peu petite mais sinon tout est super !

Le personnel adorable et très accueillant. L’emplacement est idéal avec un arrêt de bus juste en bas pour la Canée. La piscine est un plus agréable. Natalie est adorable.

Spędziliśmy tutaj cudowny czas i z pewnością będziemy bardzo miło wspominać ten pobyt. Z przyjemnością wrócimy ponownie i serdecznie polecamy to miejsce! ❤️

What a lovely hotel run by the most caring, attentive staff. The staff helped us endlessly with transfers to and from the hotel for my daughters wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are clean as well as the pool area, serving a wonderful breakfast big enough for 2!! We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et notre chambre était propre à notre arrivée. L’équipement est cependant assez sommaire et ne permet pas vraiment de cuisiner confortablement. La literie mériterait également d’être renouvelée : l’un des deux matelas qui composait notre lit était particulièrement inconfortable. En revanche, l’espace extérieur et la piscine sont très agréables, et la présence d’un vrai espace extérieur est un véritable plus. L’emplacement est également idéal, très central, ce qui permet de faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Un espace avec une machine à laver serait également appréciable et constituerait un vrai plus pour les séjours de plusieurs jours. Malgré ces quelques points à améliorer, nous recommandons tout de même cet hôtel pour son accueil, son emplacement et ses extérieurs.

The hotel is located on a small hill along the main coast road. The position is ideal to explore Agia Marina by feet, without being annoyed by traffic at night. The room was good, it had a nice balcony facing the sea. The kitchen is basic, we haven't used it but it has all it's needed to eat at home. Beds were comfortable, our towels and sheets were super clean and changed regularly during our stay. Both the room and kitchen are provided with A/C. The pool is super, we really enjoyed it during our stay. There's a pool bar where you can have breakfast, or snacks all day long. All staff was super friendly and provided us useful info (and free beach umbrellas!) to move around the island.

If I really had to find something I didn't like, I'd say the bathroom is a bit small compared to the room, and the shower curtain doesn't make it easy to use. A glass shower would probably be more practical.

La gentillesse du personnel, la piscine, place de parc.

Confort des lits, salle-de-bain très petite, sans rideau de douche. Appartement louer pour loger jusqu’à 5 personnes. Nous étions 4 adultes et un des lits était plutôt un canapé. Une personne de plus de 180 peut difficilement s’étendre. Nous avons demandé où se trouve le 5 ème lit, il semble que le fauteuil une place dans la pièce peut faire office de fauteuil.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans cet hôtel à taille humaine. Les chambres sont très propres, grandes et les lits confortables. La piscine est grande et très agréable. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé, tout est accessible à pieds (plage, restaurants, boutiques…) Merci pour votre accueil!

Great location. Comfortable apartment. Exceptionally helpful staff who went above and beyond to help us. Lovely pool area with lots of sunbeds and a great bar. Across the road from the beach and lots of restaurants and bars and shops on the doorstep.

Would have liked more cooking facilities in the kitchenette. A bit tricky to cook for a family with one small stove top.

We had a really lovely stay here the staff we're very friendly and made is very welcome, great cocktails and coffee round the pool which was clean , plenty of sun loungers and shades . Our apartment was modern , clean, very comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The area is lovely lots of restaurants and fab beach bars ! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again

The hill wasn't a problem it's not really that steep takes minutes too, I would of liked some lighter breakfast options available like croissants or toast and jam and some ice creams , crisps or ice lollys to buy from the pool bar , apart from that was perfect !!

L’hotel si trova in zona centrale e ha una piscina aperta fino a tardi. Le camere sono mini appartamenti dotati di cucina, frigo e utensili. Il letto è comodo e molto spazioso.

Il bagno è molto piccolo e non vengono cambiati i prodotti nel caso in cui si esauriscono.

Personalen var sueprtrevlig. Lugnt ställe. Nära till Agia marina men vi gillade inte den stranden då det är väldigt kallt och mycket vågor. Istället körde vi agii apostoli Beach. Då tog vi bussen dit. Men väldigt bra boende, riktigt prisvärt. Har betalat mer för andra hotell som vart sämre än detta. Poolen var bra. Men specifikt så tycker jag personalen var perfekt, inte för påträngande men när man pratade med dom var dom supertrevliga, glada och hjälpsamma.

Fanns ingen frukostbuffe. Man kunde beställa frukost men det var för 125 kronor typ och då fick man inte så mycket gott.

Rent, fräscht och trevlig personal. Lugnt och skönt vid poolen fanns alltid solstolar, ingen trängsel. Mysig liten poolbar som serverade frukost. Nära till stranden, restauranger och ett stort supermarket.

Το σημείο είναι ιδανικό για τις παραλίες της Αγίας Μαρίνας , το δωμάτιο ήτανε πολύ μεγάλο και το προσωπικό τρομερά ευγενικό. Η πισίνα ήτανε πολύ ωραία και καθαρή και είχε και μια παιδική ιδανική για να παίζουν να παιδιά . Το ξενοδοχείο αν και είναι σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο είχε μια πολύ ωραία ησυχία ιδανική για διαμινή

Very peaceful and comfortable experience. No fighting for sunbeds, pool area gorgeous and amazing staff, couldn't fault anything. Location perfect, gorgeous beach over the road, 5 minute walk with lovely beach bars. Bus stop to Chania right outside the hotel. Highly recommend.

Slope up to hotel might be too much for anyone with walking difficulties but easy enough to get taxis.

A szállás minden várakozásunkat felülmúlta. Tudtuk, hogy a szálláson nincs mosógép és a képeken lehetett látni, hogy a konyha szerény felszereltségű, ezért így készültünk. Ugyanakkor a tenger egy karnyújtásnyira, ami kristálytiszta és homokos, a szállás tiszta, napi szinten takarítanak, a medence szuper, a személyszet pedig nagyon kedves és segítőkész. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom ezt a szállást!

Polecam zarówno Agia Marine jak i sam hotel. Bardzo przyjemny, tutaj faktycznie można wypocząć. Obsługa bardzo mila i pomocna. W pobliżu wszystko co potrzeba sklepiki , fajne tawerny przystanek autobusowy KTEL (w strone Chani lub Kalimbari) Dla tych co nie chcą wypożyczać samochodu parę informacji: bilet do Chani koszt 2,2Eur. Autobusy jeżdzą ok. co 20min. W czasie pobytu po 15 czerwca bilety bez problemu kupuje się w autobusie. Jest obsługa która podchodzi do wsiadających. Z Chani mozna podjechać do Rythemno (autobusy jeżdza co godzinę - koszt ok 6,80 Eur) Rythemno warto odwiedzić. Bez problemów można też skorzystać z wycieczek również z polskim pilotem/przewodnikiem. Koszt Taxi z lotniska 40Eur (zamowic mozna w hotelu)

Koselig og lite hotell. Fantastisk beliggenhet! Sentralt, men samtid tilbaketrukket med nærhet til alt!!Nydelige, rene rom med sjøutsikt. Og bassenget er helt supert med mange solsenger!!de ansatte er utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme og gjør alt for at du skal ha det best mulig!!

Internettet er fortsatt alt for dårlig på rommene. Umulig å bruke. Dette burde bli fikset.

Jag älskar allt med det här hotellet. Ligger bra, ägaren med personal är supertrevliga, serviceminded deluxe och det känns familjärt. Rummen är moderna och städningen perfekt. Det har en fantastisk pool area och nära till stranden.

Finns ingenting att klaga på. Det ligger på en höjd så det är en brant backe för att komma upp till hotellet, kan vara bra att känna till.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour tout était parfait, nous somme super bien placé à proximité de tout (resto, plage, bus)!

De är en jättemysig stämning, familjärt. Allt är toppen! Det är tredje året vi är här och vi kommer tillbaka nästa år igen. Nathalie och Kostas är så välkomnande och vänliga, bästa!

The location was perfect however if you don’t have a car, you will need to walk up a steep hill. Relaxing atmosphere and good for toddlers as they have a small pool.

It was very noisy on the first night (Sunday) however the rest of the days were quite so I would avoid weekends for this place.

The staff were so lovely and kind. Only one night but felt safe and well looked after. Would go back.

Suihkutilassa olisi saanut olla verho tai seinä, ettei lattia olisi kastunut. Lasta olisi myös auttanut asiaan. Lattia ja keittiöpyyhkeitä olisi saanut olla muutamat. Matkaseurueessa kaikki eivät pitäneet siitä, että hotelli on melko jyrkän mäen päällä. Laukkujen kanssa kannattaa tulla taksilla.

Emplacement parfait ! Le cadre, la chambre vue mer et la piscine étaient très agréables et le personnel adorable.
