Je recommande 💯
Rien, pour moi tout était vraiment super !! Il faut juste signaler que c'est en haut d'une petite route étroite et raide (donc compliqué d'accès avec une grosse voiture)

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Guesthouse Kastelia was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. The room was small but well equipped, perfect for our 2-night stay. The owner, Nikos, was very helpful, answering all our questions and even calling us a taxi. We would definitely stay here again. Just a note: it is not in the actual town of Kalambaka, but rather in Kastraki, which we enjoyed.
If we had stayed longer, we would have booked a larger room.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026We spent 3 nights in the location. The appartment was spacious and clean. We made our own breakfast which was perfectly possible with the kitchen equipment that was provided.
The appartment was rather functional (which is good ofcourse) than cosy. We would recommend to give it a bit more love.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Guesthouse Kastelia could not have been any more perfect for our trip to Meteora. The location is so close to the rocks you can almost touch them. The room was spacious, modern and impeccably clean. The facilities were excellent and the host was super warm and friendly.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Very clean and modern. Smooth check-in experience and friendly owner. Everything in working order. I especially liked the fact that there's a parking spot just outside the gate. The climb up there might be difficult for an unexperienced driver or a large car so please check on maps the access route.
I would have liked for the sofa to be prepared for sleeping of 2 as there were 4 of us in the booking. But it was a 2 minute job so it's just a minor discomfort.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Уютный дом с внутренним дворником, по вечерам приятная тишина после шумных городов идеально отдыхается. Николас, хозяин,очень приятный человек, живёт поблизости. В номере было все самое необходимое, даже кофе, чай и сахар. Удобно идти основные маршруты по Метеорам, рядом несколько хороших таверн, вайфай хорошо работал
Из Каламбаки до Кастраки можно доехать только на такси, ну или идти пешком

Sehr ruhig, gutes Bett, Ausstattung der kleinen Kochnische mit Wasserkocher, Sandwich-Maker und Toaster komfortabel, sympathischer Vermieter, freundliche ältere Dame, die uns mit Pfirsichen und Schlangengurke versorgte: alles supergut! Gerne wieder!

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Eine schöne private Pension in einem besonderen Ort mit tollem Charme. Von hier aus konnten wir direkt unsere Wanderungen zu den Meteora Klöstern starten. Es gibt sehr schöne Einkehrmöglichkeiten in dem lebendigem Dorf Kastraki. Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Zeit.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Ich kann die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen! Tolle Lage in Kastraki am Fuße der Felsen! Von der Terrasse genießt man den Sonnenuntergang und Tavernen und das Dorfleben ist problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Rückweg ist etwas steil, das es am Hang liegt. Die sehr nette alte Dame, die unten wohnt, hat uns Tomaten, Gurken usw. geschenkt. Zu den Klostern ist es 10 Minuten mit dem Auto!
Alles war toll!

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Everything perfect :) There is a parking spot in front of the building, but if you are scared to go up the hill, you can park your car in free parking down the street (around 6 cars fit, 3 minutes walk). Very comfortable room with bathroom, little kitchen and AC. Close to many restaurants and of course to Meteora.

C'è tutto per preparare una colazione o un pranzetto, phon, doccia e accessori bagno completi e di buona qualità. Da non dimenticare...la Signora che abita lì ( credo la madre del proprietario) ci ha rifornito anche di ciliege appena colte. Taverne e ristoranti molto vicine (5 minuti a piedi) e parcheggio davanti a casa. Circondato dalle meteore e sulla strada per i monasteri. Paese molto carino da girare a piedi.

We were 4 people and the sleeping couch wasn’t too comfortable. Also some of the towels didn’t have the best smell.
