Great location. Friendly staff. Great parking. Wonderful breakfast included. Fancy and very clean and tidy room and ensuite.

It was a bit pricey for a quick 1 x night stay but probably on par with pricing in Tropea and also as only single night stay.

A reggeli mennyei volt! A reggelinél a kiszolgáló személyzet tündéri! A hotel elhelyezkedése kiváló, félúton a vasútállomás és a városközpont/tengerpart között. A szoba tiszta, az ágy hatalmas és kényelmes.

Emplacement idéal proche de tout . Personnel agréable, chambre moderne, confortable et bien équipée. Propreté impeccable et petit déjeuner parfait avec le Buongiorno de Francesca. Parking disponible.

Trovo che certe informazioni sulla pagina non corrispondano alla verità o sono fuorvianti. Per esempio il parcheggio è a pagamento ma è un’informazione che non si evince facilmente. Anche l’orario della reception è ridotto rispetto a quanto definito su Booking. Lenzuola con delle macchie e frigo con uno scaffale rotto. In un hotel con questo costo sono importanti anche questi dettagli

The hotel itself is absolutely fantastic clean, close to everything, walk to the beach, the city centre. The staff from the front desk , the ladies in the kitchen who make the breakfast every morning to the ladies that clean the rooms, are all absolutely fantastic they are all really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and give it 10/10

The whole experience was wonderful, in the centre and near the beach! Perfect location. The hotel was beyond expectations.

I wanted to treat myself and booked a suite at this hotel for my stay in Tropea. Naturally, I stayed there very comfortably, actually luxuriously. The suite consisted of a bedroom (with a double bed), a living room, a bathroom, and a small entrance hall. There was also a terrace with a drying rack. View of the sea (in the distance). Furthermore, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a minibar were available. Well-functioning air conditioning. All areas were very neat, sufficiently spacious, and comfortable. A special mention goes to the very friendly ladies at the reception who answered every question immediately and solved any minor issues right away. They also spoke fluent English. Extensive choices at the buffet breakfast. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly (only Italian-speaking, but that wasn't a problem). Every room had its assigned spot in the breakfast room for the duration of the stay. The suite was cleaned every day. Hotel location: within walking distance of the train station, the sea, and many restaurants. Please note that Tropea is very popular, including with foreign tourists. Book well in advance. This hotel is highly recommended.

Perfektné ubytovanie v srdci Tropea. Pešia dostupnosť do centra aj na pláž. Krásne čisté izby, moderne zariadené, skutočne milý personál, ktorý bol nápomocný a ústretový v každom smere. V deň odchodu sme potrebovali skoré raňajky až hodinu skôr než majú zvyčajne. Bez problémov nám pripravili raňajky a boli naozaj bohaté. Skutočne výnimočný pobyt s úžasnými ľudmi.

Das Solmaris Tropea liegt nur ein paar Minuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind groß, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber! Das Frühstück war prima - aus unserer Sicht fehlte nichts, sogar der Kuchen wurde in der einsehbaren Küche vom Küchenteam frisch und mit Liebe gebacken. Elisabetta und Ihr Team waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle wesentlichen Informationen kamen bereits vor Anreise auf‘s Handy. Aufgrund unseres sehr frühen Fluges waren wir deutlich vor dem Check-in im Hotel, trotzdem konnten wir bereits ein Zimmer beziehen - Kosten wurden hierfür nicht berechnet!

This was one of my favorite properties from Booking we’ve stayed at so far - the location is perfectly between the beach and the old town, the facilities were spotless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Not so much a dislike, but the parking is definitely tight to maneuver around but secure and covered. If you have a bigger car it might be an issue.

Rewelacyjny hotel w świetnej lokalizacji - kilka minut od plaży i od ścisłego centrum. Dostępny parking za opłatą . Pokoje ładnie urządzone, nowoczesne i bardzo przestronne . Chętnie ponownie odwiedzimy to miejsce !

Modern, clean and sizeable rooms. Breakfast was fantastic with home cooked food each day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Always available to answer questions on WhatsApp.

Nähe zum Zentrum und Restaurants. Konnten aufs Auto verzichten. Sehr freundlichrs und hilfsbereites Personal.

Zu kleiner Kühlschrank. Wir konnten keine grosse Flasche Wasser hineinstellen. Sehr enge Einstellhalle für unser Auto (Defender 2021).

It actually is a beautiful hotel, but it is definitely not in it’s best shape anymore. A renovation and modernization would be needed in my eyes. Even the phone and the hairdryer in the room was from the 80s. But probably they don’t need it, as the location and the facilities (pool, parking, gym) are great. For the price I simply would have expected more.

We were very excited to be in Tropea, but were surprised when we arrived. First of all, I had made a mistake and had only made the reservation for one person instead of two. My mistake, but then they proceeded to charge me 30€ a night. Ok, lesson learned, We then told that we had assigned tables at breakfast and the next morning I felt like I was back in elementary school having to sit at our assigned tables. When we asked about how to get to the beach the next day and if they had towels, the receptionist told us that we could ask for the towels before leaving for the beach. The next morning we were told we would be charged $5 for each towel, because they need to wash them. We walked down the street and bought one for $8€ since we were there for 3 days. The room was nice, but there's one light hanging over the sink there is a lot of street noise and the television didn't work. The upside was they recommended a nice beach club that gave us a good rate because we were at the hotel. The beach club is called Lido Isola Bella and has a very good restaurant with reasonable prices.

Schönes und sauberes Zimmer mit gut funktionierender Aircondition. Sehr nettes Hotelpersonal. Das Frühstück war auch reichhaltig. Hotel liegt gleich am Rande der Altstadt und der Strand war auch schnell zu erreichen.

L’accueil est excellent, l’établissement est récent , la plage et le centre se font à pied. Le petit déjeuner est parfait et le parking est un plus.

A charming and beautifully maintained boutique hotel with an excellent location. It is only a few minutes’ walk from both the historic center and the beach, which makes it very convenient. Despite being close to everything, the area remains quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest points. The city center can be reached in about five minutes on foot, and the beach is equally close. It offers the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility, away from the busiest and noisiest areas.

The breakfast selection was quite limited and repetitive, especially during a longer stay. Another drawback was the lack of a restaurant or bar service in the evening. Breakfast ends in the morning, and afterward there are no food or drink options available within the hotel. The room amenities could also be improved. While the rooms were clean and functional, the toiletries provided were rather basic, both in quality and quantity.

We had a wonderful stay at Solmaris Tropea and would happily recommend it to others. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and, without a doubt, one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Our room was modern, spacious, and very well maintained, with a large bathroom and incredibly comfortable beds. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and we always returned to a spotless room. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was fantastic. There was a great selection each morning, and the offerings changed slightly from day to day, which was a nice touch. The location is also excellent. It is about a 7 minute walk to the beach and only about 4 minutes from the main square, making it easy to explore Tropea on foot. There were a few downsides that kept this from being a 5 star stay. The hotel does not have a gym, which would have been a nice amenity. We also found the assigned seating at breakfast a bit strange. We were assigned the same table each day based on our room, which felt unnecessary and a little uncomfortable from a privacy perspective. The hotel can also be quite noisy. It sits on a street corner, and motorcycles could often be heard late into the evening. While that is not the hotel's fault, providing earplugs in the rooms would be a thoughtful addition. We could also hear dishes and cutlery being moved around in the breakfast area from our room early in the morning. Overall, however, this is a fantastic hotel. The cleanliness, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and convenient location far outweighed the negatives. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location - easy walk to all the sights. Really good breakfast and the small size of the hotel meant it was never too busy at the buffet. Reception staff spoke good English and were able to provide good advice and suggestions.

Great service from the moment we stepped in. Clean and great breakfast prepared by lovely friendly ladies. Quiet area not far from anywhere and deli/supermarket across the road. And a bit of a view of the ocean. Rooftop for good photos.

From here welcome, to her smile every day, restaurant recommendations, restaurants reservations, etc. The room/ suite was so spacious and comfortable. Amazing location just minutes from the center. The breakfast and the ladies there were also incredibly friendly and helpful

We drove 6 hours and arrived for check in to be told they had changed reservation systems and lost our reservation. They called a hotel further out of town and we ended up staying there at a 30% price increase for a much lower quality room

The property was beautiful, well maintained😄. The rooftop was on the 4th floor. Tables, chairs with large umbrella, lounge chairs and a jacuzzi (unfortunately wasn’t working)

Muy bien ubicado, limpio y buen desayuno. Parking en el hotel se reserva y se paga aparte. Puedes encontrar parking gratis en las inmediaciones si no vas en temporada.

No estaba la recepción el día que llegamos, tiene horario limitado, pero te dan códigos para abrir las puertas.

Ein sehr schönes neues Hotel nicht weit von der Altstadt. Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück gute Auswahl und fehlte etwas die Brotauswahl. Es hatte viel mehr Süssgebäck als Brotsuswahl. In der Altstadt viele Restaurants mit guter italienischer Küche. An die Beach muss man ca. 100Treppen hinunterlaufen oder man nimmt ein Taxi allerdings 20Euro pro Weg. Jetzt im Mai haben wir nur 15Euro bezahlt für 2Liegestühle und 1 Sonnenschirm. Im Hochsommer wird es einiges teurer und das auch je nach Beachclub.

Man erreicht die Altstadt mit einem 5-Minuten Spaziergang, also kein Bedarf, das Auto zu nutzen. Die Managerin-On-Duty am 8. Mai hat eine schwierige Situation souverän beherrscht, danke dafür! Das Zimmer was geräumig, bequem und unfehlbar sauber. Die Wahl am Frühstück enthält typische lokale Produkte: sehr empfehlenswert.

Jedes Zimmer hat einen gebuchten Tisch fürs Frühstück; das sollte so bleiben.
