Tomar un café viendo el macizo del Paine a través de la gran cristalera de la zona principal, es inolvidable. Gran amabilidad del personal. Ambiente tranquilo, cuasi-familiar.... Nuestra habitación doble de cama grande era muy amplia. Desayuno correcto. Precio correcto en relación al exagerado nivel de precios existente en la zona. En general, regresaría a este establecimiento
El colchón de la cama es claramente mejorable y tal vez el baño requeriría alguna mejora igualmente. Un aspecto que futuros viajeros tienen que conocer de antemano es que en el hotel no sirven cenas. Cuando estuvimos en Villa Serrano solo daban cenas en 2 sitios. Uno es el hotel Río Serrano que está justo enfrente y otro es en el restaurante Pampa Lodge. El primero siempre estuvo lleno y el segundo sí que tenía sitio pero ojo en temporada alta (reservar!). A considerar que cenar aquí es caro. Bueno, todo es muy caro en Torres del Paine. Para nosotros no fue un problema pero hay que considerar que esta Hostería se encuentra como a 54 kilómetros (1h40m) del punto de arranque del famoso trekking a la laguna base de Torres del Paine

Heftig teuer für die Qualität der Unterkunft. Man nutzt leider aus, dass es kaum Unterkünfte gibt. Gleiche Qualität bekommt man sonst in Argentinien für 50% weniger.

Toilet was very slightly old. Would have loved a kettle in the room or some hooks! A shame that the weather was slightly dreadful for our one night stay there otherwise would have enjoyed a nice little gander in the morning.

There is no restaurant. It's not that I didn't like that...but it's just worth noting. You can eat across the street at the Villa Serrano. Book for an early slot..to beat the bus crowds.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026The great pluses were the very friendly staff (one speaking English), the amazing view (sunsets are gorgeous), the breakfast (home-made cakes and juices) and the atmosphere (very nice music and common space).
The room looked weary, one bed was not flat, my Gf had to use the blanket as stopper in order not to slide :)). It definitely needs renovation and some nice, cozy decoration. The heat stops during night and starts in the morning (like 7-10) which didnt make much sense. The price was super high for what we got, but that's all over Torres del Paine area. It's very frustrating to pay a price for a 4 star hotel and get an oldish cottage room instead, but still it was the nicest place we stayed in that area for that price.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026I know that there have been a lot of mixed reviews of this place, particularly with reference to the staff. That was certainly not our experience. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is basic but good and they even laid out a breakfast for us one morning when we had to leave before the restaurant opened. The location has a great view and the price, while expensive, is reasonable for the area. Some expectations to set: the power is iffy and also goes out at night for a few hours so if you need overnight power (e.g. for a CPAP machine), then that is an issue. There is no WiFi in the rooms but we lucked out in room 21 as it was close enough to the dining area to get a signal (of course only when there is power). The heating hours are limited, going out at around 2300 to midnight until early in the morning. But, go into it knowing all that you the stay is good. Or you can pay at least three times or more and stay in a fancier place.
As noted above, you have to go into this place with different expectations.

It feels like you enter your grandmothers room. :) The breakfast is basic but sufficient. There is no dinner but they have drinks. Location is also perfectly fine just 5 min driving from the entrance of the Torres del Paine gates. We booked two night two seperate rooms because there was no availability and they were kind enough to move our luggages while they cleaned out the rooms.

E faltou disposição para atender um pedido de ovo frito, ao invés de ovos mexidos. Salada de fruta com abacaxi passado. Poucas opções no café da manhã.
Cafe da manhã e flexibilidade da hosteria para atender pedidos. O chuveiro é péssimo. Muito fraco. Mal dava para lavar o cabelo. Sei que fica distante de tudo, mas pelo valor cobrado, acredito que eles precisem melhorar muitas coisas. Andei muito na região, e há opções de hospedagem com melhor custo benéfico.

Nic mnie nie zaskoczyło. Za tę cenę w takim punkcie z przepięknym widokiem było super.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025A great location just outside the park. The hosteria feels quaint and homely. We found our room to be clean and the bed was comfortable. We were leaving early to go hiking and so an early breakfast was set up for us - bread, cheese, ham, pastries, tea and coffee. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There have been some poor reviews of this place which seem unfair. We had a great stay here.
