Modern, clean and central location

The walls seem too be too thin i could hear my neighbour turning on the water to shower. Neighbours where noisy and did not respect other people My room window had no handles had to call the handy man to come close it 😩

The list is too long to put into words. I got a room that was the opposite of what was advertised, I even felt scared in that unit. But the front desk lady managed to move us to another unit. It was still not what I saw on Bookings.com but better than the first unit. Towels are worn out, thin and dull. The duvet was so scratchy, each time you turn it makes a noise. No interior decor, there’s a little kitchen with the basics, white bed, two white pillows, a table and couch with a TV. It was uncomfortable and so disappointing.

Comfortable rooms, great value. Very nice rooftop restaurant and bar. Great location 90 seconds from Sandton Square. Friendly staff

a quieter location away from lifts and restaurant entry/exit would have been better. 2 bed unit not described correctly on booking.com - they are two bed/1 bath not 2 bed/2 bath as described, but resolved quickly with swap to 2 rooms

Horrible experience. Got booked into a room that was not well maintained, had stains and not properly cleaned we wanted to check out literally an hour after checking in and we were told that they will move us to a better room which it was. However, upon moving we forgot our crossbody bag in the other apartment and no one was checking into that apartment but still we only got a knock from one of the housekeeping ladies at past 7pm literally 5 hours later after moving, that we left the bag in the other room. The bag had cash and was in short of R500, till this day they are still “investigating”. Make sure you take care of your belongings when you go there!

The location was good.

I was first given a room on the 7th floor that the door didn't lock properly. I asked to move rooms which was granted. I had to wait 40minutes to get an iron in the morning which made me late for my meeting. When housekeeping was done cleaning on the first day they didn't leave a clean towel.

It was centrally located, had easy parking, the reception was nice, it was clean. Reception and security staff were friendly.

The building was very institutional, walking to the room felt like going through a prison. The room was fine, but there was no décor (pictures) on the walls, making it feel very sparse and basic. We kept having to ask for enough towels, every day we would come back to find one towel on the bed when there were two of us staying there. The cleaning staff were particularly unfriendly, but the reception staff were lovely and efficient.

Повелась на хорошие отзывы и пожалела 😭 Я выбирала номер 38м2. Нас заселили в комнату 3х4м (с большой лоджией с голубиным пометом). На вопрос «но я же бронировала апартаменты больше» просто хлопали глазами и говорили «все забронировано, ничем не можем помочь 👁️👄👁️». Переселяться в другой отель уже не было сил. Дали один ключ-карту и одно полотенце на двоих. Вторую карту принесли вечером, полотенца только на следующий день. Постельное в пятнах. Полотенца с запахом. В номере был запах сигарет.

Les chambres très propres avec les equipements qu'il faut. La localisation est top et j'ai aussi aimé le restaurant chaleureux avec des plats copieux.

Close to Sandton City Mall, nice aesthetically and comfortable. Good value for money

Nous avons du demander à plusieurs reprises de nous fournir des essuies. On devait attendre que les précédents soit propres.

The service, reception, 2 hours for getting the towels for the guests and 3 hours later never got the hairdryer because they gave it to someone else in between

The place is located in a great place within proximity to the Gautrain station adn Sandton Mall. The Public transport is easily accessible and the facility accommodates both Business and Leisure travel.

The management of the noise in the alleys at night can be improved upon. Also, because the facility is in Sandton, there is overnight noise from the general traffic outside. There are also broken tiles in the bathroom and the sitting area that shouldn't be there in a facility of this standard

great location with 24 hour reception and the bar and restaurant on the 2nd floor. The food is delicious!!

The constant shortage of towels. There were 2 guests to my room. When maid service came, they took 2 sets of towels but would only leave one set. There are no sharp knives for peeling an apple or cutting ginger for your tea.

Always stay at the Blackbrick, the staff are the best. Always go above & beyond to help make my stay the best.

The sofa’s are not very useful.

Clean, restaurant had easy selection to choose from with a spacious seating areas. Helpful staff. Secure property.

The rooms too small. Steps steep. The room had areas where water damage wasn’t repaired well. In general areas, broken tiles.

The breakfast was generally good. A bit slow on one of the days (probably and understandably, due to a huge volume of guests).

Late replacement of towels on one of the days. The hotel could improve by providing lotion to guests. Even a very small bottle.

Downgraded to a ground floor room with a lot of noise from the people upstairs. Pillows very soft and only 1 per person. Bathroom very small with showerhead to low and very cramped.

The standard has dropped from the last time I was there. Lamp lights were not working unless you kept pressing with the Tape that was holding it. The toilet thing that makes noise when you turn on the bathroom light was releasing air which seemed like someone was smoking. And the cleaning team weren’t cleaning throughly, the windows were visibly dirty. Plus power cuts

The room was clean. Beddings were good. Breakfast was also good

The corridors leading to the rooms look like hostels. Doesn’t give hotel ambience. Lights went out during our stay and it was pitch black

Junk in the parking garage (2nd floor) Noisy doors to the lift area - when people are walking through there at night it disrupts sleeping people. And on the second night there was an alarm going off during early hours of the morning. The bed was waaaay too soft.

Établissement très propre. Les travailleurs sont très très serviables et sympathiques. Et surtout honnêtes.je recommanderai cet établissement avec plaisir ! Le parfum dans les parties communes sont très inspirant

The location and the presentation of the reception area were both excellent.

The layers of the apartment was ridiculous with the bedroom having no direct ventilation and the bathroom door only capable of sliding halfway open. I booked for three nights that only stayed for two because the electricity wasn’t operational as with the Wi-Fi for a good part of two of those days. During that time the corridors were pitch black as with the for escape stairs. No emergency lighting. It’s questionable that this means the file regulations. I looked for a refund for the night I wasn’t staying there and was denied.

Service and space functionality. It doesn't feel homely if one is looking for comfort. Not worth the money paid compared to other apartments in the area.

Room was next to cocktail bar - noisy until midnight. Property description lists kitchenware when only knives, forks and spoons were provided. Not basic kitchenware such as pot, pan, salad bowel, dishwashing sponge or egg lifter provided.

This time I was in a room right next to artistry which was holding a party. Very loud. Your team should take this into account. Also we had the linen issue where you did not have linen when I checked in. Finally, the safe in the room didn't work. I think the last couple of rooms the safe has not worked.

The breakfast was so amazing, possibly the best part of the trip. The room had all you'd need to have a comfy stay for a few days. I also didn't use my car the whole weekend. We just walked everywhere

The only things I could say were missing were maybe a mirror in the room for when I'm doing my hair or makeup, and a shower caddy and cup on the sink to hold my toiletries.

I liked the quietness of the place,refreshing & comfortable.

I did not like the power cut during the day of checkout,could not have coffee due to that.

The room was not clean and on the second Night - no towels.

C’est propre, mais l’idée de passer chaque jour récupérer un voucher a la reception pour accéder au petit déjeuner est à revoir. Pas de tapis dans la chambre en descendant du lit.

The customer service could be significantly improved. There was only one bath towel provided despite having two guests, considerable staff noise early in the morning, and, most concerning, a staff member opened our room door while we were sleeping. Overall, the service felt inattentive and lacked empathy and respect for guest privacy.

We arrived at 15:10pm for check in and our room was still not ready although it stated that check in is from 14:00pm and we also stated that we would be arrived at between 13:00pm and 14:00pm. Considering the fact that we had been travelling for hours it really set a terrible tone to the beginning of our trip.

Close proximity to the Sandton International Convention Centre and the mall.

The access pad for floor 1 was constantly buggy. Sometimes it couldn't open.

The breakfast was delicious,I can't get over it . The frontdesk staff was very welcoming and patient.

Good location (safe area and close to mall), new installation, and kind/flexible staff. We could make an earlier check-in and kept our luggage in the luggage room.

The pillows in the room weren’t clean, they was no extra blanket. You need a better sign outside, i passed by the location 4 times because i couldn’t seen the sign.

They have a restaurant and also a coffee shop by the reception at an affordable price.

The extractor fan in bathroom very loud I couldn't access my allocated room so got offered an alternative ground floor room The flat needs to be modernised with different furniture

The room was spacious and clean, decent shower and toilet. Comfortable bed and not alot of noise pollution.

Housekeeping did not come every day,i stayed 5 nights and they came twice. I had to go to reception everymorning for a voucher before going to breakfast. Only 2 pillows and the ones in the cupboard did not have cases to sleep on. The safe did not work and the instructions were non existant. The extractor fan for the stove does not work, you basically just full up the place with smoke. Theres no pots/pans to use or instructions that you need to request for it from reception. It was just small inconveniences, overall I would still stay there again because its a really decent place.

Originally had booked 'with Garden view'. Got disappointed that the 'garden' was made with artifical turf and had a brick wall around it (blocking out natural sorroundings). Had thought the garden would be a natural garden.
