Everything was worn out, especially washroom was terrible.

Water could have been more consistently hot. Sometimes it was just warm, at other times hot.

Ruhige Lage und sehr gutes chinesisches Restaurant welches vom gleichen Betreiber direkt neben dran ist. Parkplätze auch für größere Fahrzeuge ausreichend vorhanden. Freundliches Personal

Walls are really thin, we could hear our extremely loud drunk neighbours at 1 in the morning. We booked 2 rooms and one of them didn’t have carpet so it didn’t smell like smoke but the other had a tiny bit of smoke smell and cleaning solution smell that seemed to be stuck in the carpet.

I reserved and purchased a room with two queen beds. I was given a room with only one bed and told there was no option to move rooms. Completely ruined our stay. Rooms were old, smelled of smoke, and the linens were not comfortable. Would like to be refunded for the experience.

Thin walls and room was warm, no air, fan was pretty loud.

At check-in, I was told that I would have to stay at another motel with which they partner. The other motel, the Kluane Motel, knew nothing of my arrival, but had a room available. It was simple, comfortable and clean. A good bed and shower. I was satisfied in the end.

We showed up late at night and checked out before open and the process was so easy. Everything was clean and organized. Loved staying here. Would choose again.

La struttura necessiterebbe di una pulizia molto profonda e di una ristrutturazione. Anche se le lenzuola e gli asciugamani erano abbastanza puliti, il pavimento di moquette e le poltroncine erano piene di macchie e il lavandino arrugginito. La stanza era impregnata di odore di fumo. In generale c’era l’impressione di un ambiente sporco e poco accogliente.

Schmutzig und staubig. Für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder gebucht: Zimmer war nicht mal vorbereitet. Die Schlafcouch war gefühlt aus 1970 und wir mussten uns das nötige Bettzeug dann selbst an der Rezeption holen. Zumindest hat es uns die Hausdame bezogen aber die Schlafcouch war außerdem unten drin defekt: Ausgerissen und beschädigt. Die Matratze dermaßen schlecht und alt - 2 schlechte Nächte für die Kinder. Zimmer hat extrem nach Rauch gestunken obwohl die Bestätigung ein Nichtraucher-Zeichen draufhatte. Beim Check-in wurden wir gefragt ob wir mit Tieren reisen. Natürlich nicht! Aber wir vermuten dass in dem Zimmer sicherlich ein Hund kurz vorher war.

Restaurant (Lucky dragon) closes early, like at 8 pm. A slight tobacco smell in some rooms and certains beds were not as comfy. Overall good experience

We arrived late and the owner made sure we could get into our rooms. She also made us a fantastic chinese meal after her restaurant was closed which we really appreciated. The rooms were nice and clean.

The outside could do with a smarten up.

The coffee maker didn’t have proper sized coffee pouches and the key was very difficult to put in the lock to unlock the door.

The second bed was a fold out couch in terrible shape, should be thrown out. Chilly outside and no heat in the room

20 min. nach Buchung bat mich das Hotel, die Buchung zu stornieren - es sei ein Fehler gewesen. Wieso muss der Gast den Buchungsfehler korrigieren?!? Es war schlechtes Wetter und wir standen mit zwei Fahrrädern quasi vor dem Hotel. Auf Fragen von mir wurde nicht schriftlich geantwortet, telefonisch war niemand erreichbar. Es wurde keine Lösung für diese misslichen Lage angeboten.

Easy to find

The rooms were Very dark - needs Bright lights & must have some mirrors

1. Room smelled of cleaning fluid 2. Light bulbs burned out … room dark, poor lighting 3. Some mechanical device was running for about 8 hours making the room vibrating … like a washing machine in the spin cycle or a semi idling inside your room 4. Carpet frayed 5, couch well passed it’s due date 6. People in the end room next door up all night and into the next morning having a party

Need a fan in room an another curtain panel and a lock or something in the window as it opens very wide and . It a a safety issue for women

Right off the main highway

Pretty sure the sheets were not changed, we found a pill between the blanket and sheets. The room was very hot, there was no way to turn the heater off or down. The doors were hard to close. There was hardly any hot water for showers.

Location was good, easy to find. we also appreciated the restaurant on the property.

the heater would not shut off and the room was too warm. we slept with the window open and used the fan in the room. the pillows were too soft, almost flat. we used our own.

Everything was nice wirh only a couple of exceptions. See below. I appreciate how clean it was inside, having a dog friendly place to stay, & the fridge & microwave.

The outside parking had a lot of dog poop, liter & cigarette butts. Hard to not step in the poop. Could have a garbage bin & a sign to clean up poop. Not a bid deal this time but I couldn't get warm water for a shower.

There was no heat on when we arrived. I was told there was a portable heater in every room but not in mine. When I asked for my money back so I could go to another motel they said they would turn on the heat for us and get us a portable heater.

The front desk woman was kind and patience. The room was clean and comfortable it self.

However the room's door was broken and wasn't able to close or lock. All there was, was the chain latch. Huge safety issue. The neighbor next door at one point knocked on my door and then attempted to open the door.

Location was good and we stayed here on way to Alaska and it was ok. This time not so good on our way home.

The room smelled so bad of cigarettes we had to spray it down with Lysol. Can full of cigarette butts left outside of door. The toilet set was broke, cigarette burns in carpet, hot water only last about 3-4 minutes at a time.

There was a power cut every morning

Clean and good location.

The neighbors on the end were yelling and screaming and crashing into walls all night long. It was scary. I was worried they would come through the wall or the window. I was concerned for my car.

Room was dark despite all lights being on. Very thin walls. Could hear the road and people talking outside late. They also were loud when they left at 3:30 am. When I arrived at 5 pm my room wasn’t ready for almost 30 mins

This review would have been good except for people fighting & shouting outside our room at all hours. Drug or alcohol-induced maybe? They didn't appear to be tourists. One guy was begging for money on premises. Loud seemingly domestic arguments, somebody threw a chair off the balcony & almost hit our rental car with it. Really! This kind of behaviour is NOT okay...

Die Zimmer sind sehr veraltet und bieten keine Möglichkeit für die Kleiderablage. Ebenso enger Bettenzugang.

The small motel in Haines Junction is right in the middle of town. Well marked and easy to find. Huge parking lot. The Office is in the restaurant but the sign isn’t very clear. The motel itself is a separate building. Just a bit of space in between them. Room were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Surprisingly comfortable for a little place. Nice stuff who run the front desk while running the restaurant at the same time. Checking in and paying was a complete breeze.

As one could expect for a small town, simply built motel. This sounds from the other rooms were quite clear. Although I expected that, it’s worth mentioning for other people.

Die direkt am Alaska Highway. Großes sauberes Zimmer und Bad, alles Erforderliche vorhanden. Problemloses Ein- und Auschecken. Restaurant wurde von uns nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Im Zimmer roch es leider nach Rauch. Bei unserer Abreise (ca. 9:00 Uhr) war das Restaurant noch geschlossen und daher Frühstück nicht möglich. Aber eine sehr gute Bäckerei ist ganz in der Nähe

Les rideaux ne sont pas du tout obstruants, il fait jour avec le soleil. L’isolation sonore est aussi inexistante, que ce soit pour les bruits extérieurs (voitures,…) ou intérieurs (chasses d’eau,…)

In Haines Junction gibt es eine Reihe von Motels an der Straße. Alle scheinen wohl aus den 70er Jahren zu stammen. Mein Zimmer war ein einfaches Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Sofa, leider ohne Nachttischlampe. Bad war Ok. Sehr gut war das chinesische Essen im angeschlossenem Restaurant, große Portion, sehr lecker. Frühstück gab es nicht, da musste ich auf ein anderes Lokal ausweichen,

Very run down

This is a modest motel, like most in Haines Junction. It served our needs for a place to stay, but without many amenities.

The room was dark since there wasn't an overhead light, but opening the curtains helped.

While I love to support local hotels in these small remote towns, I am sad to say I would not recommend this place, or at least room #11 to anyone. The smell of stale smoke was unbearable, the bed was lopsided. On the up side the food at the Chinese restaurant, which is the checkin desk, was good.
