The property is not an hotel or a proper residence it just a small villa with room on z roof called suite surrounded with incomplete cement buildings away from z sea The place is not even on z map Once upon arrival I asked z guy on charge that it will be impossible to stay on z third floor using the stairs as I’m 71 years old and he totally agreed about the cancellation procedures with booking

I recently visited Dahab for a relaxing sunny holiday. Being my first time in the area I wasn't quite sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The accommodation itself was spacious, with even a little outside area to unwind. Swiss Royal is just a short walk to the lagoon and lighthouse, which made exploring the area easy. The weather was a touch on the windy side during my visit, so I didn't get to make the most of the rooftop terrace, though I've no doubt it's a brilliant spot during the warmer months! The host, Teleb, was an absolute standout. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel genuinely welcome, showing me around and making sure I had everything I needed. As I was working remotely during my stay, he went out of his way to ensure a reliable wifi connection. Throughout my time there, he was responsive, helpful, and always on hand whenever I needed anything. He organised and took care of all the trips I ended-up doing and I didn't have to worry about anything. All in all, a great stay, largely thanks to Teleb's warmth and attentiveness.

Overall, the room is great but would benefit from a better cleaning service.

Property Owner and personnel was very kind to accommodate my needs for check in and out. Even there was an incident with a long power outage, they did their best to resolve it. Best wishes

Quiet villa location with a homely feel . The manager Ibrahim was welcoming and genuinely helpful in a non intrusive way. The apartments are well spaced and offer privacy with additional spaces either in the private garden area or balcony. The property has an amazing roof terrace with spectacular views of the sea while having your breakfast. This is an ideal big place to chill with visitors. The accommodation and surroundings are clean. There is a supermarket open till late just under 80 meters down the road for all your conveniences. Thanks to Ibrahim.

A very comfortable villa with a nice roof top. We had there every day a lovely made breakfast. Thanks to Ibrahim, who was very helpful and made our stay as easy as possible. We can recommend the suite and join here again.

Most importantly: there is an amazing staff: Ibrahim and his younger brother are just amazingly friendly and helpful. You see their friendly faces when you arrive, at breakfast, when you need them and when you check out. They are the anchors of this hotel. The breakfast is offered on the rooftop, which is fabulous! The options were great (Egyptian or European). The same rooftop terrace can also be used during the day for reading or just relaxing.

Our stay at Swiss Royal Dahab was incredibly comfortable. The balcony was an especially nice treat--we enjoyed sitting out in the sun, or relaxing to watch the sunset (or sunrise!). Having the small kitchenette meant that we had the freedom to make our own meals at times (or store leftovers from when we did eat out!), and the staff were incredibly helpful, even arranging for a car to pick us up at 2:00 am in order to accommodate our atrange travel schedule!

I was suprised to know that the breakfast starts at 8:30 , which is too late then you have some activities , like diving. Usually breakfast in the hotels starts at 7:00, and i think that it's the perfect time for travellers. We had some food that was kindly provided by our hosts in our room, but that was not what i had expected

The hotel was spotless. Great communication, from receiving the WiFi code the day before to a message explaining there was a power outage due to bad weather (all resolved by the time we awoke and received the message as my phone was off). Great location, walking distance to everything but far enough away to not be in the centre. Breakfast was disappointing as the cheese and meat was quite processed but the delicious yogurt and honey made up for it. Overall a most enjoyable overnight stay, wish we'd booked 2 nights.

Really good base for Dahab and area.

L'emplacement est proche du centre et du lagon. Notre appartement était spacieux et très propres et nous disposions de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. L'hôte nous a organiser des excursions fantastiques pour un prix plus que resonnable dans des endroits fantastiques comme le Canyon, le Blue Hole ou encore Wadi Gnai et j'en passe. La totalité de nos vacances à Dahab ont été réussies grace eux et tout était tellement parfait que nous sommes sûr de revenir.

No està al bell mig del centre però així es manté del soroll i ajuda molt al descans. Caminant, estem parlant de 10-15 minuts, com a molt.

The breakfast was great. Staff was kind and respectful especially given that I was a woman traveling alone. I think this place was wonderful, clean, great AC which is essential in Egypt as a foreigner.

The hot water and electricity ran out one day during my stay. Staff was incredibly responsive and fixed the water relatively quickly but it did delay my plans for the day unfortunately. More on the facilities, the staff is excellent.

We chose the Villa and it was extraordinary. From A-Z, the service, cleanliness, and food was perfect. We had options of a continental breakfast that consisted of basics needed to keep you energized the whole day and an option of a traditional Egyptian breakfast which was extremely tasteful. Only 5 minutes from the lagoon and 5 minutes from the boardwalk area which made it a perfect walking distance. Thank you Ibrahim for giving us a great time. We will definitely be coming again and with a bigger group and booking both Villas. Thank you

My sisters and I stayed in the Sandra Villa and were welcomed with the warmest hospitality from the moment we arrived. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind and gave us great local tips on what to see and do. Special thanks to Ebrahim, who truly went above and beyond — serving a delicious breakfast, arranging our airport taxi, and making sure we were comfortable at every step. We really felt spoiled. The villa itself was spacious, and perfectly located — just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and the sea. It felt like a peaceful home away from home, with the added bonus of a lovely rooftop space to chill and enjoy the view. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it fully. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet yet central stay in Dahab, Swiss Royal is a perfect choice.

Great, quiet location. The house is big with a bathroom upstairs and another one downstairs. There is everything that we needed - kettles, frigde... The staff and owner Teleb are super friendly and nice. They respond to requests very quickly and fulfill all our needs. The balcony with the clothes rack for drying clothes is particularly useful. Good recommendation for tours and directions of where to go. The beds are clean and comfortable.

There were mosquitoes in the bedrooms, will be good to have mosquito nets on the beds. The bathroom floors are very slippery and will benefit if there are some bath mats and some anti-slip mats inside the shower.

I was contacted before and during my stay, I was made to feel extremely welcome by all staff, breakfast was very nice, the roof terrace is amazing, the rooms are spacious clean and well equipped. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the boutique hotel . I felt like home . The manager Mr Islam was very professional and made sure everything was ok . The owner Mr Teleb contacted me and made sure I was comfortable. Beautiful View from the roof top . I would recommend the “ luxury room “ it comes with a small kitchen ( everything dishes etc) bedroom, living room . Very cozy especially the balcony. Nearby the beach . German bakery is also close .

The apartment was clean and very practical. We even received an upgrade for our room. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location quiet. The center is easy to reach on foot and you can take a taxi to the beach or walk. We felt very comfortable at the Swiss Royal Dahab and would happily recommend it to others.

This is a nice boutique hotel. It is a short walk from the strip of restaurants and cafes in Dahab near the sea. We were in a four- bedroom apartment with lots of space for 8 people. We enjoyed the rooftop and the breakfasts both days we were there.

The jacuzzi on the roof was cold, so we never got in.

The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Hema makes the best breakfast and is very helpful and friendly, Ahmed went over and beyond his means to assist us in anything and everything we need, Eslam welcome us warmly and the booking and book out was quick and they even upgraded our room. The location is perfect and close to shops beach and taxis. It's a very homely environment and our 7yearnold daughter was right at home the minute we arrived she jumped in the jacuzzi

Short version: an absolutely welcoming and beautiful location with great staff comfortable rooms and well.. just read the long version! I loved it. Location: Strategically located close to Laguna, a beautiful beach during the day and night yet spitting distance from Dahabs center of town with restaurants, bars, markets etc. There is also a gym just around the corner for the fitness nuggets. The property itself is kept in a beautiful state and there are continuous efforts to improve it further. The spacious roof top terrace offers amazing views of the ocean, mountains, Dahab and the more open south and is designed to feel comfortable and at home, to chill with friends or by oneself. Rooms: my room was an appartmentstyle room with a living room, sleeping room and bathroom. It’s comfortable, clean and practical with its own balcony a lot of seating options and great working facilities. Of course there is an AC for those who need it, hot water showers and toilet that works great. What I particularly liked and honestly haven’t experienced anywhere else before is that you are in charge of what happens to your room and when. Let me explain: the staff won’t enter your room unless you ask them to clean or change bedsheets or towels etc.. now I get it that for people who have a more hotel like service in mind this might feel strange, but I honestly feel it provides additional freedom which is otherwise sometimes missing. In other words, if you want your room cleaned and sheets changed every day, they will happily do so, yet if you are fine with cleaning just every other day or whenever it fits your schedule the most (where the freedom comes in) that is fine too, so it supports the home away from home feeling of being able to fully relax in your room without having to expect the knock from room service on the door. In other words just another aspect that gives you control over your stay for it to be the way you prefer it.

The place was extremely clean, and in an amazing location. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they went the extra mile to make sure that not only we were comfortable but more importantly that our baby was happy and comfortable. They had set up a baby safe cot, with a mosquito net for him upon arrival. I honestly recommend this place for any family with a baby!

There were lots of mosquitos in our garden at night, but once we told the staff they immediately solved the problem by setting us up with outdoor mosquito repellent.

The hotel is excellent, with very nice breakfast. The toast tastes great and various kinds of food offered. Air conditioner and wife are excellent, better than other hotels we lived in at Egypt. Five star recommendation.

The place is much bigger than desired. It was my mistake that I did not book the smaller suite. This villa is good for big families or a group of 8 people.
