This was an absolutely disgraceful experience and a complete failure in customer service. My friend and I, plus 2 other guests, booked 1 room online specifically to change, drop our bags, and collect them after a concert. We were NOT staying overnight. Upon arrival on 11 July, *Simangele at reception* told us there were "no extra rooms available". Yet she then demanded an additional *R800* for a room that was not even available to book online. When we refused to pay for something we did not agree to, we asked *Simangele* to *cancel the booking completely* at reception. She confirmed this to us. However: 1. The booking was *NOT cancelled* 2. I have *NOT received a refund* 3. We *NEVER used the room* or any hotel facilities on 11 July I also have an audio recording from 11 July where we informed your staff, including Simangele, of the issue and requested cancellation, yet no assistance was provided and we were still charged. This is theft. You charged me for a service that was not delivered, after I explicitly cancelled due to misleading information at check-in. *My demands:* 1. 688 to my original payment method within *3 business days* 2. *Written confirmation* of cancellation and refund 3. Saturday we were allowed into our rooms at 16h30 while booked for that day, bathroom basin was leaking the water was all over the floor, the place is short staffed, 2 people cleaning 17 rooms and attending to check in also and check outs. Management didn't attend to our concerns and issues, there was no response at all

I liked the location of the property, it was not far from where I was working and from the shopping centre.

The fact that I used to leave in the morning around about 07:00am and come back around about 16:00pm but still the place was not cleaned sometimes and sometimes it’s cleaned incomplete or sometimes you’d find out upon my arrival they are still busy cleaning.

When we arrived the "receptionists" was screaming into her walkie talkie, had a conversation with someone else, ignored us for 3 minutes before she helped us. The room we had was right on the road - it was super noisy with trucks and cars passing by and there's shutters for curtains - so light kept shining through and we never slept a wink. There was noise in the corridor by other guests, and they were calling to each other down the passage at 12am in the morning. Tried to put on the TV to drown out the noise - but the internet was down. Checked out at 3h30am. The rooms are clean.

Don't get guests to sign a code of conduct when it's not enforced

The staff was incredible friendly helpful and really mafe me feel welcome.

The staff is friendly and courteous.

The place is not family friendly. The gates are only controlled by security officers but there's no way of alerting them of the need to use the gate.

I had a great stay at the property. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Everything was neat and comfortable, making the stay very enjoyable. I also found it to be affordable and good value for money. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and would recommend it to others.

The pool was dirty

The toilet shower….. it looked like rubber on the shower was loose or something but it did hold the water so everytime I showered the whole bathroom would be wet and the water would also go outside the bathroom to the bedroom

The rooms are very clean ,we were there with parents for mother's month..the staff was nice, toiletries were there, swimming pool was there And the safety parking space inside Heating and cooling

The internet was on and off.. We wanted Netflix but it would not work They do not have a phone line in the rooms for requests you have to go to the office

Nothing, worst experience ever.

The bedding was dirty, with stains and hair. The bedding was also worn-out just like the headboard and everything else in the room. I didn't like that they didn't control the noise from the next room as there was singing, bottle sounds and people going and out. I didn't like that the place was shady. I wouldn't recommend it especially if you are a couple/family.

Absolutely nothing. Staff was rather pleasant the 2min interaction we had. We have stayed at African Sun locations in Zimbabwe and they are just on another level. I can not believe this is the same group.

Dodgy and unsafe area. 1. Security when we arrived was rude and hostile 2. Room we were given- toilet light did not work and aircon did not work 3. New room- aircon did not work even after telling them its important to us and big part of our choice in rooms. 4. Bed has hair of other people in and on it. Second bed as well. We slept on on our own clothes spread over the bed. 5. Towels had small black hairs stuck in the fibers. Really gross. 6. O and then the noise... from 2am. People slamming doors. Standing in the hallway having conversations extremely loud. Like a party in different rooms and all rogether in the hallway. Tv and music loud.. Started 2am...never ended. 7. Cars driving past hotel with music on and racing. Horrible horrible experience- dont tell me thats what you get when you pay lower rates. We travel all over the world and have stayed in budget spots- budget doesn't mean off, dirty, loud and misleading.... this is terrible. I would never recommend it. We didn't sleep 5min and were worried about car safety.

The fact that it's a bit faaaar from the City yet they say it's in Dbn if they could specify that its in Rossburgh or uMbilo it would be better i never expected it to be so far from the city otherwise everything was 100%

The place is nice and clean. Secured and peaceful.

It was a mission to check in and get a room. I arrived at night, there was no one at reception and the security knew nothing about my reservation. Had to wait 1 hour in the dark, until someone was available to assist If in future before closing reception they can confirm arrival times of their guests.
