The Travel Inn Durban

The place on its entirety is marvellous; things work as they are supposed to work. The room is adequately lit with lights for every little corner - which is superb. Breakfast was scrumptious, to say the least. Few words can define the warmth from the entire workforce as well as the property managers. We really felt welcome and at home.

Very little if any. There is an inherent location issue which you forget about as soon as you settle into the hotel/in (dare I say home). The room that we got (last room available on Booking,com) was rather small for a couple, but habitable all the same. For a light sensitive sleeper, room 4 can do with a blind/small curtain on the north facing window.

Everything...booked a room next to the pool..excellent view..the cleaning services was everything...100/100].even though the toilet is closer to the main room,but the outside toilet topped it up.that place is super good.

The staff is amazing, my partner loved the availability of mirrors within the room ( my judgment didn't matter). It's a very comfortable and peaceful environment. It's definitely my new to book spot in Durban

The welcoming at the gate we really felt so safe and at home ,the cameras all around for safety ohh the breakfast was so delicious with options n we appreciated little gestures like welcoming chocolates n mini fruit basket n robes n slippers,the owner is such a sweet lady the bed was comfortable n unit have everything u need I appreciated hair dryer n straitner

the toilet is just next to the bed 😂 but it's no biggie we managed they do have another toilet just outside of the unit

Firstly it was welcoming at the gate, how the place was set, the cleanliness, freshness of the place. The rooms were amazing l, comfortable, clean, neatly set, oh and the welcoming basket of fruits and sweets; not forgetting the morning shoes and gowns. Everything was easily excess able. Will visit anytime

The property is in a safe and secure location. The amenities were also very good. It was clean and everything was in working order. They were always happy to assist with whatever we needed. Thabisile and Tertius were awesome hosts

Nature & Connection: As someone who loves nature, my absolute favorite part was seeing the small monkeys around the property. It felt like a true blessing and left me feeling deeply connected to the environment. Service & Security: The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—the food and service were "on point" throughout. I also felt completely safe as the security is top-notch, allowing for total privacy and peace of mind. Besides everything — because I loved absolutely every part of my stay — the host and her family welcomed us with such genuine warmth and love. From the moment We arrived, I felt safe, seen, and truly at home. This was more than just a place to stay; it became my home away from home, and a part of my heart will always remain here.

The pictures on the site don't do this place justice it's really amazing ,almost like the perfect home you wish you had and without a doubt the stuff was amazing ,we were well taken care off and treated with respect and felt like part of a family and I'm definitely going back.

Well the jacuzzi had issues ,that was unfortunate,which was one of the selling points but not enough for me to call it a deal breaker ,even without it we still enjoyed our stay and recommend this place.

When I looked at the reviews I thought I have to try and It was everything the reviews said it would be. I was contacted beforehand to make check in easier. The owners were extremely helpful to make sure that I had everything I need and the breakfast was really great. I will definitely return here on my next business trips.

My husband and I loved everything about the place, they have such a friendly and kind staff, the food is amazing, the place is beautiful and spacious, such a value for money. We're definitely going back next year.

The facilities are very clean, the owners are the most generous people I've ever seen. They make sure they attend to your needs. The area also is very safe I would recommend this place to anyone it is indeed real value for your money.
