Claridade do quarto, chuveiro, sem água quente, recepção nunca tinha ninguém.

Dit hotel ligt achter in de tuin van een lokale familie. Het ligt tegen het centrum, maar door deze ligging merk je niets van het verkeer. Via de achter ingang stond je in mum van tijd in een steegje met een markt. Ruime kamers met een badkamer. De stroom van de airco deed het een keer niet een via de whatsapp contact opgenomen en ze repareerde het direct.

Het ontbijt was simpel. Het zwembad vinden we niet goed uitzien. Hier hebben wij er ook geen gebruik van gemaakt. Al heel vroeg was het donker in het restaurant gedeelte. Dus savonds lekker zitten was er ook niet bij.

Très bien située, par l’arrière de la guest house vous êtes directement dans JI Kajeng ☺️, rue piétonne sans circulation: celle du marché ! Tout proche de sweet orange walk … Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres , petite terrasse. Le personnel est très très discret …

Everything about the place. On absolutely beautiful grounds and the room was spotless! They cleaned it every day. All the people around were so friendly and kind. An absolute pleasure to stay there

Beautiful place in a great location. You can enter or exit via the main road or right near the orange walking path that winds through the rice fields. I had the top corner room and my view was great, overlooking trees and pagoda rooftops. You’re super close to everything but it feels quiet and serene. Banana pancakes were amazing! Thank you!

La struttura è molto bella immersa nel verde al centro di ubud ma. Un po' nascosta, quindi non rumorosa. L'host. I dipendenti molto gentili e disponibili.

Su naturaleza. Vista hermosa. Habitación muy grande y espaciosa.

Una experiencia hermosa de principio a fin. Es una casita atendida por la familia dueña, y se nota en cada detalle: te atienden con una calidez que no encontrás en un hotel tradicional, te hacen sentir como en tu casa. La ubicación es un lujo: muy céntrica, a nada de todo lo que se puede visitar en Ubud, pero con vistas privilegiadas que te hacen sentir en medio de la nada. El entorno es totalmente balinés, auténtico, sin nada de artificial. Sin dudas la volvería a elegir. La recomiendo 100%

Das Zimmer Nr. 8 war großzügig, super sauber und hatte einen genialen Ausblick in den Urwald. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar.

Je loopt zo het centrum in maar toch rustige Lokatie

Zwembad ligt in de middag in de schaduw, waardoor het een beetje koud was.

Sicuramente posizione ottima , molto bello il contesto delle camere ! Pulito e rapporto qualità prezzo è perfetto !

Veramente minimal… dalle stanze all assenza di assistenza !staff poco presente seppur lascia un numero whatsapp x contattare ma nn rispondono 😅 ! Conviene girare x la struttura e chiedere direttamente a qualcuno che poi chiama chi di dovere !

La ubicación muy cerca de todo caminando. Lugares para comer y comprar en la misma calle. Bungalows independientes, muy chulos. El lugar es precioso, todo lleno de jardines, todo muy balinés, ambiente muy familiar. Muy muy tranquilo. El desayuno muy bien, incluso un día que salimos antes, se lo dijimos y nos lo adelantaron media hora.

Las ranas son muy ruidosas por la noche (pero te acostumbras y duermes bien)

la ubicación y en si el complejo de cabañas que hay. hay gente viviendo a su alrededor y fueron muy amables en todo momento. la cama muy cómoda y en sí una experiencia dormir tan céntrica y tan en medio de ubud

las imágenes no son las reales a las de la habitación, al menos en la que nos hospedamos nosotras. con el baño pasa lo mismo. al estar un poco abierto el baño, es posible encontrarse lagartijas. a momentos de la noche pasaban gatos por encima de la cabaña y se escuchaban los pasos, despertándonos alguna vez

Les chambres sont vraiment propres, lieu calme on n’entendait pas la route ! Bon emplacement, puis endroit typiques de bali.

Le petit déjeuner est un peu long, et manque de quantité, une bouteille d’eau beaucoup trop petite, pas de jus, pas assez de fruits mais ça reste bon quand même !

Accueil très froid, mettant directement mal à l'aise. Pas un sourire, à peine un bonjour...Notre chambre était sûrement la plus ancienne, très sombre avec en plus des draps de lit et de bain tachés, aucunes prises ne fonctionnaient, nous avons dû recharger nos portables avec la prise extérieure du bassin aux carpes. Les photos de booking.com et le descriptif des chambres sont celles du nouveau bâtiment qui lui est sûrement plus agréable et plus clair, alors il y a tromperie.

Solo parole positive per questo posto in cui mi sono sentita davvero come a casa. La struttura, seppur situata nel centro di Ubud, è immersa in una quiete quasi surreale. Bellissimi il giardino e l'area comune dove viene servita anche la colazione. La mia camera era semplice ma funzionale e super pulita (tutte le mattine passano a sistemare). Personale gentilissimo e accogliente che saluto e ringrazio.

Stanza silenziosa, nonostante ci si trovi in pieno centro a Ubud. Molto apprezzato il fatto di avere il frigorifero sul balcone, fuori dalla stanza. Possibilità di muoversi a piedi o con i grab, con estrema facilità. Numerosi ottimi ristoranti nelle vicinanze, sia tradizionali che occidentali e centri massaggi. Buona colazione, servita in una terrazza stupenda. Staff disponibile, con servizio lavanderia efficiente. La struttura è organizzata come una casa balinese tradizionale immersa nel verde, tant'è che la nostra guida si è soffermata a spiegarci il significato di ogni singolo edificio, molto interessante!

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être mieux

Everything was perfect!!!! The location was very near the center and for me the most important very near the rice fields. I did the Campuhan Ridge Walk, the start is near Pondok Bambu, and when you are there also go to Kajeng Ricefields, beautiful. The little swimming pool was very nice, breakfast was really good especially the banana pancake. I liked walking along the family houses in front of my room, they all are very friendly like all the staff. I was also invited to go with a traditional cremation. What can I say more, come here if you want a very nice homestay.

La chambre est grande, calme et confortable. Pas loin du centre d'Ubud. Le personnel est très serviable. Cadre original chez l'habitant. Le petit déjeuner est sympa.

Climatisation un peu bruyante. Le linge de maison demanderait plus d'attention. Un repose valise aurait été appréciable.

WC precisa de trocar algum material de desgaste, mas aceitável.

Hotel Pondok Bambu Homestay jest prowadzony przez właściciela, osoba bardzo miła, pomocna, sympatyczna i uprzejma. Dobre śniadania, zawsze był podany dodatkowo talerz świerzych owoców. Mieliśmy pokój the lux, który był codziennie sprzątany, duży fajny i bardzo czysty. Brak tylko lodówki, czajnika i suszarki. ale kiedy poprosiliśmy o czajnik i suszarkę zaraz właściciel nam nie przyniósł do pokoju. Lodówki nie przyniósł bo chyba nie miał na pod ręką, ale nie było problemu ponieważ można było jakieś drobne rzeczy schować do ogólnej, wspólnej lodówki. Polecam bardzo ten homestay pod każdym względem.

The staff was great, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It was also clean and quiet, had AC.

The WiFi wasn’t working in my room the 1st day & a half but they were able to get it going after a while. Also, there weren’t any vegan options for the free breakfast, so I didn’t eat there.

Tout est parfait. Chambre propre et spacieuse, petit déjeuner (plusieurs choix). Espace extérieur très agréable. Hôte de très bons conseils et Cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons demandé s’il pouvait nous proposer une personne pour une journée aux Rizières de Jatiluwih et ce fut parfait. Madé le fils nous a servi de chauffeur mais aussi de guide pour la journée en nous proposant plusieurs arrêts sur le chemin. Du coup le lendemain on a renouvelé l’expérience avec Madé qui nous a proposé une séance de purification. Il nous a accompagné sur tout le processus en nous expliquant les étapes. Ce fut deux jours merveilleux. Merci beaucoup pour cette expérience à Ubud. C’était le début de notre séjour à Bali, nous sommes ravis et nous vous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés. Nada. La pileta es pequeña, tiene una reposera y no le da el sol en casi todo el día. Pero esto no fue un problema para mí

Nothing worth even mentioning

This is the 4th time I have stayed here and its just lovely. Its a great location with a short walk from the madness of Ubud. You have the family temple and homes at the front and then at the back in the gardens you have a small pool with a mix of Balinese Bunglows, Apartments and there are new Suites under the Breakfast Room. I've stay in all 3. I love the tradition of the Bunglows but the Suites are just stunning. A good combination of a luxury hotel in a small home stay. The family are lovely. The homestay was opened by Ketut in the 80s and is now run by son Made. Ketut is still there cooking or overseeing Breakfast. His Banana Pancakes are amazing! Will never go back to Bali without staying here.

There is little to not like.

ik was hier in december 2023 ook al. Dat beviel zo goed, dus wederom geboekt. De familie is fijn. De Homestay prachtig aangelegd met een eigen tempeltje, aan de achterkant kun je zo via de straatjes naar de rijstvelden of naar de toeristische marktkramen. De kamer is ruim en ook de veranda. Ze maken heerlijke ontbijtjes en ik ben met Made, de zoon van de eigenaar weer op de motorscooter naar diverese plekken gegaan Topplek

Le bungalow est très vétuste, le matelas assez dur, les draps ne sont pas propres, aucune facilité dans la salle de bain si ce n’est un wc/evier/douche. Sans compter que la porte d’entrée est fermée par un cadenas qui s’avère être le même pour les autres bungalows (j’ai ouvert un bungalow par inadvertance en pensant que c’était le mien mais non). Je ne me sentais pas à l’aise. J’ai quitté l’établissement après une nuit alors que j’en avais réservé 3. Le personnel est tout de même gentil.

What a find!!!! £13 a night in the quiet honesty it was fantastic. Clean room, pool and breakfast included you can’t go wrong. 20 minute walk into town and enough bars and restaurants nearby if needed.

No kettle or fridge in room but we asked for a kettle and they gave us one straight away.

Je zit zo goed als midden in Ubud en toch ervaar je een ontzettende rust. Je hoort de herrie van de straten nauwelijks en je hebt 't gevoel dat je echt in de natuur verblijft. De kamers zijn keurig schoon. Een paar minuten lopen en dan zit je al in een hele gezellige straat vol winkeltjes. Vlak om de hoek een heerlijk restaurantje met goede koffie en uiteraard supervriendelijk personeel! Oh ja, je kan 't beste je activiteiten bij de receptie boeken in plaats van in Ubud zelf, want soms krijg je een mooie korting. Kortom, een dikke aanrader!

This is a lovely place! Taking the price into account it's a true catch. The breakfast is great with a beautiful view and everyone is super friendly. The area is perfect. Good restaurants and walks around but still calm.

The quietness was wonderful. Straight down our street to Ubud centre. About a 13 minute walk. Lovely little pool, clean. We had 2 bures. Don't expect a tv, but honestly, who needs one when surrounded by nature. $5 AUD breakfast. Meal, tea/coffee, fresh fruit. Pineapple (and coconut) pancakes were 'da bomb'. Just gorgeous. This is in a homestay, where Iocals live. The accommodation is towards the back. The locals do not come into the back area. They are very respectful and quiet. Staff are lovely. Our room light was not working, it was fixed immediately.

Levede ikke op til forventningerne. Lyset på vores værelse virkede ikke og toilettet var i stykker. Morgenmaden var virkelig sølle. Personalet var ikke særlig imødekommende.

Our stay was very good! The breakfast was delicious (there is a choice of four dishes) and came with a fruit plate. The room was large, spacious and bright. Every day someone from the staff came into the room and cleaned. The atmosphere is very good, the family that lives in the same courtyard is very friendly, along with the two turtles that they let loose. We did not use the pool, it was really small but it seems designed more for a decorative role than for practicality. The location was very good, about 7-9 minutes walk from Ubud Palace. We recommend this property for those who want to have the conditions of a resort, but also see aspects of the daily life of a beautiful Balinese family.

Second time staying here! This time, I had a suite room with a balcony; the room is huge, clean, and the massive corner balcony has great green views. I went to Ubud to cycle, and the slightly out-of-town location was perfect for me to avoid traffic in the mornings and when riding back. However, it’s also close enough to walk to the main area in 5-10 minutes. Breakfast is simple but enough for me and for the price I really can’t complain. Room was cleaned everyday, and the family are very nice people that live here.

A fost totul perfect. Chiar in Ubud dar putin mai retras de centru, unde era toata agitatia, ceea ce a fost perfect! Am avut camera chiar langa piscina. Seara puteai sta linistit la piscina. Camera foarte curata si bine ingrijita. Faceau curat zilnic in camera. Micul dejun a fost excelent!!! Recomand omleta. Primeam si fructe la micul dejun, ceea ce a fost perfect! Plus un view superb de unde serveam micul dejun. Cu siguranta daca ma voi intoarce in Ubud, o sa merg tot aici. Multumim inca odata pentru ospitalitate! Va recomandam cu drag!

Totul a fost ok

This is my third stay at the Homestay and I honestly love it. The family are lovely. The location away from the craziness of the centre feels like an oasis of tranquility. Already booked to go back.

L accueil, la situation très proche du centre ville.l authenticité des logements avec terrasse couverte. Le petit déjeuner copieux et savoureux. Le fait d etre au sein d un ensemble familial . Tres belle petite piscine.

L heure de début du petit déjeuner(08h00) trop tardive si l on veut partir tôt en excursion.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in Ubud. Es liegt sehr ruig und hinter privaten Häusern. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet mit schöner Aussicht über Wald und kleine Häuser und wir empfehlen die Bananen Pancakes. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab einen Föhn auf Anfrage und man kann auch Touren dort organisieren oder Roller mieten. Der Pool war jederzeit benutzbar auch spät abends, was wir oft genutzt haben. Der Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber und in die Innenstadt braucht man keine 5 Minuten.

Wir wünschen uns noch ein paar Haken an den Wänden zum Dinge oder Taschen aufhängen.

Superb location right in the centre, but very quite. Many restaurants close by, temples and rice fields in walking distance. Owners super friendly and helpful and their whole property feels like you are staying in a temple. Rooms are big with great view. Breakfast was good.

Only thing that we didnt like (reason for 9, not 10) was the heavy air, especially our lower room, but you are in the jungle and it's very hot and humid.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Pondok Bambu Homestay, dans un homestay de très grande qualité. L'accès aux chambres se fait par un jardin parfaitement entretenu , une jolie piscine, des statues et de superbes arbres. Coup de coeur. Le homestay est extrêmement calme et pour autant donne sur une rue très vivante. Notre chambre de style balinais était très propre et décorée avec élégance. L'accès aux rizières à 5 mn de marche, est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est superbe dont les superbes crêpes bananes coco. Made et sa famille ont été très agréable et Made a été notre guide sur une journée pour un day trip au nord d'Ubud (Gunung Kawi, Tegallalang, Tirta Empul, plantation de café et Luwak Koffee). Tout était parfait. Nous recommandons à 200 %

Easily one of the best accommodations near Ubud market, just a 6-7 minute walk to the main market area. Clean room and good breakfast is what you want and Pondok Bambu Homestay doesn't disappoint. Staff is polite and friendly & helpful. Pro tip: Right opposite the homestay, there is a temple, 'Puseh Temple of Ubud', which offers Kechak fire dance in the evening, do pay a visit.

There's not much to dislike; you get the best service for the price you pay.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk. We kwamen 1 ochtend wat later ivm hike tocht op de mount batur. Maar er werd nog ontbijt voor ons gemaakt.

Horrible stay...overcharged for coffee when we did not take breakfast. Refused to give breakfast for kid.

Everything was perfect, starting with the room and ending with the breakfast. We also did a tour with the homestay's owner and it was amazing and most of all it was not expensive at all. The staff is polite, fast and always ready for guests needs.

Geweldige homestay met supervriendelijke gastheren, heerlijk rustig net buiten het drukke Ubud gelegen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en wordt geserveerd op een mooi terras. De homestay was ook perfect schoon!

La habitación estaba muy bien, aunque al estar rodeado de selva (en el centro de la ciudad) olía algo a humedad por el ambiente donde estaba. En la habitación y baño no había signos de humedades

The property is in central Ubud but it’s very very quiet. Everyday our room was cleaned and we were given new towel. Great breakfast. Good communication. Easy check out

The shower and toilet combination isn’t too great. I think it would be good to have something to push the water in the drain. Just so that if you want to go to the toilet after a shower you don’t slip
