Wonderful 3 night stay in August in authentic guest house. Views were spectacular and peaceful surroundings made us a perfect place to relax,particularly by the pool. Food was great - we'd recommend staying in for evening meal. Staff were great in giving options for walks and in arranging guide.

Nothing not to like but be aware its off the main road and our taxi didn't go right to guest house. Not a problem though, we were met at sister guest house on the road and helped with baggage to get to the place.

Super views, very friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond.

The staff were wonderful here, and made loads of effort to play with our two children. We really appreciated them getting up early to make us breakfast (as we had to leave early the next morning). The pool area is stunning and the food was very good. Amazing views and hospitality. The room was spacious and had very good aircon, the outside area it came with was also appreciated. We didn't want to leave and we will stay longer next time.

De weg naar de riad was wat hobbelig.

Un peu plus loin du village mais c'était parfait pour profiter du Riad entouré des montagnes. Une expédition de plus de 3h00 avec les enfants et le guide local Mohamed et son mulet pour les petites jambes fatiguées. Les déjeuners sont très bons, mais ne passer pas à cite des soupers du Riad. Les tajines sont faites à partir du jardin directement et les saveurs sont impressionnantes. Merci c'était un petit arrêt parfait.

C est un peu compliqué pour accéder en voiture au Riad, il faut mieux laisser la voiture à 500m et finir à pied car ils viendront chercher vos affaires.

Veldig fredelig, og en skikkelig digg kontrast til å være i byene (som Marrakesh eller Tanger). Vennlig personale som hjalp oss med hva enn vi trengte. Overraskende bra internettdekning. Anbefaler å ta en fjelltur (vår guide het Semir og han var så fin, anbefales). Jeg anbefaler å spise Tajin med kjøttboller(og å be om å få den med litt spice).

Emplacement exceptionnel, cadre magnifique, tres reposant. Les espaces de vie sont tres agréables (terrasses, piscine). La nourriture est délicieuse

Amazing location, lovely pool and area, lovely roof terrace, so many lovely chilling spots. Beautiful scenery from every angle. Lovely staff. Amazing food! Staff organised a hiking trip for us all good and would defo stay longer next time.

Our shower room was very small, the newer rooms looked very nice. Would like to stay in one of those next time.

Un séjour absolument parfait ! Le cadre est magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes d'Imlil depuis la terrasse. La piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre après une journée de randonnée. L'accueil était chaleureux, l'endroit est calme, propre et reposant.

Je recherchais le calme la vue et la fraîcheur j'ai trouvé "mon paradis" : charmant riad a 1800 m d'altitude au milieu de vergers et entouré de montagne face au mont Toubkal, à 15 mn à pied d'Imlil, piscine et plusieurs salons terrasses, ma chambre joliment décorée avait un balcon aménagé avec une vue grandiose sur le mont et les vergers, pdj copieux chaque matin, déjeuner ou dîner sur commande avec de délicieux tagine, de bonnes salades et assiettes de fruits de saison (cerises, melon, pêche et banane), contact téléphonique avec Houssine agréable et accueil très chaleureux de Mohamed qui est aux petits soins, merci à Abdelkarim pour son service attentionné et souriant, l'ensemble du personnel est très sympathique, établissement propre et proposant de l'eau filtrée avec bouteilles en verre à disposition, transfert pour l'aéroport de Marrakech disponible à 40€/trajet pour 1 à 2 personnes (70 kms). Je reviendrai... "inch allah"

Jolie maison, authentique, les chambres sont ravissantes, la vue magnifique et la piscine incroyable. Mohamed et son équipe ont été aux petits soins et nous ont confectionné d’excellents repas.

De gastheer Mohammed is een zeer prettige, vriendelijke, hardwerkende man met humor. Hij wil je het echt naar de zin maken. Communicatie in het engels is prima. Hij is erg behulpzaam en informatief, o.a. welke hikes je met een gids kunt doen en het vervoeren van onze bagage toen we vertrokken. De omgeving is prachtig tussen de bergen (met deels besneeuwde toppen) en met bergdorpjes waar de tijd heeft stilgestaan. Het uitzicht vanuit onze mooie, rustige kamer met balkon (ik meen de luxe kamer) was prachtig. We hebben er tijdens ons verblijf (3 dagen) elke avond gegeten, wat prima en smaakvol was. Ook het ontbijt was prima.

De accommodatie ligt een stuk van de weg en kan je alleen lopend bereiken via een (heel) smal pad langs een irrigatie-geul. Voor ons was het 7 minuten lopen (ons looptempo is vrij hoog). Je bagage moet je dus via dit smalle pad vervoeren naar de accommodatie, wat met zware koffers wel een uitdaging is. Op ons verzoek heeft Mohammed een ezel geregeld toen we vertrokken, zodat we alle bagage in 1 keer bij de auto kregen. Natuurlijk wel met een goede fooi voor de jongen die de ezel begeleidde.

The details of the rooms was very nice. Its peacefully located away from the main roads. The manager was so kind and upgraded our room after one night to the top floor. The rooms have an amazing veiw and are so charming. The breakfast was nice and plenty to eat. We really enjoyed our stay .would stay here again.

The actual location of the hotel doesn't have a road to it. I think this should be communicated to guests before arriving. We would never have found it if the manager wasn't standing on the main road when we arrived.

Beautiful location with stunning views! Host was really welcoming. We all enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast which really added to our stay.

A minor point and honestly wasn't a problem - I'd read there was parking, which there is, but once parked it's about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Worth bearing in mind if you have lots of luggage. We enjoyed the adventure though!

ruhige Unterkunft in schöner Lage. Besitzer war freundlich und hat uns gute Wandertipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war recht gut. Man konnte auf der Terasse frühstücken.

Das Zimmer war recht klein und die Unterkunft liegt etwas dezentral. Man kann nicht mit einem PKW vorfahren, sondern muss etwa 5 Geh-Minuten entfernt parken. Es gibt keine Zufahrststraße. Das Internet ist recht instabil.

Everything was good, We really enjoyed our stay at Jnane Karma, the staff welcomed us with free tea, and showed us places to visit and walk to/around, also they proposed many activities to do, Room was claen and bed is comfortable, Breakfast was included and delicious, Dinner is something you need to try to know the real taste of moroccan food, for lunch I advise you to do cooking class which they offer also, Thank you all,

Jnane el karma is my best stay in the mountain, it is a very good place to stay if you are looking for mindset, The place itself is beautiful, staff are always there for you, breakfast and dinner are delicious.

Riad Jnane el karma was my very first accommodation in Morocco and I couldn't have wished for anything nicer or more cozy. The airport transfer to Imlil went smoothly. I was given a warm welcome and had a beautiful room with a view that I’m still missing. As solo traveller/ hiker, I also really appreciated being able to discuss my planned day hikes beforehand. +Make sure to have dinner here, too: the best (veggie) tagines I had during my trip!

We had a confirmed reservation and drove 400km to Imlil expecting a normal stay. What happened instead was exhausting, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. 1) The location is misleading The property is not where the map pin shows. We only found out after arriving. We then had to walk 16 minutes to the real location, carrying heavy bags across uneven rocky ground, slipping hazards everywhere. This is dangerous and absolutely not accessible for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues, and it is not clearly mentioned on the listing. 2) Immediate hygiene red flags The moment we entered, it didn’t feel clean or prepared for guests. Dust in multiple places, spider webs, and even food crumbs/leftovers in the hall (couch + floor). The bathroom was disgusting, and to make it worse, there was no water. 3) The most shocking part: privacy intrusion Instead of a normal check-in, we were kept waiting and then asked for marriage proof beyond our ID cards… and even requested to show personal wedding photos. We explicitly told him these are private, and reminded him no other accommodation has ever asked us for anything like this. We warned him clearly. He still insisted. 4) Refused the stay, stranded at night After all of this, we were refused accommodation and had to drive another 150km last minute just to find somewhere else. This was not hospitality. Avoid this place. Update: The host’s public response includes insulting language such as “Thank you for your lies”. This is unprofessional and does not reflect respectful hospitality. The facts above remain accurate...

The doors and windows should be properly sealed as the cold came through these and it was hard to warm up the room. Also the curtains railing on the window was broken and curtains weee so low that it was touching your face while you are sleeping

Le plus beau Riad d’imlil. La vue sur les montagnes est incroyable. Mohamed nous a proposer de nous faire à dîner, c’était tout simplement excellent. Meilleur tagine que nous avons mangé depuis notre arrivée au Maroc. Pour ceux qui voyage en été, l’air climatiser fonctionne très bien et la piscine est très rafraîchissante.

Accueil chaleureux et établissement très mignon, comme sur les photos avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes depuis notre chambre ou la terrasse sur le toit !! Le petit déjeuner est servi avec pain, msemen, oeufs dûrs, confiture, thé/café ou lait.

On s’attendait à un accueil beaucoup plus chaleureux, personnel à l’aire peu enthousiastes pour le travail qu’ils font contrairement à ce qui est connu les gens de cette région, peu d’informations utiles communiquées, ustensiles utilisés pour les repas très salés et dégradés, il est affiché que des repas sont proposés et des activités mais lorsqu’on a demandé au responsable il était pas du tout motivé pour nous donner assez d’informations concernant les randonnées ou peu de choix pour les repas pas de carte pas d’informations, coupure d’électricité 4 fois pendant un séjour de 2 jours une fois ça a duré 3h alors que normalement un établissement doit avoir un back up, en gros à part la vue que je ne peux dire que c’est un travail de l’établissement je ne recommande pas vraiment

We’re very sad that Mohamed is leaving the riad. He was always welcoming and professional, and he’s one of the main reasons we chose to stay here. We truly enjoyed our stay again this time.

Ecerything was perfect from the staff to the food. A wonderful experience.

Host was the absolutely the best, helped with everything, took care of everything. It was quiet, breathtaking views and great pool. Dinners were cooked by the host on site, soo delicious.

Le personnel était au petit soin de la prise en charge jusqu’au check out, la nourriture était très bonne, la chambre avait une vue panoramique sur les montagnes du haut atlas et bien préchauffé avant notre arrivé ( -5 c + neige ) et l’emplacement est +- 5min du centre de Imlil à pied . A recommandé !!

Le personnel et t tres sinpatique il nous a accueilli et à portée notre valise jusqu’à l’hôtel et on partons aussi jusqu’à la voiture

Une belle expérience; Riad Jnane Karma est vivement recommandé: le calme absolu, un cadre naturel spectaculaire, une cuisine de qualité et un excellent niveau de service dans le Haut Atlas. Son principal atout est l'équilibre entre le confort et l'authenticité de l'expérience berbère en montagne.

Vanuit onze kamer hadden we een prachtig uitzicht op de vallei. We hebben elke avond heerlijk bij het verblijf gegeten. Zwembad was koud, maar na een dag wandelen erg lekker. Personeel is super vriendelijk.

The views were fabulous, spacious rooms with balconies, we were provided with slippers, there was help to carry bags across the sometimes tricky terrain from road to hotel. Food was fantastic, and reasonably priced, breakfast excellent

The most welcoming hotel during our entire trip to Morocco (we stayed in 11 hotels in total). Very friendly and helpful service, it really felt like we were being waited on and offered the best Moroccan hospitality. Definitely take dinner from this hotel - we had the best tagines of the trip here (delicious, homely, juicy, hot). Great location a little away from Imlil in a neighboring Berber village. The view from the room balcony is indescribably picturesque. P.S. They give you incredibly cute slippers for the duration of your stay.

Could not find fault

Prachtig uitzicht en heel goed verzorgde (dak)terrassen en zwembad waar je heerlijk kon genieten. Personeel is heel attent en zorgt dat alles naar wens is.

Weinig eetgelegenheden (het centrum is vrij ver lopen), we hebben 1x keer bij het hotel gegeten en 1x bij een nabijgelegen hotel, dus dat was precies goed voor de twee nachten die we er waren.
