Merzouga Activities Camp

Super miła obsługa, duży plus że można tu dojechać samochodem centralnie pod namioty. Super wystrój, bardzo ładnie i schludnie. Namioty dobrze udekorowane, w namiotach jest ubikacja, prysznic, gniazdka do prądu. Napewno tu jeszcze wrócimy :)

L’emplacement à proximité immédiate des dunes et la gentillesse du personnel, la possibilité de dormir à la belle étoile et la propreté de la tente.

Il manque une prise dans la tente. Nous avons également eu une frayeur sur les tarifs annoncés à notre arrivée qui n’étaient pas ceux annoncés à la réservation mais tout s’est bien passé sans problème finalement. Juste un petit regret sur l’absence de chants avec les percussions le soir comme annoncé à la réservation.

Le camp est d'accès très facile. On y arrive sans problème avec les coordonnées GPS et avec une route praticable. Depuis le camp on a directement vue et accès aux dunes. Il y a une tente d'accueil avec une climatisation et un espace de restauration, on peut également manger en terrasse de l'autre côté de la tente. Les tentes d'hébergement sont très belles et propres. La douche fonctionne bien. En juillet il fait chaud et les tentes n'ont pas de climatisation mais il est tout de même possible d'y dormir. On peut aussi choisir de dormir à la belle étoile (le ciel est magnifique) car on vous propose de vous installer des lits dehors si vous le souhaitez. Il est possible de manger sur place, le repas est copieux. Le soir après le repas il y a de la musique traditionnelle. Il est possible d'aller dans les dunes voir le lever du soleil en toute autonomie et en quelques minutes.

Rien. Pour une nuit aucun problème. Il peut être bien en juillet de ne pas arriver trop tôt au campement car il fait très chaud. Mais certaines personnes qui sont restées 2 nuits on pu se rafraîchir dans la tente climatisée pendant les heures plus chaudes.

A experiência do deserto é sempre inesquecível, o estabelecimento está colado as dunas, o que torna mais fácil a exploração do deserto. O staff é top, sempre pronto a ajudar no que for necessário. A tenda estava bem equipada. Desde a recepcao com chá de boas vindas, o jantar e o pequeno almoço tudo bom. E ainda tivemos um pouco de animação musical depois do jantar.

Só faltou o ar condicionado no interior da tenda, apesar de um pouco quente no interior tudo se passou bem e dormiu-se bem.

Tout était parfait, petit-déjeuner , dîner... Soirée en musique autour du 🔥, balade en dromadaires au lever du soleil. Balade en 4x4, oasis, lac, thé chez les nomades et surtout très bon échange avec Said. Nous recommendons vivement ce campement.

Kemp je dostupný vlastním autem, takže není potřeba platit navíc 50eur a více za odvoz jako u ostatních kempů. Ačkoliv je na okraji pouště, hned za kempem jsou duny a dá se do nich snadno dojít. Za 13eur obrovská večeře. Snídaně také dobrá.

Nebyly nám nabízeny žádné aktivity, včetně večerního hraní u ohně. Mozna i tim, ze nás bylo v kempu málo. Každopádně ani bychom nevyužili z důvodu žaludečních potíží. Ve stanu standard nejsou okna, takže se v noci udělá snadno dusno a protože bylo větrno, celý stan se třásl a byl dost hlučný. Az do jedné ráno je slyšet hudba a křik z okolních kempu, proto kdo očekává zážitek klidu, zde úplně není.

Alles was perfect. De gastheren waren bijzonder gastvrij en we werden ontvangen met thee. De locatie is perfect, aan de rand van de duinen maar evengoed met eigen auto te bereiken. Het kamp is mooi en goed verzorgd. In de avond muziek rond het kampvuur. Het eten is fantastisch, we hebben zo lekker gegeten, zowel het ontbijt als het dinner. We hebben een jeeptocht gedaan met Ali. Dit was fantastisch, we hebben zoveel gezien in de omgeving van Merzouga. Hij nam alle tijd en liet veel zien. Ook hebben de een quadtour gedaan met Ali. De kinderen achterop een mooie tocht door de rode zandduinen. Zonsondergang gekeken. Alles was perfect. Communicatie vooraf was heel fijn. Mijn vragen werden netjes beantwoord.

Super ubytování na okraji pouště s možností příjezdu vlastním automobilem. Duny začínají hned za stany, není to uprostřed, ale dle mého, to vůbec nevadí, protože poušť je malá a za každým hrbem jsou stany, takže asi nikde nejste sami. Tady je to na okraji a celkem klid. Stan jsme měli s toaletou a sprchou, postel veliká a velmi pohodlná. Ráno jsme jeli za 15Euro kousek na velbloudech na východ slunce. Pro nás pobyt velké plus a zážitek.

Es un lugar precioso y el personal es maravilloso. Estábamos con mi hija que cumplió 7 años allí, fui a pedir una vela para celebrar su cumple en el desayuno y los chicos aparecieron con un bizcocho recién hecho para ella, con velas y con música de tambores. Fuimos con los dromedarios a la salida del sol, nos llevaba un chico muy joven, Hassan, el tío es un crack y nos lo pasamos genial. Estamos enamorados de este sitio!

Lovely people, great place !

La ubicación, la amabilidad de los anfitriones y la facilidad para aparcar. Es cómo ir de camping al desierto con la comodidad de unas camas y un baño con ducha en tu propia tienda.

Por poner algun pero, el agua caliente un día falló, creo que nuestra habitación usaba agua caliente con placas solares y ese día había tormenta de arena y seguramente no pudo calentar... por el mismo motivo si nos duchabamos varios por la noche, por la mañana tampoco había agua caliente, pero vamos, sabiéndolo tocaba ducharse por la noche y solucionado.

All staff were helpful and we loved the location right on the edge of the dunes. The deluxe tents were a good size. The breakfast and evening meals were good quality.

We rented two deluxe tents for two nights - we anticipated that they'd have usb ports in (as noted on booking.com), but only one of the tents did (but that didn't work). It meant we had to charge all items in a communal area and leave them there unattended whilst charging. They were safe and there was CCTV in the communal area, but perhaps less than ideal. We didn't doubt the difficulties of staying in a remote area. As it was, the water went off, and all power for a brief couple of periods - again, this was expected given the remote location and on one night there was a sandstorm - no criticism of the accommodation or our hosts under difficult circumstances. The padlocks were a little tricky to use on the tent doors. There was just one small bedside table in our deluxe tent, so it would have been better if there was more surface space to place things on, rather than leave everything on the floor or in our luggage. Finally the only reason we planned to stay here was because we knew we could drive to the accommodation without using a 4x4. Our 2 wheel drive Dacia Duster worked aok - and we got to the site ok - however, we still had to drive off road over 'sandy earth' - it was ok, but had it rained the previous day or two it's unlikely we could have confidently driven to the site without assistance from the staff. Overall it was still a good experience and I'm happy to recommend staying there.

Отличное местоположение, можно доехать на своем авто, и выйти из Кемпа сразу в дюны. Прекрасно организованные активности верблюды и багги. Вечером костер и музыка. Есть все необходимые условия чтобы погрузиться в атмосферу пустыни и местного быта. Рекомендую.

При бронировании одного из номеров в переводе на русский язык не было указано что туалет и душ общий, но это видимо тонкости перевода, номер люкс с собственным сан.узлом. Обратите на это внимание при бронировании. Во время нашего прибывания ночью в пустыне было холодно и в палатке тоже, возьмите с собой теплые вещи, так как палатки не обогреваются.

Es war schön, dass man direkt in die Dünen laufen konnte.

Es hat mich etwas enttäuscht, vielleicht war ich nicht vorbereitet genug oder hatte einfach andere Vorstellungen. Es waren große Gruppen im Camp, das Personal hatte alle Hände mit denen zu tun. Man hatte das Gefühl ein bisschen unwichtig zu sein. Das Personal hat zwar alles versucht, aber es war zu unorganisiert. Es gab die Aktivitäten Kamelreiten im Sonnenaufgang oder Sonnenuntergang und das Quad ausleihen für 60 Euro pro Stunde pro quad. Das Zelt hatte 4 Betten mehr nicht auch kein Fenster. Es gab 3 Gemeinschaftstoiletten und 3 Gemeinschaftsduschen. Wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht, sind aber bereits nach einer Nacht abgereist. Es wurde uns freundlicherweise nur eine Nach berechnet.

The camp met all our expectations. They organized our birding excursion in the area by 4x4, very well done. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the dinner is plentiful and tasty. Breakfast is buffet. I really recommend Merzouga Activities Camp for its good value and friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Das Camp ist perfekt mit dem Auto erreichbar und direkt an den Dünen. Die Zelte sind super geräumig und das Essen ist ganz toll, auf Nachfrage wurde ohne Probleme wunderbares veganes und trotzdem traditionelles Essen für uns gekocht. Besonders genossen haben wir die Jeeptour mit Brahim, welcher uns alle unsere Fragen beantwortet hat und noch dazu ein ganz herzlicher und lustiger Mensch ist. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Gleich zu Beginn mit einem Tee Willkommen gehießen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, hatten uns aber gut umsorgt gefühlt und gleichzeitig unsere Ruhe gehabt. Frühstück war das Beste bisher in Marokko! Abendessen und Aktivitäten wurden angeboten aber nichts aufgedrängt. Wir würden jedenfalls sofort wieder kommen! Vielen Dank

Dobrze usytuowany Camp, możliwy dojazd samochodem osobowym lub kamperem. Pyszne posiłki. Za obozem od razu zaczynają się wspaniałe wydmy. W okolicy wiele ciekawych miejsc do zwiedzania: jezioro z amonitami na brzegu, oaza z uprawami ziół i warzyw, wioska Gnawa z możliwością obejrzenia pokazu etnicznej muzyki i tańca afrykańskiego.

Vam anar de Fez fins a Marrakesh passant per Merzouga. Una ruta molt recomanable. Els propietaris són dos germans molt amables. Si aneu amb cotxe pel vostre compte, no cal pagar excursions organitzades i cares des de la ciutat. Amb ells es pot fer l’excursió amb els dromedaris, quads i l’excursió de tot el matí per l’oasi, nòmades i pobles de la zona. Vam fer les tres excursions amb ells i va ser fantàstic, tot de 10. El sopar és bo i si fa calor es pot anar a la piscina dels hotels oropers, però vigileu, que es paga a part. També es molt còmode que arribes al camping amb el teu propi cotxe, però amb les dunes taronges a peu del camping.

Les habitacions no tenen endolls, i es fa difícil carregar els mòbils. Molt amablement ens els van deixar endollar al seu despatx, la càrrega és lenta.

I’ve been two times at Ali’s camp. I love the atmosphere, the delicious food and the people. It’s great because you can reach the camp by car and you are still in the desert and can explore the dunes by yourself. Having dinner under the star and sitting at the fire and playing games and music in the evening will be my favourite memories

The camp is in a great location. Delicious meals. The host was friendly and open. The host easily organized on-site activities (e.g. camel riding, quad biking, etc.).

Se puede llegar en coche hasta el campamento, no necesario 4×4. Te ofertan muchas actividades sin imponerte ninguna. Las tiendas son espaciosas y las camas muy cómodas aunque al no haber aire acondicionado puede ser muy caluroso. El desayuno y la cena muy ricos (la ensalada deliciosa). El personal muy amable nos dio todo tipo de facilidades. Hicimos un tour en 4×4 con Hassan quien nos contó muchas cosas y fue encantador

It is just the start of the dune so you can walk easily to the dune. Scenery is perfect 😊 Staffs are very nice and explained me interesting things about plants and trees and some Berber words... and make me feel at home.

It is quite difficult to come to the camps because there is no normal taxi from Supratour stop (even not very far). The staff have to ask a 4x4 for us and it costs (200 dirham go and return from bus stop to the camp) nearly equal to our two tickets from Tinghir to Merzouga (210 dirham - 5 hours bus).

Toller Aufenthalt. Lage super mit dem Auto zu erreichen aber direkt am Beginn der Wüste gelegen. Familienzelt mit eigenem Bad war super. Aktivitäten werden angeboten aber nicht aufgedrängt. Insbesondere Quadtour mit einem tollen Guide wird in Erinnerung bleiben.

Personál, výborné večeře i snídaně, čisté koupelny i WC. V kempu jsme byli úplně sami, na 1 noc nám i vynesli postele ven, takže jsme spali pod širým nebem.

Offerte per escursioni con jeep, quad e dromedari economiche e divertenti! Cena e colazione tradizionali ed abbondanti. Consigliato!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good and the layout of the camp was really nice!

We had a fantastic experience at Merzouga Activities Camp! - The location was easy to find once we got to the gas station on the main road, which is few minutes away from the camp. - The camp itself is very clean and well-maintained. - The tents were spacious. - We also really enjoyed the food – everything was freshly made, flavorful, and there were four dishes every night. Probably the best dinner we had in Morocco! Breakfast was included and we paid extra for dinner. - The staff were amazing and helpful, and the whole experience felt well-organized from start to finish. We did camel ride and jeep tour, the prices of the activities were definitely reasonable.

Nothing that was great

The staff was good. There were not many tourists at the camp. We paid in euros and upon request they gave us change in MAD. We could buy a cold coca cola (can 15MAD).

We had an amazing stay at this desert camp. First of all, the location is perfect — right at the edge of the dunes, which is a huge advantage. You can walk straight into the dunes from the camp for a sunset or sunrise stroll. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious and satisfying. Parking is available right nearby, which is very convenient. We stayed in a luxury tent with a private shower and toilet — and it was absolutely wonderful. You can charge your devices in the shared common area. During our stay, there was a thunderstorm, and although there were a couple of brief power flickers, nothing serious — everything stayed functional, which we really appreciated given the conditions. Wi-Fi is free and works well throughout the camp. They also offer great activities like camel rides at sunset or sunrise, quad biking, and jeep tours — all of which add to the experience. Highly recommended for a comfortable, adventurous, and unforgettable desert experience!

The location of the camp is ideal, situated right at the edge of the sand desert. You can drive directly to the site without needing extra transport to reach the tents. The staff was very friendly and offered us activities like a sunrise camel ride or a quad tour, but they weren’t pushy when we showed no interest. Our standard tent for four people was satisfactory, with enough blankets available to keep warm at night. The bathroom had three separate shower stalls and three toilet cabins. Everything was very clean and tidy. The breakfast included in the price (boiled egg, msemen, bread, jam, honey, butter, orange juice, yogurt, coffee or tea by choice) was tasty and sufficient. The value for money is excellent if you don’t expect luxury. In the evening, a fire was lit and there was drumming. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of.

There was nothing that stood out to us as particularly negative — we were satisfied overall. It was a bit of a pity that our tent didn’t have a power outlet to charge our phones, but there were sockets available in the communal tent.

They lost our booking and we arrived at night to a full camp and had to leave in the dark to find a place to stay.

We were there on a very windy day and there was not a good spot to relax protected from the wind.

Very nice experience, lovely hosts and amazing rooms. Also good contact through whatsapp! When you go to the camp, travel to the gas station and go into the desert there, not earlier (we got stuck in the sand on a map that Google maps said was the fastest). Also try to book what you want to do beforehand. (Do this through whatsapp). We almost could not join the camel ride because it was full. But they fixed 2 more dromedary for us. Would recommend!

Waking up and being able to just go for a short walk in the actuall desert was crazy. Really recomend this camp. Food was good, and the tents were comfortable, and withstand the storm during the night :)

This camp was the most welcoming and hospitable stay of our journey. Many thanks to Rahim and Omar. The activities (quad in the dunes, sunset camel ride in the dunes) were great and (compared to other offers we found in the internet) reasonably priced. Great food (we had breakfast and dinner in the camp) and stayed for 2 nights. Our tent was well equipped (with WC and shower) and great for 4 adults, though not luxourious (from a central European perspective). The camp was easily accessible by normal car (we drove a Dacia Duster - no 4x4) and were guided from the Shell station on the R702 (approx 1 km to the camp from there). While the booking.com text only mentions cash payment, it is possible to pay by means of PayPal or similar transfers (no credit cards).

One of the greatest experiences in my life. Perfect accommodation in desert. Hot water, wi-fi, breakfast and dinner. Camel and quard ride, fireplace, drums, stars, sand… that was unbelievable. People are great and friendly. It is worth to visit at least onece in your life.

We really liked the location of the camp, because you can get there by any car. It is at the edge of the dessert, so you can easily get into the dessert by foot or taking some activities. The staff was very friendly, we felt at home. The facilities were very clean.

We had a great stay in this camp. Price-value is excellent. Clean tents and toilets, friendly stuff, plenty of activity to choose from.
