Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Very handy to the airport. Comfy rooms. Good cafes and bus services nearby. Friendly and accommodating reception/check in process. Shuttle service from. The airport was excellent and very very cheap.
We had a really squeaky door to the bathroom which disturbed other guest in the room. (Units 3 and 5) Our hot chocolate sachets had not been topped up from last guests ,(unit 5) and there was none in Unit 3, so we couldn't have a hot chocolate. We did have an issues with the toilet cistern (Unit 5) but issue was fixed quickly and with a smile once reported. Spa wasn't working.

Reviewed May 22, 2026Close to airport
Do not stay here! There are plenty of other options. At check-in staff not helpful and then advises that the free airport shuttle they advertise isn't available if you have an early flight. There was no hot water in the room. Made for a miserable and cold 6am start. Used kettle to boil water - that was leaking. Spa pool also not operating. When I complained, there was denial and then attack. Told I was lying. Seems to be the standard response to all who have complained.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026Not there very long as we had a very early flight. Close to airport, good facilities - kitchenette, very hot water and spacious room. Very clean and the staff very helpful regarding bus number to catch and food outlets nearby.
Nothing. But a hint for other travellers wanting to buy meals- we were told there was a fish and chip shop, an Asian restaurant and a supermarket nearby. That was right and they were in walking distance (10minutes) but when we went to buy fish and chips we didn't know that they only took NZ cash or NZ credit/debit cards. The Asian restaurant took all credit cards except American Express and Diners and did not put extra fees on as with most credit cards in NZ. Excellent food in the Asian restaurant.
