Got what I expected

Staff was super nice! The room was very big.

Bedding and floor wasnt super clean but there was no bugs.

Unfortunately, the quality of the accommodation was very poor. Almost everything was extremely old, worn out, and clearly not well maintained. The only newer item was the TV, which we did not use. We were also very uncomfortable with the surrounding area. There were many homeless people and people openly using drugs nearby, which made us feel unsafe throughout our stay. We were particularly concerned about our car parked outside and about leaving any belongings inside it.

The room felt neglected and in need of significant updating. The furnishings and overall condition were far below what we expected. We were also very uncomfortable with the immediate surroundings, especially the amount of visible drug activity and people sleeping or staying on the streets. This made us feel uneasy about our vehicle and belongings during the entire stay.

The accommodation was clean enough but the infrastructure is shabby. The kitchen facility was adequate. The beds were comfortable.

The room layout is odd. There is little natural light and seemingly no opportunity for fresh air. It felt gloomy. We didn't want to spend time there.

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for but the owners are the most welcoming and warm hosts. Absolutely lovely personal touches that made me feel so welcome. It is not my first time staying here and it will not be the last. I am checking back in today for 3 days and so looking forward to the hospitality. Definitely recommend. It's great for the money. The hospitality can not be beat.

It was cheap! And a good location.

It had been cleaned but grimey because it was obviously years since it had bern decorated. Very very tired.

We didn’t stay here, he pulled up and they were some homeless (high on drugs) people sitting in the corner, and the place just gave us bad vibes! So we left.

View on the parking lot, quite a few people walking by my window or on the phone next to my window, so I kept the window and the blinds closed

This is a lovely budget motel with the warmest owners who truly make you feel comfortable.

Le grand frigo, la table avec chaises pour le petit déjeuner et vaisselle dans l'armoire.

Pas de petit déjeuner fourni mais nous le savions à l'avance. Logement vieillot avec prises de courant trop courtes pour la bouilloire, le micro-ondes... Bonne literie, mobilier usagé mais propre. Façade du bâtiment et chambres nécessitant un rafraîchissement ! Petit parking et chaises devant les chambres très abîmées. Heureusement, une seule nuit dans ce motel qui ne vaut pas plus qu'une étoile.

Abgewohnt, etliche Dauermieter, sehr dunkle Räume. You get what you pay for.

I gestori che ci hanno accolto sono stati molto gentili. Il motel si trova a pochi minuti di auto da Victoria Bay dove per due sere di seguito abbiamo avvistato gli orsi. La stanza pur essendo molto datata aveva un letto comodissimo.

Struttura vecchia che avrebbe bisogno davvero di tanti lavori.

Very vintage style fun location along a industrial strip area there is a shelter nearby but for the price we put the valuables inside with us just to be safe. Room was clean and had a coffee maker and fridge.

The location isn't great when there's a person selling cocaime just a few doors down.

I can see the renos. The lino floors are a much better idea than the rugs. I'd stay again if I come up again. Your cleaner from. QUEBEC WAS AWESOME.

People screaming outside my door. But I'm sure everyone enjoyed the man's ranting and raving. Best part is that he left the next morning.

Zona molto pericolosa con gente drogata e ubriaca sulle strade limitrofe. Nella notte dalle 11 pm alle 4 am un uomo, sotto evidente uso di sostanze, è stato nel parcheggio del motel urlando e sbattendo oggetti, impedendoci di dormire e intimidendoci. Le auto non sembrano danneggiate ma abbiamo temuto il peggio. Decisamente sconsigliato. Peccato perché il signore che ci ha accolti al check-in era stato molto cordiale.

The room was very clean, the bed was so comfortable, the staff and owners are absolutely welcoming and very kind. I'd stay here again its good for under $100

Affordable so didn’t expect much. Clean bed was key. Lovely lady & her doggy checked us in.

More than 2 pillows since the ones they had were quite thin. Not a good neighbourhood, just down the road from sobering centre.

Neighbours were using foul language and watching TV with very loud volume at 3am in the morning

The shower was good.

The dirty floor, trim, windows, hair on bathroom wall, and dresser covered in cigarette burns. Smell of cigarettes and febreeze. Even low cost rooms can be simple but should be clean. Then at night loud angry yelling, death threats outside our door, we didn’t know if we were about to witness a violent crime. Then same man arguing with a woman inside their suite next door and what sounded like pushing and shoving with furniture. Came close to calling RCMP when it stopped.

Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Having a fridge microwave and coffee maker was great!

Property is very old and inside room has evidence of mold. Room has carpeting that could use for replacing but for 1 night stay it was good.

Friendly staff. Well placed if you are en route to Tofino. Out of town but only 5 minutes drive (nice crêperie in town).

Could do with a spruce up but ok for the price.

Es adecuado para llegar a descansar después de aprovechar las actividades en la ciudad de Port Alberni como hacer senderismo, visitar lagos, cascadas y el propio malecón.

Todo me pareció bien y es una excelente opción de acuerdo a su precio.

The noise from the refrigerator disturbed my sleep, until I disconnected its power-cord, to silence it. I propped both the doors open, to allow circulation of air, rather than allowing its internal dampness to become a problem.

Electronics and appliances (mini fridge, TV, coffee maker) looked recently replaced. The location was pretty central. There was parking.

Everything else. The whole inside of the property needs new furniture (my bed frame had faded prints and marks on it that made me assume it was from a thrift store), new moulding, and new paint, including the front office, which has a strange smell. The surroundings made me worry about bugs, though I did not see any. Worst was that, while rooms were supposed to be smoke-free, someone had clearly been smoking in or near mine within the past couple days. I asked for air freshener spray and tried to circulate some of the air out of the windows and the fan, but it definitely did not get rid of the smell. Anyone truly sensitive to cigarette smoke could not have stayed there.

I booked and paid for a room late in the evening. They would not let me in.

Did not care for the ferry cost, maybe the Province could invest in a tunnel... There was this great option where you could build an island between the crossing, this could be a new park, tourist trap, university, homes or a manicuring area for Tesla!

This motel is absolutely horrid. I can’t believe they were able to obtain a business license. Drug addicts coming and going, pink mold in the bathroom, bed bugs. You will end up seriously sick if you stay here.
