Reviewed May 31, 2026The place is cosy like a proper house house with room to move. Super close to the best supermarket - new world is a short walk. Such an awesome supermarket! Close to town and everything you need whilst being in a quiet location. Has 2 toilets next to each other, which meant no queues at the door. If this place had a play ground for kids it would be 100% the best place to stay for families
The room was beautiful and clean but the fridge had a previous guest meat blood in the fridge vegetable dish. Shower has great pressure but the shower head wouldn't stay up and needs to be looked at.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026A very lovely quiet area. The rooms great with TV , desk dining table fridge/ freezer and microwave. Shower and bathroom is amazing. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We always stay here because it’s near a great car wash for our RV at the end of each trip that ends in Auckland.

After waiting for reception I asked a staff person if the receptionist was available. She called out loudly to a group sitting outside and mockingly that a pakeha was at reception. It was rude and uncalled for to treat a customer that way. When I said to her that was rude, she just laughed and spoke over me. Also I was woken at 1.30am to police outside my unit with an intruder from across the road trying to hide stolen property in the garden. It was a frightening place to stay and one I won't repeat.

Room 1. A very bad odour in the room, mainly the bedroom & bathroom. Most likely a mould or damp problem. It was difficult to sleep with the smell and it gave us a headache. I emailed the official contact site, but have had no response as yet.
