Het paradijs heeft een adres. Hier. Wij hadden een bungalow maar ik denk dat de tenten ook prima zijn. Het strand is weggelopen uit de bountyreclame. Elke dag schoongeveegd en heerlijk zwemwater. Het strand is vol zon en schaduwplekken. Het eten is geweldig en je kan kiezen uit 3 restaurants. Yves is behulpzaam maar laat je heerlijk met rust. Er is wifi en er zijn oplaadpunten. Gratis drinkwater en overal zie je dat er lang verbeterd is aan deze plek. Overal douches en minidouches om het zand van je voeten te halen. Ongelofelijke luxe voor zo’n afgelegen plek. Sommige schrijven over een lastig pad, valt erg mee. Met rolkoffer minder fijn maar in 20 minuten ben je er. Prima te doen. Wij bleven 3 dagen maar ik snap werkelijk niet waarom we weg gaan.

Posto fuori dal mondo in tutti i sensi! Per la bellezza ma anche per la selvaggia posizione, arrivare via terra da Saracen Bay è un'impresa ardua ma possibile, consiglio di prendere una Taxi Boat che vi lascia nell'acqua davanti a questo meraviglioso posto. Sulla stessa riva ci sono altri 3 o 4 "hotel" simili che fanno da mangiare e da bere e un centro di attività fantastiche.. un piccolo angolo di paradiso tranquillo gestito da un simpatico host francese!

Beautiful views, especially at sunset. Crystal clear water and golden-white sand beach, very private and tons of hammocks + beach chairs. Food on site is also great!

Rustic bathrooms, no air conditioning (although there is a fan in each tent)

The hotel is trying to be as sustainable as possible. They use solar panels to electrify the rooms, they provide drinking water for a free refill, the cutlery and plates are all reusable and not plastic. Additionally, the hotel provides snorkeling masks free of charge. Kudos for trying to be environmentally friendly!

Le cadre incroyable. On ouvre sa tente et on est face à la mer. L’endroit est super bien équipé! Pétanque, fléchettes, billards, pas de quoi s’ennuyer! Surtout qu’Yves a plein de choses intéressantes à raconter ;)

Sehr ruhige Lage Tipi, direkt am Strand nach Nachfrage erhalten. Tipi war sehr ordentlich und wirkte sehr neu sehr sehr sauber. Handtücher waren vorhanden. Zahnbürsten auch Frischwasserstation um sich immer wieder Wasser aufzufüllen zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis im Tipi. Weg nimmt circa 30-40 Minuten ein auf keinen Fall Koffer mit tragen. Nur Schotterwegweg ist zu 80 % in der Sonne kurzer Dschungelwalk über Steine nachts im Meer bei wenig Mond, Plankton im Wasser zu sehen, auch ohne Tour. Abends wurde der Pizzaofen angefeuert. Diese haben wir allerdings nicht probiert. Schöner Sonnenuntergang mit wenig Menschen. Wenn man die Ruhe möchte, ist man hier genau richtig. Es gibt Ventilatoren und Nachtlampen auszuleihen. Handys und Akkus müssen Nähe, der Bar geladen werden. Hier ist der WLAN Empfang nicht so gut, aber das tut gut, auch mal ein Social Detox zu machen.

Cocktails waren extrem stark. Strand ist nicht so weiß wie an anderen Orten. Wir haben diesen Strand nicht als schönsten der Insel empfunden. Toilettenanlagen könnten moderner hergerichtet werden, sowie auch bei Nachbar Unterkünften . Anwesen wirkt im Großen und Ganzen etwas heruntergekommen. Hier muss noch viel Liebe und Arbeit reingesteckt werden. Stühle vor den Tippis wirkten auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen Keine laute Musik erwarten, da dies ein silent Ort ist

A very relaxing, quiet place to stay. We loved the fact that you have to take a short hike to get there, around 40 min through the forest (well signposted). It made it even more remote. You can refill your water bottles for free at the reception, they have a restaurant providing 3 meals a day. Prices are very similar in all the restaurants there, food is great in all of them. Our bungalow was comfortable and quiet. The staff was really helpful, and their food hygiene seemed to be on top too.

Our mattress was hard, but they added some extra padding when we asked them to, and it made it softer. Lot's of flies and mosquitos but that's not their fault of course

If you like the beach, comfort & tasty food, great place, nice owner & team - beautiful too. Best place on the island.

La plage, les poissons, la jungle, cette baie est un véritable petit coin de paradis.

Ankommen im Paradies. Den ganzen Tag nur barfuß im Sand laufen, toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Essen war sehr gut. Pizza und Crêpes meine persönlichen Highlights. Wir haben einzeln gebucht und sind mehrmals umgezogen. War aber kein Problem. Jedes Zelt und auch der Bungalow waren sauber. 10 Tage waren wir dort und haben uns in das Fleckchen Erde verliebt.

Weg dorthin sind 30min zu Fuß, aber völlig ok. Es fehlen bequeme Polster auf den Stühlen im Restaurant.

Beautiful and peaceful place in paradise. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the sea in a tent on the beach is an amazing experience. And as a bonus - very friendly staff and delicious food. I recommend it for people who are looking for peace and quiet.

L'hébergement en tente, la tranquillité,la gentillesse du personnel,les repas (pizzas excellentes).

Le patron paraît un peu triste mais il est quand même très sympa.

Le lieu est emblématique voire paradisiaque Le gérant est un chouette type ; un de ses employés aux airs parisiens un peu moins. La plage offre un terrain de snorkeling plein de poissons exotiques et même de coraux ! La nuit lors de conditions de lune favorable, agitez l’eau et vous découvrirez même du plancton bioluminescent !

L’emplacement rend mon avis ambivalent : Il faut faire l’effort d’une marche dans la jungle de minimum 40 minutes pour y accéder. Alors chaussez de bonnes baskets et surtout laissez votre confort et votre sac à Sihanoukville car pas de place pour s’encombrer ! Les tentes sont (évidemment) sommaires mais confortables. Des hamacs sont à remplacer car déchirés, leur nombre est limité pour se détendre face à l’océan.

On voulait quelques jours de robinsonnade au calme et on a trouvé ce qu'on cherchait. Il y a là l'essentiel: un accueil sympathique et disponible, un hébergement les pieds dans l'eau, des sanitaires fonctionnels et propre, deux superbes spots de snorkeling à deux pas de la plage, prêt gracieux de masques et tuba, bar et restauration à des tarifs tout à fait raisonnables compte-tenu de la situation géographique et la possiblité de se rendre à M'pay Bay en bateau si besoin. On serait bien resté quelques jours de plus!

Superb location! Arrived and left by taxi boat. We loved the snorkelling - so many different, beautiful fish! You can borrow masks. We read in hammocks, swam, night-kayaked and totally relaxed. Very friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable bed. And very good pizza and crepes! We ate at nearby establishments too for variety - the food choices were excellent on Sunset beach. You can also do yoga nearby and rent kayaks and paddle boards.

The tent was a bit grubby and stained, especially around the door and the showers and toilets are very basic but functional.

Cudowna plaża, najpiekniejsza na wyspie -spokojne morze, hotele na piasku sprawiają wrażenie małego miasteczka. Cudowny, wiejski klimat 💚 łazienka jest wspólna, ale bardzo czysta. Nie ma ciepłej wody 😬

Materac był tak twardy, że bolały nas plecy. Wypoczynek nie był komfortowy. Z chęcią zostalibyśmy dłużej, ale na innym łóżku 😔 dojście do hotelu było bardzo strome i kamieniste. Dla osób starszych lub otyłych może to być spory problem.

The place has to be assessed in the context of what it offers - a tent in a secluded beach, so the facilities are rather limited. The whole beach is a magical, quiet, chill-out area to relax. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The staff was nice (it is a French owned and run place). The water was very calm as this part of the year the wind is from the other side.

The restaurant area lacks a bit of ambience and the food is nothing special. Things to keep in mind, which are not really negative, because they give the place special character: To get somewhere else you need to take a steep path up and then walk on newly constructed roads.

La posizione, il cibo, la pulizia.

L a chiusura delle attività alle ore 22 a volte anche 21:30, spegnendo le luci mentre noi stavamo giocando a biliardo. La poc accoglienza di un operatore dello Staff.

Pregi e difetti mi erano noti prima della partenza e li ho scelti: si tratta di una struttura molto basica, in una posizione eccellente ma scomoda da raggiungere (le opzioni sono: mezz'oretta di trekking, oppure trattore + 15 minuti a piedi nella foresta, oppure un costosissimo taxi boat da Saracen Bay). I servizi sono semplici: alloggi (tende o bungalow) con il bagno in comune, amache e qualche sdraio. Il ristorante offre un menu con poche opzioni e prevalentemente occidentali. Accettano carta di credito. In compenso, si ha un posto in prima fila per il tramonto e una spiaggia e un mare in cui osservare il plancton luminescente (anche con luna piena, puntando la sveglia alle 3.30 di notte, senza escursioni ma autonomamente abbiamo fatto il bagno con la bioluminescenza, un'esperienza impagabile). Per l'intrattenimento, opzioni di snorkeling (offrono maschere sub gratuite), un biliardo, freccette. Consiglio la struttura a coloro a cui piace vivere nella semplicità e sentirsi liberi nell'essenziale. (Lungo la spiaggia ci sono altre 3 strutture che offrono possibilità di ristoranti con menu differenti)

Il servizio pulizie viene effettuato su richiesta: suggerirei di lasciare almeno una scopa per ogni alloggio, in modo che si possa essere autonomi almeno per il grosso.

Struttura carinissima e super accogliente. Perfetta per rilassarsi e staccare la spina. Staff gentile e disponibile. Sunset beach è in asssoluto un angolo di paradiso da non perdere!

The beach is incredible!!!

Such a beautiful and quiet space on earth. We loved our very spacious tent just in front of the beach, the sound of the waves and crickets. The first swim in the morning minutes after waking up.

The shared toilets, to use them at night, even if they were close. But its of course part of the deal and no other solution possible.

The tent are very comfortable and spacious. The BBQ is super good at SleepingTree! Sunset beach is beautiful and possibily the last clean beach of the whole island, we manage to see two blowfishes, a stingray, many big squids, and countless fishes and corals

It’s not about this property, but about the whole beach. At the edges of the bay there is a lot of trash, mostly plastic bottles,m. Most of it comes probably from sea currents, some of it from few uneducated tourists. It would be very nice to have some collective initiative from all the properties on the beach to have big bins where tourists (if they want) can collect a couple of bottles everytime they go to swim. Maybe after 5 bottles there can be a free coffee to incentivize this or something like this. Or on top of it once a week the staff instead of tidying up in the morning they could also collect the bottles to improve the environment. It could come up very clean very soon this way

Amazing location on the best beach of the island. Comfortable bed and clean bed sheets. Prepare to a very wild experience. I loved it but certainly had to adapt to shower cold and have insects around. But the experience and the place is unbelievable. The comments are from people that expect a luxury experience, but here you are going to sleep between the beach and the jungle, so amazing experience to do, but don’t expect the comfort of a hotel. This place also has a restaurant and there are other places nearby that are nice to try, so it’s handy to be there even if you are on a remote beach.

Cold shower, shared bathrooms that are in the jungle/beach, so expect to find any kind of insect and animal. Anyways, part of the experience. WiFi was not working in my room, so an opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the nature, but not suitable for digital nomads.

​Un angolo di paradiso perfettamente integrato nella natura. Il soggiorno è stato fantastico: un mare da sogno fa da cornice a una struttura curata nei minimi dettagli e priva di inutili fronzoli. Il cibo è ottimo e l’atmosfera che si respira è di totale armonia. Un plauso speciale va allo staff e al manager, sempre sorridenti, cordiali e pronti ad aiutare. Un ringraziamento di cuore, inoltre, per averci agevolato il trasporto dei bagagli con la barchetta, evitandoci il trekking nella giungla con le valigie. Un'attenzione al cliente davvero apprezzata!il bungalow nonostante fosse spartano era super pulito.

Chiaramente non ha colpa la struttura,ma ci sono davvero tante zanzare. Io avevo lo spray con deet al 98 per cento e nonostante ciò mi hanno massacrata. Letto un po scomodo e assenza di acqua calda ( ma e un compromesso che si può fare in cambio di un mare da sogno )

Abbiamo alloggiato presso Sleeping Trees tre notti: è stato come vivere in paradiso. Lo staff è gentilissimo, rilassato e sempre pronto ad aiutarti con un sorriso. Il cibo è ottimo: consigliata specialmente la grigliata di pesce. Ottimi anche i servizi, sebbene rustici sono ben progettati e realizzati. Addormentarsi e risvegliarsi direttamente in riva al mare con il rumore delle onde sulla spiaggia è un'emozione incomparabile. Sulla stessa spiaggia si trova anche un agenzia (Sunset Adventures) che offre tour del plancton bioluminescent e altre attività a ottimi prezzi. Altrimenti la vita allo Sleeping Trees è più che sufficiente per programmare una vacanza a Koh Rong Samloem. Grazie di tutto! Merci!

Me gustó todo desde el primer segundo hasta el último. El lugar, la tranquilidad, la playa, el servicio… no olvides probar sus pizzas y su barracuda si te alojas allí. Un paraíso para auténticos viajeros, alejado de las masas y turistas convencionales.

No me gustó que nos tuviéramos que marchar y seguir con nuestra vida. Pero siempre quedan las ganas de volver.

Everything about Sleeping Trees exceeded my expectations. The restaurant had either delicious pizza or tasty BBQ each night. Falling asleep in the tent to the sound of the waves could not have been more peaceful. I only wish that I could have spent more time there.

L’emplacement est paradisiaque. Il faut le mériter car il faut marcher environ 40 minutes. D’abord une montée sur une piste et ensuite une descente à travers la jungle. J’ai dormi dans une tente bercé par le bruit de la mer !

Rien. Il faut savoir où on va et accepter un confort plus ou moins sommaire mais largement suffisant.

L’emplacement, il s’agit de la plus belle plage de l’île sans hésiter. L’accueil est au top, le personnel super gentil et bienveillant. C’est vraiment très calme et relaxant.

The island is incredibly beautiful, some nights at this beach is ultimate get away, of course sunset's are stunning!

Absolutely loved the tent we stayed directly at the beachfront . We basically had a section of the beach just for ourselves with two beach chairs and a table. Shaded by large trees and separated from others by vegetation. We watched sunsets and moon sets from our beach beds and it was magical. Breakfasts were also delivered to our little beach front "villa" as we called it. Also the staff was exceptionally lovely Sleeping trees provide snoorlling masks free of charge and it were I think best masks I ever used. Very well sealing against the face and the snoorkle was super safe with no water backing. Important as my friend was only first time snoorlling in life, so quality gear was super helpful.

We loved it all, although we sometimes did go to sunboo next door for dinner, as the presentation and dining experience there was a little bit more romantic.

Nous avons fortement apprécié ce petit coin de paradis. La petite marche pour y accéder nous fait encore plus apprécier d'être arrivés et de découvrir ce havre de tranquillité. L'équipe est au top et vous donne tous les conseils nécessaires.

Great staff and owners, a place like home away from home, directly on the beach, great food too! Perfect spot for a few days!

Everything is quite simple but that is just the life on a remote beach like this one, no disappointment here, you just have to scale back for a few days :)

Definitely worth going there, beautiful place to relax, friendly staff, good food. It is a 30min trek through the jungle (you can leave your big bags for 1 dollar a day at the main beach), easy with sneakers.

I really liked my stay at sleeping trees! The bungalow was really comfy and the beach was beautiful. If you are looking for a place where to chill, that’s a perfect location! Yves and Fred were super friendly and accommodating :) my friend wanted to organize a little surprise for my birthday and she asked the staff for help. They kindly offered to prepare a cake and they served it at diner with some candles on top 😙. Would totally recommend this place !

Nothing! *Only remark for those choosing to get on that part of the island by foot through the little jungle part : cover yourselves properly because the mosquitoes can be really thirsty !

Très chouette endroit, direct sur la plage. J’ai adoré m'endormir avec le bruits des vagues. Repas savoureux : pizzas au feu de bois, barbecue, petits déjeuners. Yves, le proprio, très gentil, toujours dispo pour échanger avec les clients, nous a bien organisé notre départ qui avait lieu de l’autre côté de l’île.

Les moustiques ! Prévoyez de l’anti-moustiques costaud car ils piquent à travers les vêtements, sont féroces. Mais la tente est équipée de moustiquaires.

Expérience nature, aventure, tranquillité, plage baignade. Possibilité de plongée, de paddle.... En fonction de la météo.

Un peu difficile d'accès, c'est une aventure, taxi boat possible au départ de mpaybay si météo favorable. Ou tracteur et portage de bagages possible, à organiser, moyennant supplément. wifi de temps en temps. Vie plus chère que sur le continent, équivalent à l'Europe .

Al estar en una zona apartada, llegas a una playa con mucha magia y poca gente. Las cabañas muy limpias, la comida muy rica y el personal muy amable y simpatico.

un poco difícil de acceder por un sendero por la selva.

Es ist einer der wohl schönsten Strände, die ich je gesehen hab! Es ist ruhig und am Morgen einfach ein Traum! Auch wenn es gerade in der Regenzeit bei uns ein wenig geregnet hat, so war es doch sehr idyllisch! Auf jeden Fall etwas für Naturliebhaber! Wir haben den Besitzer als einen sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Menschen kennen gelernt.

La plage, les poissons et l'usage des maques et tubas, le barbecue et les pizzas, les animaux, le billard. Et le site exceptionnel.

Les sanitaires et le manque de mobilier dans les chambres. Manque de ventilation naturelle dans la chambre.

Les logements sur la plage, le côté « paradisiaque » en pleine nature, la gentillesse d’Yves, le calme qui y règne idéal pour se reposer

La marche pour y aller n’est pas des plus simple avec 9kg sur le dos, donc ce serait le petit bémol. Mais l’effort vaut le coup.
