I stayed at this riad for two nights, and honestly, the only good thing I can say about it is that the location in the city is great. Everything else was a massive letdown. When we checked in, the hotel staff claimed they were giving us a "free room upgrade" as a courtesy. If the room we got was an upgrade, I’d hate to see what the standard rooms look like. It was incredibly cramped, and the so-called balcony was a tiny 0.3 x 0.3 ledge that is completely useless. On top of that, the bathroom door handle was broken from the outside, and the toilet seat was cracked/broken too. The worst part of the stay was the "included" breakfast. The food itself was awful, and the lady serving it had a terrible attitude that made the whole experience incredibly uncomfortable. We couldn't even eat what was served and just left to go buy our own breakfast somewhere else in town. Having breakfast included here is definitely not worth it. I know the owner will probably reply to this review trying to defend the hotel and justify everything, as they usually do. But to anyone thinking of booking here: do yourself a favor and filter the reviews by "lowest rating" instead of "relevant" or "newest." You'll see exactly how many people have had the same awful experience. I really hope management uses this feedback to actually fix their rooms and train their staff instead of just arguing with guests online.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Un tres bel endroit qui mérite d’y poser ses valises. Les chambres ne sont pas immense certes, mais amplement suffisantes pour s’y reposer et déposer ses emplettes quotidiennes. La terrasse offre une vue imprenable sur la montagne, la mosquée espagnole et la médina, très agréable pour y boire un thé (célèbre whisky marocain). Le personnel est à l’écoute, arrangeant et de bons conseils ( Bien qu’absent physiquement à plusieurs moments pendant notre séjour). En conclusion, n’hésitez pas à y aller vous ne serez pas déçus. Merci !

Tout, l insalubrite avec les punaises de lit découvert à 00h30 sur tête de lit, mur et oreillers, obligé d aller chercher dans les parties privées le monsieur de l accueil car personne à l'accueil. Il a vérifié les punaises de lit et à chercher une autre chambre. Dans la nouvelle chambre, pas de frigo, ni papier wc. Le Spa inexistant, j'attends toujours qu'on me dise si on peut faire le hammam car jamais eu de réponse. Pourtant nous avions fait la demande par mail avant d'arriver et il avait mon mail quand on a fait le check in. Booking a demandé au Riad de faire un geste, ils ont refusé... c'est honteux de leur part. Chambre avec punaises de lit restée porte ouverte de 00h30 jusqu'à 12h00, l'heure à laquelle ils ont commencé le nettoyage !!! A FUIR ...

Salle de bain minuscule, pommeau de douche qui ne coule pas et plus de savon dans le distributeur. Petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité, jus d’orange goût d’eau et café similaire. Crêpes grasses et sèches. Les clients très bruyants jusqu’à tard le soir qui ne respectent pas les autres et qui fument dans les parties communes.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Breakfast was amazing and decor is beautiful! We have stayed in other riads across Morocco and this was definitely the best breakfast by far and one of the most beautiful. Good location within Chefchouan. Great views of the City from the rooftop terrace. Friendly staff who was very accommodating and timely. Good value and close to the mosque and waterfall.
We stayed in a room with twin beds but only had an extra blanket for one bed during a cold season in the mountains. We were surprised at the amount of stairs/climbing from the drop off area in the square, so with bags it was a challenge; however, being a mountain town, we noticed nearly all accommodations had similar issues. The staff did offer to bring our bags down the hill to our driver which was nice.

Aunque cabe destacar que es un bonito lugar, en un buena ubicación, muy limpio y el desayuno que sirven es espectacular.

Lo staff è stato il vero motivo per cui non vediamo l’ora di tornare. Pulizia eccellente, ottima colazione, location incredibile! Questo posto non sarebbe così bello senza Brahim e Moad, bravissimi nel loro lavoro, sempre al tuo servizio per ogni richiesta! Brahim e Moad sono tra le persone migliori che abbiamo mai incontrato nella nostra vita! Ancora grazie grazie grazie 🙏🏽❤️

Dimensions de. La chambre bien inférieures à 18m2 annoncées pour un couple. Établissement vieillissant. Chambre pas très propre. Matériel cassé (lampe de chevet) ou manquant (pas de serviettes, ni papier toilette, ni ceintres, ni mouchoir). Beaucoup trop Bruyant. Salle des repas au centre des chambres mal isolées phonétiquement. Nuit difficile. Blocs climatisation sous la fenêtre.

The breakfast is so bad and simple. Only jam and bread 🍞😔 every day. If you don't mention that you want black tea 🍵 with 🥛 milk, the staff won't provide. Preparing the breakfast is very very very slow. I don't know other Riads in Cheouan. But at least it should provide some veggies and fruits.

El baño estaba bien, pero era un poco pequeño. Sería perfecto si tuviera piscina.

The location is perfect,breakfast very good, the facilities are modern and very well maintained, but what truly made my experience memorable was the service. A special mention goes to Moad Amraji, whose positive personality and commitment to helping guests stand out. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, always with a friendly attitude and genuine passion for his work. Thanks to his dedication, my stay was not only comfortable but also truly enjoyable. Moad represents the hotel with excellence and leaves its name very high. I would definitely recommend this hotel, not only for its great amenities but especially for the outstanding service.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and we especially want to mention Moad, who went above and beyond during our visit. He is genuinely kind, always ready to help, whether it’s recommending restaurants, arranging things for us, or even bringing tea to our room late at night. He really made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day, and the location of the riad is perfect – close to everything you’d want to see in the medina, yet quiet and relaxing. We had such a great time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chefchaouen. This place is the perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and charm.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Moad. De ligging is echt super (midden in de medina). Het ontbijt kun je op het dakterras of binnen op de “binnenplaats” nuttigen. Bij het uitchecken werden onze koffers naar de parkeerplaats gebracht. Super service dus!
Onze kamer was aan de kleine kant (zeer kleine badkamer) - standaard tweepersoonskamer. Helaas konden wij het ontbijt niet op het dakterras nuttigen door een enorme hoeveelheid aan bijen (hier kan de Riad niets aan doen).

Colazione è preparato al momento, tutto fresco e buono. Riad si trova in una posizione Posizione ottima per visitare la città. C'è una bellissima terrazza dove si può stare si di giorno che di notte. Consiglio 100% e tronerei di sicuro. Grazie di tutto.
La struttura non dispone di un proprio parcheggio, ma è possibile contattare il personale che vi aiuterà a trovare un posto auto nei dintorni.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Riad muy bonito en zona muy pintoresca de la medina. Entorno precioso. Las habitaciones muy bien . Desayuno muy bueno en la terraza con vistas. Personal muy amable, nos ayudaron a llevar las maletas hasta el riad.

Personale inesistente e disorganizzato, struttura non curata ( lenzuola rotte e rammendate) pulizia scarsa ( all'esterno mozziconi di sigaretta buttati dai ragazzi che lavoravano in albergo ed urina di gatto)

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025Hôtel très bien placé au coeur de la Médina. Lit confortable et terrasse agréable avec une belle vue.
Le personnel était très sympathique mais peu présent, déjeuner léger et équipement sommaire ( pas de shampoing, une petite savonnette pour deux, pas de bouteille d'eau.)

Reviewed Jul 18, 2025posto molto bello è accogliente, che si trova in mezzo alle strade tutte blu e a due passi da dalla piazza principale. Il riad è super pulito è curato in ogni dettaglio, la stanza molto spaziosa è la colazione abbondante è buonissima con prodotti freschi. il personale è stato molto cordiale è accogliente ( sempre con il sorriso ) Ci hanno pensato loro a trovarci un taxi è ci hanno accompagnato fino al punto di ritiro.
