The location was very good and the breakfast on the terrace was also very nice.

However our room didn’t have any windows with fresh outdoor air so there was a lot of humidity in the room and it was very unpleasant.

Reduoan nos atendió excelentemente, nos enseñó la ciudad entera, nos ofreció te marroquí y galletitas, es muy muy amable. El personal en general muy cercano, la cama grande, el desayuno excelente, la decoración preciosa, estaba limpio, etc

Bashir the host was very nice. I booked and paid the room the night before leaving from Tangiers. As my bus to Chauen was cancelled, I had to stay one night in Tetouan (interesting stop) and arrived one day later. It was no problem to shift the booking and I actually ended up staying one more day. Good location, nice room and rooftop terrace (a bit challenging for breakfast: if you want to enjoy the (good) breakfast, you have to stand the heat.

Usual annoyances with people insistingly asking you to buy chocolate or weed, or tryng to start a conversation when you are minding your own business at the door everytime you walk in or out. This is not a fault of Afra House, just a complication due to the location.

Super séjour dans ce Riad au centre de Chefchaouen L'accueil et le service sont vraiment à mettre en avant, merci à Rédouan et à Kaoutar pour leur gentillesse. Ce Riad a beaucoup de charme et est très confortable.

Super comms, met at the Parador after we blue taxied up, and shown to the House. Location was excellent. So much care has gone into making it feel v special and just like the pictures. Lovely breakfast served up in the terrace. Lovely hosts, Thankyou!

Il Riad è molto carino, intimo, curato e a 2 passi dalla piazza principale. Dispone di una bellissima terrazza con tante piantine in vasetti colorati dove viene servita la colazione.

​Mi spiace lasciare un punteggio basso per lo staff/i servizi, ma si tratta di una valutazione obiettiva. Abbiamo soggiornato qui una sola notte. Siamo arrivati verso le 18 e siamo stati accompagnati in stanza, un'ora dopo abbiamo scoperto che non c'era acqua calda (abbiamo provato a farla scorrere inutilmente per oltre 10 minuti). ​La struttura era vuota. Abbiamo tentato di contattare l'unico contatto fornito, sia messaggiando che chiamando, ma il silenzio è stato totale. La risposta è arrivata solo il giorno successivo, due ore dopo il check-out, spiegando che il titolare aveva avuto un problema di salute e che il ragazzo all'ingresso era un sostituto. ​Per una doccia fredda non muore nessuno, ma se per sbaglio avessimo dimenticato le chiavi in stanza avremmo passato la notte fuori. Gli imprevisti capitano, ma è responsabilità della struttura assicurare la presenza o la reperibilità di personale affidabile.

Het bed was heerlijk dus we hebben heel goed geslapen. Personeel was erg lief, mevrouw gaf ons ontbijt op de kamer toen ik aangaf dat mijn vriend ziek was.

El desayuno delicioso, las vistas desde la terraza, la decoración, limpieza, el Personal amable y te ayuda en lo que necesites, el wifi funciona bien. Las camas super cómodas. Tiene secador de pelo y está en un punto ubicado muy bueno para ir a la plaza Outa el Haman donde está la Alcazaba y hay restaurantes y tiendas, el punto neurálgico de la ciudad. Eso sí tener en cuenta que este tipo de alojamientos en esta zona tienen escaleras, no hay ascensor para la personas con dificultades.

No tengo ni una pega. Por decir algo igual una lamparita de noche no vendría mal en la mesita

Es un sitio espectacular, habitación muy cómoda, muy bien ubicado con hermosas vistas. Además hemos tenido la fortuna de conocer a Radwan, un gran anfitrión, muy atento todo el tiempo y nos ha dado mucho consejos de cómo conocer la ciudad. No duden en reservar en este alojamiento, te lo juro!

Afra House è un Riad incantevole. Molto accogliente e colorato. L'arredamento particolare rende questa struttura attraente. È situata in pieno centro ed è comunque tranquilla. Il personale cordiale e gentile. Siamo stati molto bene.

El desayuno con las vistas, el trato del personal, esta en plena Medina. La habitación y el baño son amplios.

A uno de los dos el colchón pero quiero que conste que el otro está en total desacuerdo.

Los múltiples bonitos detalles que hacen que la casa esté llena de miradas y objetos que no te puedes perder y te van a maravillar La distribución antigua de la casa con su tragaluz central desde la azotea hasta la planta baja , sus dos terrazas superiores La amabilidad de las personas que mantienen la casa , el rico y completo desayuno , nos hemos sentido como en casa Muy tranquila pero en la calle principal de La Medina , perfecta ubicación

Los trabajadores fueron muy agradables. Tuvimos un problema en la segunda habitación y lo resolvieron rápido.

Nos tocó una habitación que olía mucho a humedad, aún dejando las ventadas abiertas.. pedimos cambio de habitación y no tenían disponibles con cama doble, así que nos dejaron una habitación de dos camas de 90 disponible por 100dh más. Esa habitación si estaba bastante bien; Pero la primera... no repetiríamos... Menos mal estaba libre!!!

The location is central and the rooftop was nice like the photos. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Our room was very small and dark and had the smell of humidity. There were no windows, only one in the bathroom facing the corridor. Our “clean” towels were stained . It was so depressing we booked for 2 nights and stayed only one. I wish I had taken into account the negative comments before booking it.

Great location in the heart of the blue city. Nice staff, colourfull decoration, good wifi, very good breakfast up in the beautiful roof terrace. Amazing views all around!

The room has only a little heater. It was quite cold room, and moist too. I got a persistent cough, propably for the change of cold and warm. Cleaning could be better in the bath room; the tooth brush mug/glass was dirty with the tooth paste of client before me, when I came into the room first time.

The location was excellent, and the rooftop breakfast with a view over the city was absolutely amazing. The staff was also very kind and friendly.

The room we were given had no windows, so it felt quite dark, and some of the lightbulbs were not working, which made it even less comfortable.

Le Riad est super bien placé, joli, spacieux et propre. Au delà de ça, nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Bachar et son ami. Ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous, à chaque instant. Ce fut un réel plaisir de séjourner chez eux à Chefchaouen, on ne pouvait rêver mieux !

Все были прекрасно ! Атмосферный отель , с очень интересным дизайном , находится в удобно месте . Потрясающе вкусный завтрак и ребята пошли нам на встречу и приготовили для нас его по ранила что бы мы успели погулять по городу ! Прекрасный персонал помог с вещами и очень приветливые ребята .

everyone who worked there was kind, friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and the location of the riad was good, it’s inside the medina. i felt safe there and the view from the terrace is so nice. i would come back again.

Uns hat es im Afra House sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist super direkt mitten im Geschehen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist außergewöhnlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :)

Great location and wonderfull service

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the medina (but not too difficult to find or lug the bags to). Really quirky decor and a wonderful terrace that has beautiful views of the city and mountains. Breakfast was the same as all other accomodation but it was great to have eggs and fresh cheese (rather than the processed triangles). Beds were comfortable and we had extra thick blankets to keep us warm. The staff were helpful in booking us a driver to the airport. The list of things we didn't like seems long, but I would recommend this place for the price and when it isn't cold and wet.

The room could have been cleaner (e.g. the rug needed a good vacuum or bash outside). We stayed 3 days, no one came to clean which is okay for a value guesthouse like this, but we had to use our own plastic bags to empty the bathroom bin each day. Most of the time we were in the guesthouse on our own, with no staff around. This is fine as we had a key for the front door and were able to communicate by WhatsApp, but it would take them a few hours to reply. We were there during a very cold and wet time (unusual for Morocco) and found the room very cold and damp despite the heater.

Very cosy breakfast and a really nice host. some staff only spoke Spanish, so a translation was needed, but he was very kind and welcoming.

The room was on the top floor next to the terrace, which made it very cold, and the heater wasn’t working properly. The check-in process was also not very smooth, as we had to wait outside the door for about 10–15 minutes.

Pozione centrale e comoda, il portone d'ingresso si trova su una delle vie principali. Terrazzo spettacolare con vista mozzafiato. Colazione abbondante e buona. C'è anche una cucina in comune molto spaziosa di cui si può usufruire. Camera pulita. Personale accogliente e disponibile.

Tolle Unterkunft! Zenrtral und trotzdem sehr ruhig und entspannend. Sehr angenehme und hilfsbereite Menschen hier. Schöne Dachterrasse und leckeres Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super Lage mitten in der Medina. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze befinden sich außerhalb der Medina. Um die Unterkunft bei Ankunft zu finden benötigt man Jemanden, der den Weg kennt. Sehr schönes Ambiente, besonders der Aufenthaltsbereich ist stimmungsvoll und bunt gestaltet, leider wirkt es unbelebt. Unser Zimmer war kleiner als erwartet, dennoch schön ausgestattet. Das Bad hat uns nicht gefallen. Das Personal, welches wir nur zum Frühstück gesehen haben, war sehr freundlich und stellt sich auf kleinere Wünsche zum Frühstück ein. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderbar mit Blick über die Dächer der Medina und Richtung Berge.

Room was small, not well ventilated and humid, not much place to store and open luggage, shortage of hot water in the shower, aging bathroom equipment. After spending one month in Morocco, I think the cost is too high for the quality offered.

Très bon séjour à l'Afra House Bachar et le personnel présent étaient adorables et très serviables Avant notre arrivée nous avons reçu toutes les recommandations nécessaires Nous avons pu nous garer facilement non loin de la maison d'hôtes et Bachar est venu nous accueillir sur le parking et nous a aidé à porter nos bagages Le logement est décoré avec soin et témoigne par sa décoration d'une belle ouverture sur le monde et les voyages. Son emplacement est au cœur de la Médina et vraiment très bien situé. Le petit déjeuner le matin était excellent et servi avec beaucoup de soin et d'attentions. Le logement n'est pas bruyant et plutôt calme durant le mais les portes sont fines donc si vous êtes légèrement sensible au bruit peut-être prévoir le nécessaire Comme nous sommes au coeur de la Médina certaines chambres sont dépourvues de fenêtres donc bien se renseigner si cet élément vous dérange mais juste pour dormir le soir cela ne nous a vraiment pas dérangé La literie est assez confortable (nous avions un lit en 140) Nous recommandons cet maison d'hôtes car elle est un excellent rapport qualité-prix sur Chefchaouen et idéalement située

At the beginning we had a little misunderstanding about the room booking as our room was without a window (your only window is on the inner stairs) was not convenient but Bachar was very helpful and the next day we moved to another room on the roof, the view is amazing, rooms are very clean and breakfast is another great option, totally recommend

El Riad es precioso, con una decoración exquisita y está situado en la Medina en un sitio céntrico y cómodo de llegar. El desayuno es muy bueno y se agradece que sea en la terraza pues las vistas son excelentes. Edouan es un anfitrión estupendo que te ofrece ayuda y consejos sobre qué visitar.

De ligging was ideaal en gemakkelijk vindbaar met Google maps.

De eigenaar was meer bezig met z’n eigen dingen en leek het gastheerschap er een beetje bij te doen. Door de vele accesoires op de kamer leek er in tijden niet goed gepoetst te zijn. Het toiletpapier was heel snel op. Vervolgens wacht je 45 min op nieuw toiletpapier. Gastvrijheid was hier ver te zoeken. Het zat er gewoon niet in.
