Almost everything. The rain couldn’t get in that’s about it. It was dirty, water pressure was shocking. Out dated and so much work needs done. Oven dirty, pot was black everything needs chucked out and start again.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026We stayed in the Studio unit which was very spacious. Arrived on a miserable wet winters day. Heat pump was on for our arrival and the unit was cosy. The bed was very comfortable (I even noted its brand as we may get one). The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is an easy walk to town, yet off the main road so nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026When we drove up we were surprised at the age of the complex I would guess to be 1960s. However we were pleasantly surprised by the living room and bedroom which looked newly updated. The bathroom and kitchen were of the original era but worked as well as some modern motels,
Some extra shelf space would have been appreciated in the kitchen beside the microwave - something like the unit the TV was sitting on. For anyone self-catering while on their travels you tend to have a chilly bin, bags of fruit, etc.

NO hay nadie que atienda el negocio. Cuando llegas, hay un papel en la puerta de la oficina que pone tu nombre y la habitación que tienes asignada y la llave está dentro colgada en la puerta. El frigorífico no funcionaba y nadie se responsabilizó. Intentamos contactar y fue muy complicado y al final os dijeron que eso es lo que había y que no se podía hacer nada.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026We chose to stay in Kurow initially to Break our trip, It added to my Enjoyment to find the town the Birthplace of "Mr. Offside" even an Australian can acknowledge one of the Greats of Rugby, The motel is strait 60's nostalgia with nice plans for the future. We Loved The plans for Room 7 All black as a tribute. Easy walk to town 2 great Pubs and good Restaurant, friendly people, a nice place to visit. The website accurately describes what to expect. Didn't like that there was NO MILK, Had to purchase milk from the shop. Went to have a shower that night the control knob fell off, had to turn control with fingers. Next morning went to have a shower, no pressure from hot water, cold water worked, but hot water dripped out. On departure we let the cleaner know.

The decor and fittings probably date from the 1960's, so well overdue for a refurbish. Walls between units very thin with no sound insulation; so could follow conversations from next door unit.

The place is very retro and unique! My husband loved the '70s vibe in the kitchen nook. The house was clean and in a quiet location. The bed was very comfortable with crisp linens. We had a great sleep.
