Tess, the owner was lovely and friendly. Place is spotless and has excellent heating.

Shower was suboptimal, but nothing to worry about. That's about it.

Good size apartment

T.V wouldn't work and sent messages and no one came to look. Didn't see a single staff the whole time we we're here. They just left the key in the door.

I really liked how the unit is very self contained, even down to having everything you need to cook a meal in the kitchen.

The only things were the door handle mechanism made a lot of noise when entering and exiting the front door to the unit and the heaters weren't turned on prior to our arrival, although we selected later arrival so it was very cold when we arrived (no homely feeling opening the door during a winter night)

The motel was clean and well set up, the rooms were spacious and warm with the radiator heating.

The bed had a bit of a roll together but otherwise was comfortable

The room has everything you want and need for a break away. Full kitchen with stove top and a great range of utensils and kitchen items etc. dining room area and lounge area. It was very clean and well maintained.

The bed was comfy and clean. Once the radiators had been on awhile, it was very warm (far too hot eventually so turn radiators down when you go to bed). Good kitchen. It was mostly very clean but there were some issues that were really gross.

Unfortunately, the unit smelt really bad. We managed to trace the odour to the throw blanket on the bed, which felt and smelt like it hadn't been washed in an extremely long time. The smell was so bad it was stinking out the whole unit. The bed cover underneath smelt too where the blanket had been resting on it. We had to put both outside on the deck. There was something down the wall of the toilet that looked like dried vomit? Urine? I don't know but it wasn't nice. I didn't want to stay because of the smell, but there are no staff onsite and it was prepaid and I couldn't be bothered trying to sort it out via booking .com, since sheets and rest of the unit was very clean. The "sofa/bed" is an ancient collapsed futon, looks dirty, plus its very uncomfortable to sit on. These simply need replacing and there's no excuse for having this terrible furniture for paying guests. The extra duvet for the bed had stains on the cover... the kitchen and bathroom were very clean, but the other issues let it down.

Well kitted out, good kitchen options, good heating (visit was in the winter). Close to local supermarket, coffee shop, bakery, pub.

10/10 we were very happy with our stay, we arrived a bit later than we expected which wasn’t a problem for Tess she had our room ready and warm for us, we then ran into a bit of car trouble ( what the hecka) again wasn’t a issue Tess allowed us to check out late even held the room as a just in case!

While the Apartments were clean they were we thought tired and in need of some upgrade. Bed comfortable,

TV did not operate in the 2 apartments we had. Sofa seat not in great order . No on site manager apparent - we had prepaid and keys left in doors for us

I felt the bathroom needed a blind as the window opens to shared carport and I wasn’t sure if I was illuminated! But I’m probably nit picking

This little motel is superb. The rooms have everything you need. It is spotlessly clean. It is located right in town. It is a great option for a family or friends vacation

Spotlessly clean, water radiators gave plenty of heat, great access to bathroom from different rooms. We appreciated the carport for our car when unpacking in the rain. We would stay here again.

Very clean facilities. The price was amazing for the value of the private suite, which also came with toiletries.

The couch is very low & somewhat difficult to get up from. Tv remotes instruction would be welcome.

It was easy to find, clean and had everything you needed for a 1 night stay.

We arrived a little late, we received a text letting us know the key was in the door and number of unit, after a long drive, there was no need to look for someone just enter unit and relax. It was private, staff came during the day at visual request to service. The location was fantastic central to lots of walks. Unit was very clean with extra blankets and pillows We highly recommend a stay at the Catilin Area Motel.

Rooms are a good size, kitchen was really well appointed. Everything was clean and the service from the owner/operator was fantastic

Das Appartment ist komplett eingerichtet, die Lage ist super, das Auto steht geschützt unter einem Carport direkt voor der Tür. Die Anlage ich sehr gut unterhalten und sehr nett. Die Sonne geht unter auf der Hinterseite wo eine klein Bank steht, herrlicher Platz!

Roomy unit with own covered packing. Owaka not big, so location is about as central as could be. Off the main road so very quiet. 2x Single beds not what we expected, but were comfortable. Tess (owner) very friendly as gave good advice on where to get a good meal (Lumberjack).

It was a roomy space, not at all cramped. On a quiet street but close enough to the main street. Nice spot out the front to sit with a cup of tea and watch the day dwindle. Well-equiped kitchen and a nice selection of teas, coffee & cocoa. Good value accommodation.

Easy to find, comfortable.

Shower was terrible , like a dribble down the wall which couldn’t be adjusted, only way to increase the pressure was to make it unbearably hot.

Cleaned comfortable bed.Kitchen was cleaned and well equipped. Motel is easily located.

We stayed in a 3 people, 2 beds apartment. The toilet and bathroom should have a latch to provide privacy.
