Its very clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable

I loved my stay here. The holiday park is really relaxing and peaceful, with awesome views of the mountains and Akaroa harbour. The staff I met were all friendly, efficient and attentive, and the facilities are all clean and fresh. I had a cabin which I thought was excellent value for money, and I'd definitely love to return here one day!

Uitzicht over Akaroa is fantastisch en de omgeving is heerlijk rustig. Goeie speeltuin aanwezig en game room.

Dunne muurtjes van de slaapkamer. We moesten 's avonds still zijn toen onze zoon in bed lag. Grote bed is iets smaller dan we gewend zijn maar ligt erg lekker.

The location was awesome, the views, clean.

All the emails were overloaded with rules.

I loved that the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and I had a fridge and kettle and coffee and tea in my cabin so I could make endless amounts of hot drinks. The view was amazing and bathrooms were close to rooms as well

Clean room, great location walking distance from main town and walking tracks. Enjoyed a really comfy bed, specially after long hard hike. Liked that I was able to cook my meals on stove top.

would've loved for the hedge in front of the balcony to be a bit lower to view scenery better when seated. Could hear and feel doors slammed from next door unit or camper vans parked in front close to the unit I was in, which sometimes gave me a jump when I was havin g a quiet evening.

Bathroom facilities were not as clean as they used to be. Spoons at least could have been supplied…we had little wooden spoons which were of no use really.

Car park close to cabin. Grounds neat and tidy. Showers were hot. Great views of Akaroa.

The 4 cabins together do not have sound proof walls and the group of young girls in cabin 2 talked ALL night until 5am. Confusing which deck seating belonged to which cabin.

The parks facilities were great. Clean toilets, hot showers with 6 mins use! hairdryer in ladies. The kitchen area had many toasters, microwaves, hot plates, cooking utensils and even tea towels and wahing up liquid! There is also a laundry area with washers and dryers. There are drying areas near the cabins. There is an outdoor pool but didnt use. The view of bay is beautiful. The pathway down to the town takes 10 mins. It was lit up thankfully on our return to the site at 7pm.

All the electric sockets in the cabin are grouped together on 1 wall so the heater was right next to the fridge! The steps on the pathway dow. to the town need refilling with mud to make the climb a little more comfortable!

Exceptional view from our 1br villa / cottage. It is billed as 2br but is actually 1br and a queen bed in the main area. That did not detract at all though, infact it was quite nice to lay in bed and enjoy the view, The villa was very clean and really well stocked with equipment, tea, coffee etc. The park is close to the town centre and has excellent facilities.

Nothing at all. I could not fault this place.

My two friends and I loved absolutely everything about top ten holiday park and if I could review it higher I would. Just fantastic.

Location was perfect just a short drive into the town of Akaroa. The view of Akaroa was awesome with the sunset.

Stayed in a self contained apartment which was great, could just hear the people in the cabin next door easily and suppose they could hear us.

Lovely & clean with plenty of heaters. Good equipment in kitchen.

There seemed to be an awful lot of rules!

Great location, easy to find, lovely— this was our favourite accomodation we stayed in . So close to town but with a beautiful view over Akaroa. It was peaceful and communal. The shared facilities are excellent and clean. We made lots of friends and it had a wonderful vibe. Would stay there again 100%. It has a playground and excellent laundry. Close to everything including easy parking, food and supermarket.

Short info for cooking requires cutlery. No towels had to pay for use .

Clean Room and clean bathrooms

It was all amazing. The whole property was so tidy and clean. The unit was amazing. I loved the pool too. Staff was so helpful and the whole experience as great.

Just outside the town, unfortunately there was a massive rainstorm and Akaroa got cut off for a couple of days while we were there. The staff were fantastic, they kept us informed and we needed to book in for an extra night as all the roads were closed. They did the best they could for everyone given the circumstances, well done! We cooked in the campers kitchen, all went perfect.

When we got there they had double booked so we had to move to another motel, this motel was fine but wasn’t what we payed for, the owner was nice to drive us over there but not ideal

The room facilities were non- existant. Had to hire a towel! What a mean spirited organisation that manages this place. No toaster, cutlery/crockery unless you hired that for $5.... got to be kidding. I know the kitchen was stocked however I wanted my privacy to some degree. NOT A PLACE FOR ME. Kim Shearn

Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. As soon as we walked into the cabin, there was a very strong musty smell that was immediately noticeable and unpleasant. The odour was overwhelming and seemed to come from the old carpet, which smelt damp, as though the room had previously been wet. Within no more than 15 minutes of being in the room, my partner suffered an asthma attack, which was extremely concerning and left us with no option but to leave immediately. The air quality felt poor and unsafe, particularly for anyone with respiratory issues. Given the circumstances, we returned the key and had to abandon our stay altogether, heading to Christchurch in pouring rain to find alternative accommodation. It was a stressful and upsetting experience, and not something anyone should have to deal with after arriving for what should have been a relaxing stay. Sadly, we would not stay here again and hope the owners address the condition of the cabin, particularly the carpet and ventilation, to prevent this from happening to others.

Das Appartment war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zudem war das Personal ausgesprochen nett. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf die Bucht.

Nous avons bénéficié d'un bungalow à proximité des sanitaires et de la cuisine collective. Tout est en très bon état et très propre. Les lieux sont vraiment agréables et l'accueil chaleureux.

Petite cabine très confortable. Le frigo un gros plus. Les sanitaires communs sont proches des cabines. L’endroit très calme avec une jolie vue

Un peu cher

We loved the location, and having a self contained bathroom. It was peaceful and close to town.

I didn’t like having to wash dishes we had used and put them away again, I realise this is an expectation in a camp if you use the kitchens but when you pay what we did for a cabin we didn’t think this should be an expectation. It also means that the next occupants are guaranteed clean dishes if cleaned by camp staff because not all guests would clean dishes properly.
