Jenggala Hill

We loved our family holiday at Jenggala Hill! Staff were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful, accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the pool was incredible! JResto, the restaurant next door, can deliver food and drink to your room or the pool – very delicious cocktails! The location is perfect, close to everything. Short walk down a set of stairs to the beach and boardwalk. Would be tricky if you had mobility issues, but fine for us – great way to work off the delicious food and drinks! The view is definitely worth the walk. We can’t wait to visit again.

One of the best views on the island from the infinity pool and the restaurant and from the villa we stayed in. We have stayed at Jenggala Hill several times now and everything about it from the facilities to the staff are consistently outstanding. We will be back again soon .

淋浴的热水供应不太稳定，水量和温度都不够充足，尤其是在傍晚洗澡时感觉明显，希望酒店能改进热水系统。

The staff are friendly and helpful. The view is amazing. The infinity pool is sensational. The restaurant was great (we only had breakfast and snacks).

Het uitzicht is echt fantastisch. Kamers zijn prima en wij vonden het heerlijk dat er een ontbijt alla cart was. Er is dus een restaurant bij met een prima kaart, ook voor kinderen.

De naam zegt het al, het zit op een berg en ze hebben geen shuttle. We hebben een scooter gehuurd, maar daarvoor ben je niet verzekerd (is namelijk een motor).

The view from the pool and most rooms is amazing. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The location is great; 100,000rupiah can get you to most places on the island from the hotel (taxi drivers will try for more money however 100,000rupiah is absolutely the going rate). Cocktails and lunch at the pool were nice.

The bathroom is dark and dingy, and needs a very good clean, and ideally needs to be renovated. We were part of a large group who stayed in various rooms and showers were either reported as: no hot water, only hot water, no water pressure. Skip the restaurant all together: think Faulty Towers! One particular staff member was rude on more than one occasion. Ingredients (including milk!) ran out. I was charged for food which was already part of the food order (ie. continental breakfast) the charge was only a couple of dollars so there was no use complaining, however it was a disappointing occurrence. Watch the last stair on the landing of the restaurant - it’s a death trap! The landing is dark and the last stair is much lower than the other stairs; members of our group tripped up or fell down and a few hurt themselves.

The property was exactly as pictured. The view from the pool was stunning. Staff were very friendly. The food from the restaurant was quite nice. Easy to get transport to and from drop off points.

The pool and view from the pool is amazing. The bungalows are spacious; I love the authentic balinese style of the room and facilities. Housekeeping was excellent, nice breakfast menu.

The juices and smoothies were all very tasteless, definitely needs improvement.

The view is amazing, pool great with comfortable rooms and beds. Its a little walk up some stairs but nothing to be scared off. Lifts are easy to find from the main village. The staff were great.

Very minor gripes but the pool could be a little chilly and breakfast starts at 8, which was too late for me as I was going diving.

The view is out of this world, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are comfortable and super clean.

We loved how it was a small resort with amazing views and pool area. The rooms were lovely and roomy with the deck outside with table and chairs. Reception were always happy to help arrange us a taxi and there correspondence was great prior to our arrival. They even arranged our return transfers and ferry trips. Thank you Jenggala Hill, you will be back

The stairs are long from the bottom of the hill however if you have a bike it's no problems at all.

Uitzicht is geweldig, heerlijk klein resort met alles wat je wilt. Personeel super aardig. Top infinity Pool;).

Niets, wellicht soms de trap naar boven maar ach zo nu en dan een taxi is ook prima.

We stayed in the family room which was spacious and a lot of privacy. We had outside couches to relax on. Stunning views. 10 minute walk to town down steps. Great location! Thank you we plan to return

Vanuit de accommodatie en vanaf het zwembad heb je een fantastisch uitzicht over het strand en de zee. Verder is alles erg netjes, met heerlijk ruime accommodaties. In het echt is alles veel mooier dan op de getoonde foto’s. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hadden voor ons de boot transfer en pick-up geregeld. Kom graag nog eens terug.

Location is great, up a small hill. Even from up there, you still have easy access to Coconut Beach (only a 10-minute walk, pedestrian path). Staff is amazing, and I strongly recommend the restaurant just above the hotel.

Jenggala Hill was perfect for our group of 3 families travelling together. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The pool was incredible and the views from across the property were stunning. The staff were friendly and the food was yum

Everything was great. It's worth noting that its a bit of a walk from the beach and main strip back to the hotel, but managable and there are always other transport options. It's worth it for the view

The location is incredible - Undoubtedly the best view on the island. The size of the property was also great allowing lots of privacy in a unique and secluded setting with a limited number of guests and bungalows spread out. Access to everything was easy with a road for transport options or steps down to great bars, restaurants, spas and beachfront cafes. The on-site restaurant also offered great food and drink options with poolside service. We will stay again!

Water pressure in shower was weak and TV was located in an odd place. Towels could be updated. None of these things would impact our decision to return but might be important for others to know.

This place is stunning! The view, the infinity pool, the comfort of the rooms, I loved every part and wish I stayed longer! The bed was really comfortable, I loved the view from my room, the bathrooms were really pretty with the pebble floor. I thought it was really good value for money comparative to other places nearby. The view overlooking the whole of the ocean at jungut Batu was honestly stunning. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location overlooking the coast. Very central location with the beach, bars and restaurants a short bike ride away. All of the facilities were in excellent condition and the pool and grounds were maintained immaculately. The staff were so helpful in assisting us with transfers and booking activities.

The best view on Lembongan! We had the family double room and to wake up to those views was priceless! Still has an authentic Indonesian feel to it Nike the flashie white villas which could be anywhere in the world.

The water didn’t stay hot for long in shower, but who wants a hot shower in the heat anyway.

The cottages are nice and the views are beautiful.

Our balcony was very hot but there was no fan provided (we stayed at rooms no 205 & 206). And for the price that’s similar to a 5-star hotel, it was quite surprising and highly disappointing to get such a bad quality of service and attitude from the staff. No breakfast was offered, not even a simple pancake & coffee, which was standard even for inns that are 10x cheaper. Bottled waters were not automatically provided (we had to ask for water). Leftover food and plates we ordered from the restaurants were not cleared up and cleaned unless we asked. During check out, nobody came to help us with our luggages up the stairs, even though we’ve told the receptionist more than an hour before the time we needed to check out. The receptionist was rude and refused to give us the receipts for our restaurant orders, saying we should just take a picture of the total amount he wrote on a piece of paper and said he could not print or make copies of the receipts because the machine is broken & the receipts had to be given to the owner. When we insisted we had to be given receipts, he tried to somehow blame us for wanting the receipts and told us we should’ve let him know earlier that we wanted receipts. What??? I used to really love this place, but unfortunately, if the service quality is not improved and the staff is not trained properly, I would not come back. There are other beautiful places that are actually worth the 5-star price.

Pool has the most amazing view ever. Rooms were nice and clean. Beds were super comfortable which is a plus and staff were lovely. Would 100% stay again!

We were so happy with the location, close to everything but much quieter. The view was spectacular, the staff beautiful, the food and beverages great, the infinity pool wonderful, it was a relaxing and comfortable stay. The short ride to playgrounds, surf break was a bonus. We would stay again and recommend to families and couples wanting a quieter place to base yourself while you explore Lembongan from.

This place has it all it’s been an amazing stay and probably a highlight of all our travels ever, the view and pool have been a highlight and the staff - including up at jresto restaurant were delightful - will come back to Bali just so we can stay here Everything is a positive - the view - the staff - the rooms - the services - the pool Perfect !

What a little gem of a property. The views are spectacular and the room had a lovely view to Jungutbatu beach and the volcano also. We hired motorbikes so being up the hill wasnt a problem, and we walked up and down the steps a few times also and it wasnt as bad as we expected. Breakfast isnt included but we kind of liked that as we got to go out and explore and try some really yummy breakfasts at local cafes. Lago down the hill was convenient and delicious.

We had a lovely stay here. The view and pool area is to die for, the photos don't do it justice! The garden is beatiful too, and we enjoyed the meals at the onsite restaurant. The rooms are great too, though we didn't love the bathroom, and the WiFi was quite weak. It's a little out of town but easy to get to anywhere with scooters we rented from reception. Overall a great stay!

The staff are outstanding, going above and beyond to help and so friendly. I forgot my medication when we left and it was put on a boat to me within the hour. Excpetional service. Also the infinity pool is stunning with the gorgeous view.

The steps down to town were an issue for me as I have osteoarthritis but it’s worth being high up for the captivating beach views.

The view was amazing especially from the pool area. The infinity pool was very nice as well.

My room wouldn't lock and it took some persisting to get it fixed so I could lock it at night, though it was repaired same day. The food could be better. We ate there for dinner one night but wouldn't again.

Amazing place to stay for our family of four, a 4.5 yo & 7 month old, for 9 nights, look no further!!! Clean rooms and the pool is unforgettable! Short walk to the foreshore down 100 or so steps next door, and scooters can be hired to see the rest of the island. Lots of restaurants offer free pickup and drop off service which we highly recommend.(message on WhatsApp) Balinese owned too

Through no fault of the hotel the place that does food onsite is a miss despite having lovely staff, pop over to Karanas for food (5min walk) or get a free pickup to Nics place (Balinese owned) for a great feed

Stunning view from the infinity pool. Only a short drive to the main area. Room was clean and tidy. Friendly staff.

Wifi was very average. The TV in the room has an extremely bright light so we ended up unplugging it to get better sleep. Shower goes lukewarm pretty quickly.

Money was stolen from our room safely deposit box. Staff were very unhelpful in finding out who took the money. Only staff had keys to safety boxes.

The views are exceptional.

Overall we had a good stay, however some areas of the hotel could use a bit of maintenance and updating as they are starting to feel quite old and worn.
