Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Clean & comfy place to stay. Less than 1 min walk yo the supermarket, cafes and the pub. Short drive to Moeraki Boulders. Has everything you need. Excellent little kitchen.
The AC is the heater but doesn't really warm the bedroom in the family suite very well. Thankfully there is a heated blanket on the bed and some warm bedding. Shower is nice and warm but not the strongest.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026We enjoyed our stay at Moeraki Boulders Motels. The staff were very helpful & friendly. It was easy to book 'on line' & the owners gave a very helpful guide to find the Motels.
Because of the low pressure from the shower we feel a different 'Ajax valve' or one similar could give customers more shower water pressure in the future.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Easy to find. Booked an extra night last minute which was quickly responded to. Staff (owners possibly) that I met were both friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were great. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable.
Left our unit securely locked and went away for the day. Returned to find that the room had been serviced (unexpected in a 2 night stay but appreciated), however during the servicing 3 windows had been opened and left wide open - including 1 right next to the door allowing anyone who wished to stick their arm in and unlock the door.

Deep smell in the room from nearby outdoor fires. Dated basic motel with some tired furniture could use a refresh.
