Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We rented 3 cabins for our group of six and were assigned ones close together. One of the cabins was a bit bigger, so that’s where we congregated to visit and eat dinner. It also had an entrance with just two steps which helped for my mother with limited mobility.
The bigger cabin had a few issues. The bathroom door handle came off and one of the bedroom blinds fell down. The other two cabins were in perfect condition.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Location was perfect for us. We came to explore Gos Morne and spent time in Deer Lake at the Fish Truck, the ice cream shop we found down the street and the Insectarium was sooooo amazing.
Was a bit sad that there was a fire ban. There was a large fire pit at Lush’s that was stocked with wood. Would have liked to enjoy that but it was nobody’s fault.

We liked that it provided more room than a hotel, it met all our needs for our purpose and the host was responsive via text to our comments of arriving later than expected. The unit was VERY clean. Payment and access to the unit was easy and convenient.
Our ONLY comment is about the bed -- we found it uncomfortable as we kept rolling into the center of the mattress.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Quiet and clean. Was so disappointed when we opened the door to be blasted by heavy cleaning supply odours. Wished that it had been aired out as made it very unpleasant. The place was comfortable enough and had everything we needed.
The barbecue was dirty and wouldn't light. We always take bbq grill sheets for this reason.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026overall we enjoyed our stay at lush’s cottages. we chose it because it was central to where we wanted to be for our planned activities during our trip.
the cottages were obviously in the middle of renovations - my cottage was renovated inside but not outside, my parent’s cottage was renovated outside but not inside, and my sister’s cottage wasn’t renovated at all. to be completely honest, my sister’s cottage was in very very rough shape and should not have been rented at all. the floors were extremely soft in spots and parts of the bathroom floor were held down with packing tape. for anyone wanting to stay at a place with a view, this isn’t the place. lovely view of trees and mountains but no ocean view. i bet it would be absolutely stunning in the winter! some notes for the staff: some BBQ utensils would be nice to have as none of our cottages had those, a newer BBQ would be nice too as ours was old and would not light (we used my parents’) , and a place to sit to relax in cottage 6 would be nice as well (no chairs at all aside from dining).

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026We rented two cabins for one night. We were assigned one cabin that had been recently renovated and was fresh and lovely with all new fittings and comfortable furniture.
Our second cabin was not renovated, and while it was clean, it was not even nearly as nice as the renovated unit. The beds were unbelievably loud and creaky, the couch was extremely old, low and saggy. The bathroom door would not stay open so it was like a sauna. Both cabins were very clean. As a suggestion, a less scented cleaner would be appreciated.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The cottage itself was very modern, clean, and nicely designed, and overall we enjoyed our stay. It had a cozy feel while still looking updated and well kept.
The Wi-Fi connection in the cottage was fairly weak during our stay, which made it difficult to use at times. I had to disconnect my phone to connect the TV as connection was so weak even using the wifi connection listed upon checkin. The bathroom sink also had very low water pressure, and we had to set up the Roku TV ourselves using a personal account in order to access streaming services.
