There was a known power cut but this was not made known to me at the time of booking. Therefore the hot tub could not be used which is why we booked the expensive accommodation. When I requested a partial refund the compensate the owner was dismissive and extremely unhelpful claiming they tried to contact me saying I could cancel the booking by which time it was too late to make other arrangements. The power was out from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm, most of the day and we were unsure if we would have any power over the cold night. I would not stay here again

Plenty of utensils and cooking options in the camp kitchen. The owners were very helpful in directing us to the information centre which meant we got so much more out of our trip than set world have.
The kettle looked like it boiled but the water was warm, in the unit.

Guest in adjoining room smoking a cigarette on the balcony - that was connected to our room also - so we had to close our glass sliding door to keep the smoke and smell out.

Reviewed May 8, 2026The staff here were super friendly and welcoming. The games room was fun. We enjoyed a game of pool. Plenty of power points, the parking was good, as was the on site laundry. We even had an air fryer.
The stairs are all out in the weather which makes it tricky to cart luggage up and down, specially when you are dealing with west coast rain. The room was very humid. Some of the beds had quite a bit of a lean to one side.

The property is great, the town closes early. I think the grocery store closed at 6, so be aware.
