Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The kettle is too old and inside is yellow. New kettles needed. Also we had to struggle to put the TV on. The receptionist couldn't help either. Please check if the TV is functioning before receiving a new guest. Thanks!

Electric blankets on the bed, not a fan of these and they are often not the best to sleep on. However if you feel the cold they are great.

The outside light was on all night and shone like a light house through my room. There were no food options for later on . and those coffee sachets... well, they are just wrong... make management only drink those for a week and they might up grade!! hehehe

No one on reception, not really a problem as a phone call and reception person came. A funny smell in bathroom and mold in shower. Kitchenette not really a kitchenette as had to wash cutlery and plates in bathroom sink. Not really ideal

The property is fine, but a bit ‘tired’. The bathroom has an odd feature - an exhaust fan comes on and runs for 8 minutes anytime the bathroom light is switched on. Makes sense when the shower is being used, but not during the night if someone wants to use the toilet.

We were told the restaurant would be closing at 8.30 but when we got we were informed that the restaurant was closed but they did agree to cook us some dinner but was then told that the bar was closing. I was embarrassed as I had a friend from Wales with me and he was not very impressed at all with our treatment.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The motel is quiet and well appointed. I felt very safe in the room. Also, the fact that I could park right outside the room was a bonus. I would be happy to stay again. Competitively priced.
The TV was so darn complicated to use that I ended up not watching it at all. A standard TV with a SKY program is all that is needed. The coffee in the room is of the 'instant' variety. A coffee plunger and some ground coffee would have capped off a great stay.
