La atención 100% personalizada de Mohamed, Youseff y Salah, ya que éramos los únicos huéspedes del apartamento y nos hicieron sentir muy agusto y satisfechos en todos los sentidos.
Nada
the guys at the camp are very entertaining, extremely friendly and fun to have around! Food was excellent! Camel Sunrise tour - This was a very very unique experience, the camel are living at the place, which was a very important part for myself to do such a thing as camel riding tours! The tour is more a little walk through the dunes, but hey do you wanna carry some dump asses around? Me neither! Good value for the money!
There is nothing to complain about!!
Camera carina e spaziosa, cena buona.
Troppo caldo in camera e moltissime zanzare, non siamo riusciti a dormire. Peccato.
Everything was great! Easy communication, detailed information in advance on activitiesl and the cute camels, which are family members and treated exceptionally well. We enjoyed an amazing sunset ride and the camels Casanova and Orion roamed freely on the dunes while we waited. No other camels have been treated like that. The camelman took a lot of pictures of us and was very patient, friendly and helpful. The staff is in general super friendly, always helping and taking great care of their guests. Special thanks to Mohammed and all the team for making our stay such an experience! The pick up was easy and on time, Youssef is a great driver and fun guy - we loved cruising the dunes with him. The camp is a bit further away than other camps, which is very nice, ie at night. It also cares about ecofriendlyness, which was an important factor for us upon choosing a camp. The food was delicious and the ladies in the kitchen are lovely. We also very much enjoyed the traditional music after dinner and that they made us participate. The tents are very comfy, spotless clean and equipped with private bathrooms. There are also many opportunities to relax on the property. 200% recommended if you are looking for an exceptional experience in the stunning sand dunes of Erg Chebbi!
Think one of the best places to stay in The desert. Its small scale, authentic and quiet. Next to the amazing camels, the team made our day. Making us feel really welcome, learning us the djembee, playing games. Everything is well organized
We had a great experience. We happened to be the only guests on the one night we stayed there, and everyone did their best to make our stay special. It is a nice micro-location - even though not far from the town, once you're at the camp you feel as if you are all secluded in the middle of the desert - much more so than at a number of the other camps around. The furnishings are nice and comfortable
Het personeel is super vriendelijk en de locatie is prachtig en afgelegen!
Niks
The Desert Palace is truely a small paradise. It is a beautiful small-scale camp, the camels are well cared for, the staff is helpfull, friendly and welcoming, the tents are magnicificent. And, the food is amazing. The beeftajine and the soup were the best we had in Marocco so far! We would 100% recommend staying here!
The only downside, but I think that is more to do with Erg Chebbi in general, it is busy. Camps are close together, and there are a lot of 4x4s and quads driving around. So if you are looking for the experience of being alone in the desert, Erg Chebbi is not the place to be. That being said, this camp is relatively peaceful compared to the others!
The staff & Mohammed were so kind and accomodating. The food was delicious and plentiful. Rooms were incredibly luxury for being in the desert, hot water, shower pressure, king bed. Good games available, drumming shows & fire at night. Honestly could not fault this place please stay here.
Nothing
Locatie. Op de rand van de duiden.
Tout était parfait !
Il faisait très chaud
What an amazing location to spend the night in the desert. The camp itself is build in a more traditional way compared to the other ‘luxury camps’. The staff is super friendly and very professional. The tents are very spacious and each tent jas its own seperate bath room. The dinner as well as the breakfast were delicious. After dinner we were entertained with some traditional music and even got to play along with the staff. If you have doubts were to boom your desert stay, I would highly recommend ali & saea’s desert palace as it feel way more authentic!! And ofcourse, the surroundings are absolutely amazing.
Nothing
Nice experience in a desert camp as we expected. The fact that the tenta are « traditional » os a plus va what we saw around us. The personal was very kind and with a lot of attention . Food was delicious. The lady in charge is a chef
Need some deep maintenance to look as it was
This was a wonderful experience and designed with sensitivity to the surrounding environment. Our tent was comfortable, clean, and fun. The camp had shaded areas to catch the occasional breeze and shelter from the desert sun. Wonderful food considering the location and staff offering the best of Moroccan hospitality.
Location was gorgeous
Lots of mosquitos at night
We had a wonderful time at Ali and Sarah’s. The locals beautifully set in a protected area among the dunes. The meals and camel rides were great. We were warmly welcomed by Mohamed who filled us in on everything we needed to know for our stay.
Nothing comes to mind.
Really nice authentic personal place.
Nothing to improve.
We had an excellent stay at the Desert Palace. The camp is beautifully designed and decorated. Every detail has been carefully thought about. The experience was extremely well organised from the information given ahead of our stay to the logistics of pick up, parking and so on. Mohammed and the team couldn't have been more attentive and the experience felt very personalised. We absolutely loved the dune buggy and would recommend it as an alternative to the sunset camel ride. While you are aware that there are lots of other camps in the area, the experience didn't feel overly touristy and the drumming after dinner felt like you were listening to a few mates having a jamming session rather than a show being put on. We enjoyed the interactive nature of the evening including learning about Amazigh culture, having a dance and having a go at the drumming. Overall, it was first rate and the whole team should be very proud of the experience that they provide.
We have nothing negative to say about it.
Clean and comfortable desert experience. Nicely decorated tents with comfortable beds in a very good spot. Great breakfast and dinner. Friendly, caring and helpful staff. It was a perfect stay!
Great location, helpful and friendly staff
Beautifully decorated traditional tents with separate but private bathrooms. Great sunset and sunrise. Fantastic quad and dune buggy experience. Traditional 3 course dinner with entertainment. All very warm and friendly. Good local team lookingl after you immaculately. Great breakfast too. Only negative was that there were issues with Internet connectivity when we were there. But we are in the desert!
The bedding was clean and comfortable. They picked us up from the meeting place in a 4x4. The staff were friendly.
The bathroom is separated from the bedroom. The camels were so aggressive that we couldn’t go on the sunset ride. Although they refunded us the camel ride fee, we missed the long expected opportunity. The dinner was mediocre.
Great experience, very friendly staff
Nothing
Very nice staff. Friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasure. Rooms were spacious and even when quite cold (39 degrees F in the morning), the beds were toasty! Breakfast was great. Berber hospitality and charm evident.
Facial tissues in the rooms would be nice.
I liked the moment around the fire with the music, and the Berber dance. The camp is at the side of the dunes, like the other camps. There was hot water in the shower.
We were traveling in January, so it was really cold at night. However, there was no heating in the room and no hair dryer in the camp, which made our stay very unpleasant. The wifi was available only in one particular part of the camp, and not in the rooms. It felt similar to other camps (all placed nearby), but for a way higher price. The tents were very close to each other, so we had little privacy. Adding up to that, there was no shampoo provided, there was no carpet to sit on the sand, and the majority of workers we talked to didn't speak English or French.
We are so glad we booked Ali and Sara’s desert camp, it was an experience we won’t forget. Mohammed and his whole team were wonderful and so attentive. The food, music and activities on offer were all excellent. Could not recommend more!
Mohammed, Naima and Ismael are the best! Thank you so much for caring! The accommodation is nice and cozy with a lot of plants and art. The personnel really made us feel at home!!
Bring warm clothes! As you may know, the dessert cools down quite a bit at night, and the tents are not heated, nor the breakfast space. Activities offered by the host are really fun, but seem to be overpriced compared to Moroccan standards. However, being a touristic place, prices seem to be similar to other camps
Very beautiful camp compared to the others; there are nice outdoor spaces to relax with trees and shadow; the tents are cozy and well furnished; very welcoming staff
The staff could improve a little bit their english
Sara is a very very nice person. Confirm me with me a lot of things. Arrange everything well. Manager Mohammod speak good English, very nice, warm welcomed person as well. We do the camel ride for sunset and sunrise. The view was fantastic, you will never forget it. The guide is also good, I forget his name, shot a lot photos for us. Dinner and breakfast are good, it is wonderful you can eat well in desert. It is a wonderful experience to stay is Sahara here.
All good! Just too many flies during breakfast time. I think it it’s because here in Sahara, not the food, the food are clean.
Ali & Sara’s desert camp is an absolute gem in the middle of the desert right next to the sand dunes. This camp has a very authentic feel because of the nicely decorated tents instead of all the white tents you see at the other camps. Another thing we loved about this desert camp is how friendly and always ready to help the staff is. Everyone working at the camp is very customer oriented and wants to make sure you feel at home. We had some trouble with our bathroom running out of water and immediately got another one while they were fixing the issue. Something happened at one of the stops during our excursion and Mohamed and Sara took the issue very seriously and immediately took action upon hearing what happened. You can get as much water, tea and coffee as you like and the staff will even refill your bottle before going on an excursion. The breakfast, lunch & dinner we got were absolutely amazing as well. After dinner, there’s a campfire with drums to enjoy some Berber music while looking at the stars. I really enjoyed this in the evening and it didn’t feel forced at all, compared to other ‘touristy’ attractions I’ve experienced in the past. The camp offers a wide variety of add-ons such as quad rides, excursions, camel rides etc. We initially ordered a camel sunset ride and got a free sunset ride on top of it! I normally wouldn’t book an activity involving animals quickly but the camels are really well-cared for and you can see everyone really cares about them. We stayed here for 2 nights and got the option to have a lunch & swim one afternoon at a pool from a nearby hotel. This was very refreshing in the desert heath!
The add-on activities are quite expensive. Some kind of wardrobe to put your stuff would be a nice to have in the tent.
Sara and Ali have created a true oasis in the desert - tucked in a little valley so there is no view of any of the other camps. It’s tastefully and traditionally decorated with lots of lovely spaces to relax in. The camel ride, visit to local nomad village and visit to local hotel and pool were all excellent and well worth doing. Sara provides lots of information, was great to communicate with and generous with the inclusions (appreciated the beer and wine), Ali was an excellent guide and all of the staff were helpful and attentive. Thank you for a brilliant and magical desert stay!
We didn’t seem to be able to get any hot water in the showers. Also perhaps the option of a soft drink for those who don’t drink alcohol.
It's a desert palace. Great large rooms, and dedicated outdoors and communal rooms. The dinner and breakfast was superb and we really felt well taken care of in this mesmerizing natural setting. Thank you.
This was an absolute once in a lifetime experience.. Soooo special From the minute Ali and Hamid collected us at the hotel rendezvous - this place oozes hospitality (actually even before that- chatting with Sara) All the better, as we had the entire camp to ourselves! A true oasis ( in an overly commercialised area) Authentic tents ( not white plastic) , shady spots. Stunning decor. Healthy, loved Camels - Ahmed you have crept into my heart..you are a special soul, thanks for taking us out to experience your sunset and your love for these surroundings. It was just too taxing on my body - to go out again in the AM... Delicious food, even though we had some dietary restrictions . And jamming with all the staff into the night - making music. Thanks for the intro into my Birthday - I will remember it fondly forever . Thanks for the chats, and the little 4x4 feeling on the way back
My fellow travellers slept well , but I do struggle on these hard Morrocan beds. I came with a blow up matress from home : - 0 , but I was still more comfy on the lounger s matress, than the real bed
Everything was amazing and the kindness of the staff was the cherry on top. The common outdoor area is cared for in every detail. Don't miss the camel ride!
The tents are more traditional than in most of the other camps. There are lots of places to hang out during the day where you can find shade and/or shelter from the sand storms. The tent is really big and the separate bathroom tents have a toilet, lavatory and warm shower which feels like a big luxury in the desert. Staff was really friendly and considerate. They always offered bottled water, tea and coffee free of charge. Breakfast and dinner were delicious with lots of options. Considering that transport to the camp, breakfast and dinner are included, the value received for the price is adequate and not much higher than in other camps where this is charged additionally. Since we stayed two nights, we did a tour to the Berber village (110€ for two people) including visit to a mine, fossiles, construction site, cemetery, music performance, viewpoint and much more. We liked seeing more of the life of the people there and can only recommend the experience. The guide could speak many different languages. We also did a 1.5 hour walk in the dunes on our own for sunset (we started at 6pm). If you have a GPS device in order to not get lost, this is perfect to get farther into the dunes and get the real desert experience since all the camps are located along the edge of the desert.
The camel ride we did for sunrise (80€ for two persons) was nice but really short. In total, it was 75 minutes but considering that we made a stop for sunrise and you need to get there and back, we only went 1km into the dunes which was much shorter than we went by foot the other day. So if you've never sat on a camel before, it's a nice experience. But if you want to see something, go by yourself.
I loved the location in the dunes and the cure for details, the tranquility and the authenticity!( and that it was almost completely plastic free ) The staff is just wonderful and attentive and willing to help in everything! Thanks so much to Mohammed, Ali , Hamza and all the others! The food is one of the best that I had in Morocco! The Gnaoua music around the fire and under the stars is magical, I wish they would play more:) We miss you and the desert so much! (There are also beautiful iron sculptures and paintings all over the camp from local artists from Khamlia village!)
The location, facilities and the staff were all brilliant. The bed especially was a highlight of the bedroom, it is huge! Good food, good lounging areas and fun games to play.
Nothing
The location and the chill vibes of the camp.
Food was not that good…
Amazing location, lovely atmosphere at the camp and top service. Thank you so much Mohamend, you made us feel at home!
dinner
Highly recommend staying here if you choose to visit Merzouga/Erg Chebbi. From the beginning we had smooth communication with Sara regarding pick up, dietary requirements, etc. The camp is nestled between two large sand dunes so the views and walks around are spectacular. The tent is authentic to local traditions and blends much better with the landscape. Camp staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We were treated to delicious food prepared by the chef that included a variety of local dishes. This stay will be a cherished memory for us.
We stayed 4 nights, almost everyone else was passing through for one night but if you have the time this is a great place to take in the sunshine and relax. The stars and moon make each evening different and the guys who work there come and drum round the fire and it feels festive and nicely ‘low-key’. We are veggie and somehow the cook managed to make different food at each meal for us, so tasty, healthy and clean. Like elsewhere in Morocco the locals love animals and the camels were well cared for and we enjoyed the camel rides (in other countries I’ve been reluctant to ride camels but here it was so well managed). The guys who run the camp are really friendly and checked if we wanted anything else without pressure to buy more. We don’t drive and so Sara organised private transfers for us with good drivers and we took a very local morning excursion to the immediate environment which is interesting to see how people are really living in the desert. If you want to save money there is a CTM bus to Merzouga and you can get picked up from there.
Great experience. This place between two dunes is super comfortable. We loved the details and traditional style. Staff is very friendly and professional. Next time we will definitely book more than just one night.
Beautiful setting in the desert. Very relaxed place. Ali went out of is way to let you feel comfortable in a very natural way. He certainly has the touch! The sunset dromedaris tour was very special.
Nothing
Wow! This was our first experience at Erg Chebbi and we were very sad to leave. We would recommend this place for the care taken in crafting such a beautiful Berber camp and for the level of incredible service as well. The camp is surrounded by beautiful trees in a little oasis right up against the dunes. There are personal bathroom cabins and personal tents with real camel hair canvas exterior. The bed was also extremely comfortable! There are open air buildings available as well for activities or lounging. Everything is beautifully decorated. The food was top notch and we had a variety of tasty Berber and Moroccan dishes. We went for camel rides at sunset and sunrise. It was very nice to see that the camels are treated well. Overall, the people working at the camp did an amazing job! They do all tasks from cleaning to drumming and with positivity. We had a really great experience here! It was well worth it to stay a few nights and relax in the oasis.
Nothing!
Wow, what a super experience!! We spent one magical night here. The tents are spacious, clean and very comfortable, located in a great camp setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset and sunrise camel rides, and the evening campfire music. The food was fantastic — our best dinner and breakfast in Morocco! Muhammad was an excellent host. Sara was very responsive by text prior to our visit. We are so pleased that we followed the recommendation from Lonely Planet for this place. We highly recommend this desert experience with Sara & Ali.
Amazing service, the camp is the only natural one between dunes with plenty of trees and the bed linen was just incredible
Nothing
I absolutely loved staying here. One night is not enough, and I am SO glad I had booked two nights right away. First and foremost, Mohamed is an absolute gem. He is SO polite, SO kind, and so attentive, he honestly made our experience the best ever. The tent was so comfortable, the bed was heavenly, the bathroom was immaculately clean, and had hot water and a flushing toilet. The food was delightful, and different every day which I really enjoyed. Having breakfast by the beautiful dunes in the morning before it gets really hot is quite the experience. I LOVED the shakshouka eggs, and both dinners were delicious, too. There's constantly iced water and tea available, Mohamed always made sure to offer to refill our water bottles and offered us delicious mint tea several times. In terms of activities, I had booked camels at sunrise, and LOVED the experience, we were the only 2 people in the desert and it was so special. As a nice added surprise, Sara also offered us a second camel ride at sunset that same day, free of charge. The sunset ride was a little busier, there were more camel tours from other camps, dune buggies, 4x4 cars out and about, but the colors of the sunset in the dunes was spectacular. I met British guys who had done the dune buggies and said they really enjoyed it as well, but we took it easy and enjoyed the camp during the day instead, which was lovely. It does get hot but there are a few spots to sit in the shade and still enjoy. Definitely book 2 nights, definitely book a camel ride, and definitely book this camp above any other, it truly is a unique experience I will never forget. Thank you SO much!
Everything was lovely and perfect! Highly recommended!
Staff and hospitality was wonderful
Could have used a fan, tents get very hot during the day
Everything was perfect. The location, the accommodation, the meals were magnificent. But above all the staff was incredibly professional and kind. Recommended+++
A beautiful camp in the middle of the Sahara. The staff is super friendly! Would recommend the sunrise tour with the camels, the views are beautiful!
Mohamed was the perfect host at the camp, being both polite and helpful in all aspects. The sunset camel trek was first class with the guides being excellent. 10/10 in everything at the camp.
Nil
Dinner and breakfast was great. One of the best breakfasts of our trip and the service was fantastic. Accomodation was quite nice. Very lovely set up in the desert with lots of areas to relax and the room and private bathroom were pretty amazing given that it was a remote location. However, the morning after our stay the water wasn’t working. Couldn’t shower and couldn’t wash our hands at all until we had left the campsite.
While it is a luxury experience, it very much seemed overpriced. The service provided by our allocated staff member was not fantastic. He seemed to linger around us quite a bit. When we did ask if we could borrow a turban for the camel ride as my brother had left his in the car accidentally, a turban just to prevent sunburn on our camel ride wasn’t possible - we had to buy one (and for a ridiculous price too)! Not to mention that the add ons were extremely overpriced. A camel ride for 425 DH each is so ridiculous. Anyone who understands anything about the relative prices in Morocco would tell you that that is insane. The tour guide for our camel ride was not interested at all in us, and it felt like he was doing a chore taking us out to see the sunset. Also given the price we paid, we were extremely dehydrated at many points in the heat, and had to ask about 10 times for more water. Instead of just giving us more water in our jug, our host would consistently give us a quarter full jug. It felt like we were being pests for having to ask for more water all the time! Lastly, the location was in the desert. But I found that just being plonked next to 3 other campsites made the whole experience just feel incredibly touristy and not at all authentic. It felt like we paid an arm and a leg for an experience that wasn’t very luxurious, with service that was only slightly better than average and add ons that are just ridiculously overpriced. We probably wouldn’t recommend this to others. As an example, a local hotel offered a similar night in the desert for 450 DH per person, where you rode camels out, camped, had an authentic fire, music and dancing, and had breakfast and dinner included. While the facilities were nice, the authenticity was well and truly off and we would rather take a slightly worse tent for 450 DH for a night vs this which came to over 2300 DH.
The staff were great and Sara's communication was even better, she was so helpful with planning how to get to and from the desert as well as giving advice about where to stay on the way, whether to hire a car or a driver, which routes to take, etc. We ended up driving ourselves and had no issues with it, but were really happy to have the options she provided had we decided to go with a driver instead. Thanks Sara!
No air conditioning in the rooms! Probably our fault for not reading the listing closely enough, but not having aircon in the rooms made it impossible to sleep inside. (We were there in mid-June where it's 42ºC in the afternoon, then above 35ºC all night). We ended up sleeping outside which was nice in the end, but after coming back from the evening camel ride, without a/c there was really no way to cool down which was rough.
Super friendly staff, nice location, good accomodation
Nothing to mention here
Ali & Sara‘s Desert Place is honestly the most beautiful desert camp in the Sahara! We felt welcome from the first moment, our tent was beautiful, the bathroom more luxurious than in any hotel we stayed at and there are so many palm trees and everything is just perfect.
We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic trip to Desert Palace. Everything about this camp is perfect - Mohammed, Hamed and Mustafa are a dream team. Nothing was ever any trouble. The tents are very comfortable and the king size bed huge. The shower and toilet are separate so you have to go outside of your tent to your own toilet and shower. Mustafa took us on our evening sunset and morning sunrise camel rides. It was just the two of us and Mustafa on foot. On the evening ride we witnessed a Saharan Sand Storm heading our way. We made it back to camp just in time. On the second evening we walked up onto the dunes and had our own sundowner sunset, absolutely fantastic ❤️ The food was superb. Well done guys you make such a good team. You can buy beer and wine. Coffee, Tea and water are provided free. If you want an fizzy drinks these are not available. The camp is tastefully decorated and not too big. We can highly recommend this camp for the best desert experience. The only negative is communication with Sara before your trip. Information about the rendezvous point needs to be communicated well in advance. We found it extremely stressful having driven for 8 hours, arriving in Merzouga not knowing where we were being picked up. I had messaged Sara the night before and I never heard back from her. We then sent a WhatsApp message to Sara at lunchtime on the day of our arrival with all the information ie where to meet plus prices for the camel rides etc.
What a place! Ali & Sara’s desert palace is the place to stay when visiting this area. Sara was so good at communicating and provided so many tips and hints for our travels in the whole of Morocco. They also organised our driver, Mubarak, who was the most knowledgeable and friendly driver we could have asked for! Could not recommend him enough.
Nothing
The stay was made amazing by the incredibly dedicated team who looked after us from the moment we arrived to when we left. Sara and Ali are very lucky to have Mohamed and Hassan managing the camp, with their talents stretching from hospitality to catering to drumming and singing. The desert was pretty cool too, we didnt take the camels, no need really because it wasnt too hot and it was a great morning walk all the way to the top of the highest sanddune and back, about 45 minutes at a relaxed pace each way. Highly recommended.
The camp was beautiful and relaxing.
Beautiful peaceful stay in the desert
This experience exceeded our expectations. All staff eager to please with great service and food. Accommodations were better than expected.
Can’t think of anything that could be done to improve our experience. Throughly enjoyed!
Bed and room was very large. Full washroom in the middle of the desert. Private camel tour. Staff was great.
Food was authentic, however the main entree of goat tagine was not a personal favourite. Would have preferred chicken or beef.
Everything is beyond expectations. The food is the best I have had in Morocco until now. Hassan is very helpful and friendly. The stay was amazing and beyond words
Nothing at all. Everything is perfect.
Hospitality, position, clean bungalow we did camel trak at sunrise and It was an incredible experience.
only one think. the informed me that for a problem with camel the trak in sunset was canceled. the sent me a message the day of our arrival.
☆ Staff was very friendly and welcoming ☆ Location very well decorated and maintained ☆ Food was great and peculiar ☆ Direct access to the sand dunes
☆ Nothing
The staff were very attentive. They went out of their way to connect with us and to make us feel part of their family. We stayed for 2 days and we were very pleased with this decision. We felt like it was not rushed. Day 1, we arrived and were picked up, settled in, and went for the sunset camel ride. Had dinner, singing and drumming and off to bed. Day 2 we went on a morning tour in a 4WD with Ali to see how a nomad lives and to see around the area. We found this interesting and eye-opening. Next, we went to the Nomad Palace for a big lunch and time to relax near the pool. We were picked up at 5 pm to go back to the camp ready for dinner. Day 3 morning camel ride to see sunrise. This was so peaceful. Then breakfast and goodbye. We are so pleased with what we did and that we chose Ali and Sara's. When you book, you are not sure what you are getting. When we saw other camps we realised how nice this one was. It is nestled in between dunes, so it is very private. There is foliage planted all through the camp, so it looks good with areas to sit and relax. Some of the others looked like a scout camp.
There was nothing I did not like.
Beautiful, well-planned little oasis, great food, excellent hospitality, service, staff.
No problems with the camp at all, my only complaint would be the sheer number of camps, although this is not an issue with Sara and Ali's.
Lost for words. Incredible from start to finish and none of us ever wanted to leave. Staff did everything to ensure our family had the experience of a lifetime. They also heard me mention my daughter’s birthday a few days earlier so surprised us with music, balloons and candles singing happy birthday! Total relaxation. 3 of our family had the camel ride at sunset and sunrise taken from the camp which is the perfect way to experience the Sahara but I equally enjoyed walking up to view points on the dunes to experience beauty and peace. We were the only ones staying and we were spoilt with the dinner catering for all needs and delicious. Oh and the beds are soooo comfortable and huge!
Great staff, very accomodating and facilities were great Extra camel ride was really lovely to do, and the food was amazing
Some surprise costs of lunch that could be better advertised
Everything was so beautiful, definitely the nicest camp out in Merzouga. Couldn’t get enough of the scenery, even at night by the campfire. More than anything were the people. The staff were some of the kindest and most interesting people I’ve met, you know for sure you’re in good hands. Mohamed and Lhou were so considerate too as well as Sara the owner! And not to mention they had dune buggies and camel rides at sunset/sunrise! Please consider this place if you want a are visiting, it’s so worth it :)
It does get cold outside at night, but they give you everything you need to keep warm so no worries!
Wonderful stay at Ali & Sara’s camp. The camp is beautiful, staff is friendly, helpful and organised. The tents are comfortable and you can stay warm even in the coldest months - we were there the first days of January. The camel rides are a great way to see the sunset and sunrise in the dunes
Everything as excellent
