Reviewed Sep 17, 2026L’établissement Dar Dadicilef est magnifique, avec une chambre incroyable et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. La cour intérieure est splendide, la terrasse du rooftop superbe et très relaxante, avec là encore une vue dingue. La gentillesse d’Ahmed et Abdelilah est à souligner, ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous et leur sourire réchauffe les cœurs. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, avec de très bons jus pour débuter la journée. Un séjour exceptionnel et que nous conseillons à tous au Dar Dadicilef, encore merci à tout le personnel du Riad.
Absolument rien, il était fabuleux.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié les attentions d’Ahmed qui, après une difficile nuit de gastro entérite pour moi, m’a concocté un remède naturel et traditionnel pour soulager mon ventre… c’était une attention qui m’a particulièrement touchée. Qui plus est, nous souhaitions avec mon amie partir tôt mais nous avions oublié de prévenir de notre départ matinal et le petit déjeuner ne commençant qu’à 9h, nous avons été prises de court. Ahmed a été très compréhensif et nous a tout de même servi un café avec des petits gâteaux et du jus de fruits.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026The father and son duo were extremely friendly (the father speaks Spanish if you don’t know French!) and the Dar is very authentic with original features, so beautiful, colourful and well kept. GREAT location too.
Sometimes it was quite hard to find someone if you had queries but it is very understandable as they work so hard.

Le finestre della camera e del bagno affacciavano entrambe sull’interno della struttura, quindi era necessario tenerle chiuse per avere privacy e il ricambio d’aria era praticamente assente. Non c’era aria condizionata, solo un ventilatore. Il bagno si allagava durante la doccia per la pendenza errata e l’assenza di una tendina. Asciugamani sporchi, molto rovinati e alcuni bucati; anche dopo averli fatti sostituire, le condizioni erano praticamente le stesse. Pulizia non impeccabile, con capelli trovati in camera. Nessun kit di cortesia: dopo averlo richiesto ci è stata data solamente mezza saponetta. Anche durante la colazione abbiamo avuto problemi con diverse vespe. Nel complesso, struttura che non consiglio.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026My husband and I stayed at Dar Dadicilef for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, Ahmed made us feel very welcome. He was so friendly, kind and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, and everything worked well (the fan, bathroom, lights, etc.) The breakfast was so good! My husband especially loved the jam and fresh orange juice. The eggs were my personal highlight! We had breakfast in the garden every morning, which was really nice. We also loved the rooftop with beautiful view of the mountains. The location was perfect for us. It’s right in the main area of Chefchaouen, but at the same time it’s not too crowded or noisy. We would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Beautiful interior, very clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable! The garden is a peaceful little refuge from the noise of the streets. The elderly man who runs the place with his son was very kind and friendly, and made us tea a number of times (just ask, we gave a small tip). The breakfast was excellent and a good size, with eggs, juice, coffee or tea, Moroccan breads, and various spreads (jam, cheese, butter). We’ve stayed in a number of hotels/hostels during our time in Morocco, and this one was certainly one of the best!

L'hôtel est très propre, très beau et idéalement situé, au cour de la médina bleue. Unica piccola pecca, come in quasi tutti i riad, salgono un po’ di odori dallo scarico della doccia.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Nuestra experiencia en este riad de Chefchaouen ha sido maravillosa. Sin duda, uno de esos alojamientos que recomendaríamos al 100 %. Llegamos incluso un poquito antes de la hora del check-in y el anfitrión nos recibió con una sonrisa y muchísima amabilidad desde el primer momento. Como el riad no estaba completo, tuvo el detalle de enseñarnos varias habitaciones y dejarnos elegir la que más nos gustara, algo que agradecimos muchísimo. Finalmente elegimos una de las habitaciones de la parte más alta. El riad es precioso, acogedor y está impecablemente limpio. Nuestra habitación tenía un ligero olor a humedad, pero nada especialmente molesto y bastante comprensible al estar situada en la parte superior del edificio. Los espacios comunes son una maravilla: cuenta con un jardín precioso y dos terrazas en la parte superior, perfectas para disfrutar de la tranquilidad y del encanto de Chefchaouen. El desayuno también nos encantó: muy completo, abundante y rico, con queso, mermelada, mantequilla, zumo, pastas, pan y café. Una forma estupenda de empezar el día. También queremos destacar a las chicas encargadas de la limpieza, muy discretas, amables y cuidadosas, y el excelente estado de todo el alojamiento. En general, nos hemos sentido muy a gusto y muy bien atendidos. Un riad con muchísimo encanto, limpio, cuidado y con un trato fantástico. Volveríamos sin dudarlo y lo recomendamos al 100 %.

Nos alojamos en la habitación junto a la terraza superior. Y aunque fue un día de mucho calor. El ventilador de la habitación y el aire que entraba por la ventana era más que suficiente. They were above and beyond their duties to accommodate our requests and treated the hostel like it was theirs. Thank you so much for your hospitality, it felt like home away from home. The place itself is a hidden gem in the heart of the old town, with an exceptional rooftop and a beautiful garden where you can be immersed in the town and be equally in a quite space at the same time. It’s gorgeous. Breakfast is so good, we were always looking forward to that.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo splendido riad color azzurro cielo che, pur trovandosi nel cuore della Medina, regala un’atmosfera di assoluta tranquillità: basta varcare la porta e i rumori della Medina svaniscono, lasciando spazio a una piacevole sensazione di pace. La camera sembra uscita da un libro di fiabe, mentre la colazione, curata e abbondante, viene servita nel cortile dal signor Ahmed, una persona davvero gentile, disponibile e attenta agli ospiti. Ci torneremo con grande piacer.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Prachtige sfeervolle accomodatie in de medina. Een plek die veel zorg en aandacht wordt gerund door vader en zoon. Binnen is het een oase van rust. Er zit een mooie tuin en dakterras bij. Heel fijn om in de tuin te ontbijten of in de avond nog een spelletje te spelen.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026非常非常干净！父子二人经营。父亲负责早餐，老人家很爱干净，一大早就把旅店门口打扫干净。舍夫沙万猫狗很多，随地💩！ 花园很漂亮，还有可以聊天的院子！
我们住在顶楼，同伴需要空调。但是房间wifi 信号不太好，出门后在露台上就非常好！

Le lit pas fait j y suis allée pour faire le trail j avais réservé j ai dormi 3 nuits au lieu de 4 et on m’a invité à aller dans un autre hôtel où j étais tranquille certes mais très déçu de mon expérience je recommande pas insécurité totale

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Il Riad Dar Dadicilef è una chicca sia per la struttura in sé, sia per l’accoglienza e l’attenzione agli ospiti. La pulizia è ottima, la colazione è meravigliosa e la sensazione è come di essere a casa propria. Lo consiglio a tutti e non lo sconsiglio a nessuno!

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026TOUT était PARFAIT L accueil aussi bien au telephone que sur place par le père et le fils Le cadre : très joli et très propre riad : belles chambres, beaux espaces de repos, le jardin, la terrasse pour observer la ville bleue et le coucher de soleil, la cuisine le petit déjeuner excellent Très calme bien qu au centre de la médina proche du parking de l hotel Madrid (3 minutes) J ai prolongé mon séjour ....

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Un sitio auténtico, muy bien reformado, con muchos detalles muy bonitos. El personal super amable y competente. El jardín es un plus dado que en este sitio dentro de la medina muy pocas casas pueden disfrutar de este privilegio. Y tomar el desayuno ahí es algo muy agradable. Muy buena ubicación para salir a pasear y estar directamente en el corazón de la parte vieja.
Para visitar Chaouen hay que estar bien de piernas y rodillas, dado que la ciudad está llena de escaleras y cuestas. Está casa no está exenta, tiene escaleras, y hay que tenerlo en mente. Pero difícilmente encontrarás ascensor en este sitio. Sólo hay que saberlo.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026E’ considerato un ostello ma dispone di diverse stanze con bagno privato. La nostra stanza era spettacolare, sia come arredamento sia come atmosfera. Assolutamente consigliato. Gestore molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione buona, servita nel giardino. Per raggiungere il Dar è necessario addentrarsi nei vicoli e la prima volta non è semplice trovarlo perché sembrano tutti uguali… Ottimo posteggio (Parking Lahfid) custodito disponibile a qualche centinaio di metri al costo di 30 mad al giorno.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Great and quiet location at the lower end of the Medina, 3-story Dar (painted all in blue like the rest of the town) with a beautiful and peaceful garden for breakfast and a great rooftop for chilling, good breakfast, Ahmed (knows everything about soccer players since the 70s) and his son Abdul were very charming and extremely helpful. Highly recommended (as is the recently opened Bacha Rouge restaurant 20 steps away with a great view of the city from its rooftop).
Nothing (or just maybe the smell of cats on the rooftop, which for sure is difficult to avoid in a city where every nook and cranny is filled with these cute and loving creatures).
