The service was patchy - it’s managed by a family who live there and I felt we got them on a bad day! The food at the pool bar was disappointing. The pool was far too warm and not a bit refreshing although it is a lovely big pool with plenty of space around it

Monolocale bello,pulito con un balconcino affacciato sulla bella piscina e dove si scorge il mare.posizione ottima x qlch spiaggetta da fare a piedi. A 10 min a piedi da 2 porticcioli dove partono le barche x le varie escursioni alle spiagge e x le grotte. A 10 min a piedi circa si raggiunge anche la grotta bar; un localino arroccato molto rinomato per gli aperitivi. Lo consiglio vivamente. N.b fermata del bus fronte struttura.

El hotel es excelente por su ubicacion y por el buen trato de los anfitriones. El auto puede estacionarse en la propiedad, tienen un pequeño espacio donde entran varios autos, todos dejan las llaves y mueven los autos a medida que uno necesite salir. En la piscina tienen un baño con ducha que nos sirvio el dia que hicimos el check out. Ademas, ese dia nos dejaron llevar las toallas y la sombrilla a la playa, si bien ya habiamos hecho el check out. Un dia desayunamos en el hotel y fue excelente.

Les gérants étaient adorables et très à l’écoute, toujours réactifs. La piscine est incroyable et plutôt grande :) de nombreux restaurants à proximité, et de très très belles plages 🌞

Les hôtes ont été adorables et très accueillants. On a vraiment eu l’impression d’être chez des amis ou dans notre propre famille, avec une attention chaleureuse et bienveillante tout au long du séjour. L’hôtel est impeccable, tout est très propre et parfaitement entretenu. La piscine est magnifique et très agréable pour se détendre. L’emplacement est également idéal, à proximité de la mer et de très beaux restaurants. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le petit-déjeuner, varié et délicieux. Tout était parfait : l’accueil, la propreté, l’emplacement et l’ambiance. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. À refaire sans hésiter ! ❤️

This was our second stay in Corfu. Our host Katerina was really sweet. She welcomed us earlier than expected, showed us the room and all the facilities, arranged for our scooter with her nephew who gaves us a 20% discount. The room was clean with a biiiig balcony, a small kitchen equiped with pretty much everything you need. They had a big bathroom with a shower and hot water. They cleaned and changed the sheets every 2-3 days. Its right in the center of Paleokastrita at a walking distance from everything: la grotta, the main beach, a smaller beach down the mountain, several restaurants and supermarkets, boat rentals. Even so, i higly recommend getting a scooter or a quad because its a mountain still and the road its full of curves, ups and downs. To get to the most beautiful places and the secluded beaches you absolutely need it. Its way easier than getting around with a car. Since its right in the middle of the most touristy area, its a good price for value. We will be back!

I gave it a 9 because we had some ants in the room under the sink where the garbage can was. We solved it by taking the trash outside. Since we are on an island its not that much big of a deal.

Absolutely fantastic hosts. We met guests who have returned for 16 years and we can see why. Pool was such a blessing in an area where you’re reliant on often busy beaches. Great to have the option of lunch or breakfast at the location if needed.

Could have done with shade on the balcony/ outside area next to our rooms. The extreme heat this year made it uncomfortable.

Ottima posizione, tutte le spiagge sono raggiungibili a piedi. Stessa cosa per Bakery, supermarket, bars e trattorie/ristoranti. Alloggio dotato di tutto l’occorrente, anche quei piccoli dettagli che in genere vengono dimenticati. Pulito e curato. Anche la grande piscina rappresenta un buon punto di recupero dopo un’intensa giornata al mare. Katherina e Yannis sono degli host eccezionali, molto attenti, cordiali e pronti a fornire consigli.

El alojamiento en su conjunto es un 10. El apartamento estaba super completo, a parte de tener todos los utensilios necesarios para pasar la semana, nos dejaron una sombrilla, algo que se agradece para no tener que comprar una para pocos días. Ademas, nos limpiaban la habitación todos los días. La piscina es genial para darte un chapuzón después de las excursiones. En el bar de la piscina tienen de todo. La ubicación era perfecta, esta en el centro de Paleokastriksa, lo que te permite disfrutar de toooodas las playas que hay cerca, las mejores de la isla. El personal te hacia sentir parte de su familia. Todos los días nos preguntaban a donde teníamos pensado ir, nos recomendaron playas y restaurantes que no olvidaremos, y nos ayudaron a alquilar una moto para los 7 días que estuvimos. También nos recomendaron una empresa de alquiler de barcos (con todas las que hay no sabes muy bien de quien fiarte), y también fue un acierto. Sin duda si volvemos a Corfú volveremos a Maria Studios!!

Por ponerle un pero, nuestra terraza estaba a ras de suelo y daba al “parking” del hotel, lo que hacia que no tuviera mucha privacidad, pero aún así pudimos disfrutarla.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! As a family-owned property, the personal touch and warmth made all the difference, the owners were exceptionally nice, welcoming, and attentive to every detail throughout our visit. seasonal highlights included spending relaxing time around the pool, which felt like a private, peaceful oasis. The location is ideal, serving as the perfect base right next to some of Corfu’s most magical beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for our trip and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Corfu!

How clean it was.

The furniture is old.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The highlight was the swimming pool, which was kept very clean and rarely busy. Had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend.

It would have been nice to have access to a larger table in a shaded area for eating and drinking our own stuff as the area near the pool is for consuming food and drink from the bar only. However this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of a very good stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back in the future. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They gave us useful recommendations about places to visit and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They also kindly allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in/after check-out, which made our trip much more convenient. Throughout our stay they were attentive and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, featuring a large double bed with pleasant bedding and air conditioning. One of the things we appreciated most was that the apartment provided beach towels and even a beach umbrella. This is something you rarely find and it really shows how much thought and care the hosts put into making their guests feel comfortable. We highly recommend staying here and would be delighted to return on our next visit.

Excellent stay. Very friendly staff, and apartment was well equipped and spotless. We stayed 5 nights and room was cleaned and towels changed twice. They give you a beach/pool towel too. Great location, pool is lovely. Overall just a lovely, relaxed place!

Värdarna var otroligt trevliga och välkomnande - och hade väldigt god glass :D Det var trevlig stämning på hotellet och poolen var lugn och stilla. Området var supermysigt och boendet låg precis vid busshållsplatsen så det var enkelt att ta sig in till Korfu stad. Det var en mycket fin lägenhet med ett kök som hade allt vi behövde.

Nice studio apartment at the top end of the village, with a balcony and small 'kitchenette' area. The room was very spacious, bright and nicely decorated. It had good AC which was very welcome after walking the Corfu Trail. It is close to some nice cafes/taverns and has it's own bar beside the pool with a very welcoming host, Yannis. Area for drying clothes at back of apartment also.

Leuk klein appartement. Werd goed schoongemaakt. Bij aankomst kregen we een appartement toegewezen wat ons niet echt aanstond. Men deed er niet moeilijk over en kregen een ander appartement. Om de dag schoonmaak en schone handdoeken. Strandjes in de buurt stellen niet veel voor. Moet je wel naar de haven lopen ca 1 km. Veel restaurants en bootverhuur in naast de accommodatie.

We had a lovely 11 night stay here in June, very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect as close to beach, restaurants and shops. Great size pool, very clean and refreshing . Katherina and family couldn’t do enough. Highly recommend.

Great location. Walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. My room was lovely and clean with a comfy bed and nice shower. The boss Katherina is lovely. There is a bar on site for drinks and food. The pool is kept beautifully clean and was perfect to cool off in the peak hours of the heat.

A konyhában minden megtalálható volt főzéshez illetve kenyérpirító, vízforraló és kávégép is volt, tea illetve kávé bekészítve is. A szobát a második napon kitakarították, kaptunk friss törölközőket is. A szobához erkély is tartozott, szárítóval, székekkel és asztallal. A szálláson medence is megtalálható, napágyakkal, bárral. A házigazda és családja kedvesen fogadott minket, körbevezetett, illetve ittlétünk alatt többször programot illetve éttermet is ajánlottak nekünk.

Le manque de civisme de certains clients s’accaparant les transat et autres matelas pour la journée (pris pour les mette sur les transat se coucher dessus alors que ce sont des jeux d’eau). Mais cela n’est pas de la responsabilité de l’établissement. C’est un peu partout pareil. Le bruit des conversations le soir si vous laissez les fenêtres ouvertes. Toujours le même manque de civisme des clients. Les propriétaires faisant tout pour vous satisfaire.

The property is well located within walking distance to great beaches and good restaurants. The units are clean and there is a nice pool. The owners are on site so that you can communicate with them easily if there are any issues.

The property is located on the main road so there is constant car traffic during the daytime.

Accueil très agréable, ménage bien fait, le linge de lit et les serviettes étaient propres. La piscine est super et le logement est proche des plages et des commerces. Les propriétaires sont au petits soins ce qui rend le séjour parfait.

There is nothing to dislike about the hotel! The only reason I gave 9 out of 10 stars is the limited on site parking, meaning you have to find a space on the road nearby which isn't easy.

Great location! There was a bus stop right next to the accommodation. The beach was only 5–10 minutes away, and there were shops and restaurants nearby. The pool was clean and nice, and the water was even warmer than the sea! Katarina and her family were very kind and friendly. They helped us with everything and gave us useful tips. We really enjoyed our vacation and were very happy with our stay. Thank you so much!🥰🥰🥰

Une plage est très proche, à pied. De bons restaurants à proximité immédiate, et des commerces de proximité. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture à l'intérieur. Yannis et son épouse sont des hôtes charmants et prévenants.

Le lit est large, mais trop dur à notre goût. La kitchenette est vraiment minimale.

Het vriendelijke personeel, de centrale ligging in het dorp (met vele restaurants rondom) en debheerlijke douche. Het is (naar onze mening) hard maar we kregen een topper waarmee het goed te doen was.

We hadden economy geboekt en dan heb je of uitzicht op auto's of op muren. Maar elk nadeel heeft zijn voordeel ook redelijk wat schaduw wat best lekker is bij 28 graden.

It was a good location. There were supermarket, beach and bus stop very close. The hotel has a pool which is very nice experience.

AC was not working and it gets hot in corfu in summer.In night especially, mosquitos gets in so we could open the windows also. Microwave was not available although kitchenette in part of the room. Although, it was not mentioned in the amenities, I feel like microwave is must in the kitchen if you are providing one. They did not give us instructions on pool timing and then when I was swimming in the night the owner came and started yelling at me. Although it was a fair deal, it could have been better for us. Location wise it is perfect.

Le principal point négatif concerne le manque d’isolation entre les chambres, probablement lié à la conception du bâtiment. Malheureusement, durant notre séjour, nous avons également été confrontés à plusieurs vacanciers peu respectueux : certains couples anglais se sont comportés comme s’ils étaient seuls sur place, réservant les transats avec leurs serviettes, parlant très fort et riant sans se soucier des autres. Nos voisins de chambre, faisant parti du même groupe, faisaient beaucoup de bruit en tapant dans les meubles et en provoquant des nuisances sonores. C’est regrettable, car cela nuit à l’image de l’établissement ainsi qu’au travail des propriétaires. Modernisation de la salle serait à envisager ++

La situation géographique.

Bequemes Bett, mehrere Kopfkissen, gepflegte Außenanlage und saubere Zimmer. Hier wurde häufiger sauber gemacht und Müll entsorgt. Mitte Mai sehr ruhige Anlage, Poolbar hatte aber auch noch nicht geöffnet. Gute Lage, da mehrere Buchten, Hafen und Tavernen gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Man sollte nur wissen im Ort geht es viel rauf und runter und leider immer an der Straße entlang. Aber die Buchten sind traumhaft schön, wenn auch Liegen sowie Speisen und Getränke etwas hochpreisiger sind. Ganz toll etwas weiter oben die Acapulco Bar , wir haben hier auf bequemen Liegen mit grandioser Aussicht einen ganzen Tag verbracht. ( Liegen kostenlos, dafür keine eigenen Getränke oder Essen) Die Bar La Grotta ist in einen Felsen gebaut und auch unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Da wir einen Mietwagen hatten ist die Unterkunft eine gute Ausgangslage um ein Teil von Korfu zu erkunden. Tolle ursprüngliche Taverne im Dorf Doukades, wir sind bei „ Taverna Elisabeth“ eingekehrt und können dies nur empfehlen! Der Strand im Nachbardorf Liapades hat uns sehr gut gefallen, hier hat man alles was man braucht. Nicht besonders groß, aber eine sehr schöne Bucht. Zwei Liegen und Schirm bekommt man hier für 10,00€ , Toiletten und zwei Bars/ Taverne vor Ort.

Das Bad stand nach dem duschen immer leicht unter Wasser und hier gab es wenig Ablagefläche. Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Räumen und die Kleidung war dadurch oft leicht klamm. Messer in der Küche schneiden kaum und es war leider keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. Löslicher Kaffee mit dem Wasserkocher tut es allerdings auch. Das Bad war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dass sah man an den Rändern der Dusche, Türen etc. Aber trotz den kleinen Mängeln war es alles mehr als annehmbar. Schließlich bucht man hier kein 5 Sterne Hotel. Am wichtigsten ist uns immer ein bequemes Bett, Sauberkeit und nicht zu laut. Das hatten wir hier alles und würden für den Preis jederzeit wieder buchen!

Très bien situé, légèrement à l'extérieur de la ville, l'établissement Maria Studios est un lieu très agréable et calme. Notre studio - côté piscine - était parfaitement équipé (cuisine, sanitaires, terrasse aménagée) et avait surtout une literie grand confort. Le personnel est très accueillant et attentif au bien-être de chacun. Lors de notre séjour itinérant sur l'île, nous n'y avons passé que 2 nuits, mais y serions bien restés plus longtemps. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

The linen/towels/bed were lovely, nice quiet location, having a broken thumb and rib , the host was more than helpful, if I required anything she was happy to accommodate. Local bus stopped outside the hotel.

Great hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests welcome. We were late arrivals and found that Katerina has left sandwiches and water in our fridge. Poolside towels were provided as a nice touch. Supermarkets and tavernas a stone's throw away. Plenty of sunbeds, nice bar and good food. Would recommend.

A little dated and the cleaning staff should do a better job at cleaning the floors between guests because our floor was full of sand when we arrived. Also a blanket should be provided, there was only a sheet. The woman owner Katrina was very sweet and helpful and the husband too but he asked for payment literally two seconds after we arrived, not a great welcome other than that he is a nice guy. That being said, I recommend Maria Studios if you're looking for a decent place good location and nice atmosphere

Nous avons apprécié l’accueil très sympathique et gentil des propriétaires ainsi que la propreté du logement. Les Studios sont très bien situés en plein milieu et permettre l’accès à la plage très rapidement.

Great location and the owners were so kind and gave great recommendations. I had a car so was all over the place but could have done without a car and still gotten to so many beaches and restaurants. The owners were super helpful with recommendations. The room was clean and very comfortable. Loved having the balcony!

Everything was perfect! Thank you to Katherina, Yianni and the whole family for their kindness and patience. We had a beautiful room, with all the amenities. The place was clean, close to all the famous attractions in the area, you would think it was going to be noisy but it was surprisingly really quite. The pool after a long day was top tier. 100% would recommend!
