Très bien situé, facile d'accès, personnel sympathique, bon déjeuner dans un endroit convivial, la vue du Golfe St-Laurent est belle et le coucher de soleil. La chambre est fonctiionnelle.

Le seul point à améliorer est que lit était double, je préfère les lits queen pour plus d'espace et de confort

Wir können nicht viel erzählen, da es dudurch ein Unwetter weder Strom noch Internet noch Wasser also keine Toilette gab.

Auch wenn der Vermieter nichts für das Wetter konnte, hätten wir schon erwartet, dass man uns wegen der gruseligen Übernachtung ohne Toilette und Frühstück etwas erstattet hätte, zumal die Übernachtung 230 Euro!!!! Gekostet hat.

cute little inn. only a few rooms. very comfortable and clean. host was very nice. they left a few snacks for us in the room which was so thoughtful. met a lot of nice people at breakfast. one large family style table. they had juice, cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, cheese, muffins, etc. i highly recomment this inn and i would stay here again. see my google review for pictures.

Wir hatten das Zimmer im EG mit Meerblick. Sonnenuntergang einfach toll. Zimmer sehr großzügig und sauber. Bad sehr schön.. Aussenbereich zum sitzen sehr schön.

Der Check in und Check out sehr unpersönlich. Es gab ein Hallo und den Schlüssel ohne Erklärung. Personal nicht sehr freundlich. Frühstücksraum ist ein Gemeinschaftsraum (1 Tisch). Sehr hellhörig.

Location was close enough to central Cheticamp. Rooms were big enough.

Good staff and the room and inn were clean. The breakfast buffet was hot and good with its selection.

This is not a 4-star, its somewhere between 2-3 stars. The place is run down and its not a close location to the town as its on the opposite end. The air conditioning was not working and the window needed to be propped up with a provided stick.

Walls very thin, noise from adjacent, nearby and above rooms. Other guests did not respect the quiet time. The room was not serviced. They did not take into account dietary requirements, eg gluten free, even though requested in advance.

The sound proofing of the ceiling could have been better. Guests upstairs were walking around and it was quite noisy when they were. Probably an issue that should have been addressed during construction. I would recomend staying on the second floor.

Spacious room with comfy beds (four pillows per queen bed). Some complimentary snacks in the room. Shower over bath. Continental breakfast (cereals, yoghurt, waffles, toast, apples, hard-boiled eggs, cheddar) included. Plenty of parking.

We absolutely loved our stay in our very large, comfy and quiet room with two queen beds and little 'salon'. We appreciated the nice coffee machine with pads and the fact that we could prepare/have a (limited but sufficient) breakfast earlier than the 'official' breakfast service hours. Friendly host and large free parking. Perfect location for hiking at the westcoast of Cape Breton.

The location is great as it’s high on a hill and has iconic yellow chairs to enjoy the sunset. Our rooms faced the back of the property in the “barn” looking building. It was quaint and had a B&B feel.

This was a last minute booking so there wasn't much choice or availability. Therefore we had to share a room with our kids. It turned out great, room was spacious, clean, comfortable and the place itself was great. Would stay there again.

A nice quiet location facing the sea. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, muffins, etc. Good conversation with other guests at the breakfast table.

Good location in Chéticamp. The place is dated but was clean. There was a washer and dryer available to use for free and we took advantage of that, which was good after one week into our rtoad trip .

Climbing the stairs with our luggage. However, the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The options available to eat were very limited. The small dining room was not big enough to accommodate all the guests nor was it big enough to have a decent spread of food. It was total chaos in the morning. We stayed for two days and went down as early as possible the 2nd day, but it was still crowded. It had kind of a weird vibe at the one and only table where people could sit. Some people chatted but many just ate silently and avoided eye contact. Not my idea of a good time.

A little way from town, not a problem if driving. Room is clean and comfortable and host provided chocolate snacks and ear plugs (not needed, was quiet). The breakfast area was small and after reading other reviews, we skipped it. Co-op supermarket down the road and cafes / coffee shops open early.

The cleanliness, location and parking

The cost of the stay was excessive, being nearly twice as much as we'd paid in other locations in Maritime Canada. For this cost we expected a very good breakfast as the reviews had indicated. But it was disappointing both from the food selection available and the seating arrangements. It was more like a hostel experience rather than a hotel. We are both vegan, which was advised in advance, but no effort had been made to provide anything vegan for us. Even the non-vegan selection was very poor. There wasn't enough seating for everyone, with some people taking their breakfast back to their room. Providing many bars of chocolates and sweets in the room was not necessary or healthy. The staff were surly at check-in and made no effort to assist people at breakfast.

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay. The Host was super friendly and very helpful with directions and ideas on where to go. Go for dinner at L’Abri Restaurant Et Bar (#1 in Cheticamp).

Should have stayed longer.

Schön auf einem Hügel gelegen mit einen tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Nicht weit bis zur Stadt und zu Restaurants. Ein paar Minuten bis zum Eingang des Nationalparks. Mit Liebe eingerichtete Zimmer. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten überall, z. B. ein paar kostenlose Süßigkeiten, Kosmetiktücher im Bad, an der Kaffeemaschine und am Bett, ein Schal, falls man draußen sitzen will. Kühlschrank vorhanden. Fernseher mit der Möglichkeit Streamingdienste zu nutzen. Frühstück ist Self Service. Kein warmes Frühstück, aber Cerealien, Toast, Käse (!) etc. Ein Kühlschrank mit Getränken und eine Nespresso-Maschine können rund um die Uhr genutzt werden. Boxen stehen bereit, so dass man sich was einpacken kann. Sehr nettes Personal. Unsere schönste Unterkunft auf der Reise.

Wenn viel los ist, wird es im Frühstücksraum eng. Keine Bodylotion.

Our room was large, very clean and comfortable.

I would have given this property a higher rating if it wasn't for the breakfast and the breakfast space. Breakfast was significantly below average. The few items offered were highly processed and high in sugar. Apples were the only fruit and hard boiled egg the only unprocessed item. The breakfast room could seat about 8-10 people and the first morning it was packed and uncomfortably crowded.

Petit déjeuner de base. Pas de buffet chaud.:( On s'attendait à plus de choix considérant le prix plus élevé que la moyenne. Par contre, il y avait des petites collations disponibles à la chambre. L'emplacement était bien.

La chambre est un peu désuète. 2 lits doubles. Il n'y a pas assez de place pour installer les bagages. Le prix était plutôt élevé comparativement aux autres établissements sélectionnés dans notre voyage incluant un déjeuner buffet(8).

Der Frühstücksraum ist viel zu klein. Da es nur zwischen 8 und 10 Uhr Frühstück gibt und sicher alle Gäste ziemlich zügig ihre Reise weiterführen wollen, quetschen sich um 8 Uhr alle Gäste in den Frühstücksraum. Wir hatten zum Glück das Zimmer direkt neben der Reception und dem Frühstücksraum, so konnten wir das Frühstück bei uns im Zimmer essen.

Es war sehr hellhörig und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht ganz gestimmt, dafür war es etwas zu teuer. (Frühstücksbuffet war sehr einfach)

Our room was a bit dated

We thought the accommodations were very clean and well thought out, the location in general was a good one for sightseeing in the area. Any staff we spoke with were very courteous and helpful.

Our only complaint and it's not really a complaint was the small breakfast area. We were looking forward to the free breakfast because there are many positive reviews about it, but it was standing room only and there just wasn't enough there to offer, that I would stand and squeeze in that close proximity to people. I'm sure extroverts love it, but we chose to do breakfast other places :)

The inn is very attractive from the outside. We were upgraded to a big room with a king-size bed. We had a nice view towards the water. We had to seek help with the heating controls. The parking was very convenient. The lady was welcoming. There was chocolate in the room.

The heating and air conditioner rattled so it was hard to know what to do at night. Breakfast was all in packets except for bananas. It seemed overpriced compared with other places.

Location relative to Cape Breton NP was good. Options seem limited. Room was clean but small and very basic.

There are limited options in the area. Cost was expensive relative to room size and amenities. The continental breakfast was weak.

It has a lovely setting to watch the sunset on good nights. It is a good base for the west side of the Cabot Trail.

Loved the location. It was quiet and had great views. Easy parking. We also liked the morning Nespresso coffee, breakfast items, the fridge in our room and abundance of water and juices for our daily needs.

Town wasn't walkable distance

We were very kindly upgraded to a room with a view after we asked if that was possible. Being early in the season they were able to accommodate our request and we were very appreciative.

Offering some gluten free bread or muffins for breakfast would be nice but that being said there were yogurts, fruit and hard boiled eggs available.

Bed is not comfortable, bathtub was not very clean, breakfast is simple. The inn is overpriced compared to what you get. We stayed in similar inns that were cleaner and had more comfrotable beds in the area at half the price.

The Inn is very cute. The room was comfortable and well appointed. There was a large (and comfy) king-size bed, fridge, coffee machine, and snacks in the room. It’s slightly outside of town and very quiet. The free breakfast was coffee/tea, cereal, toast, and bananas.

We could hear footsteps and loud noises from the room above us very early in the morning. I don’t think the building is soundproofed.

We decided to do a Fall trip to CB and love the Cheticamp area. We had a lovely room, spacious and modern. Everything was placed tastefully and efficiently. What stood out even more was the beautiful view from our large windows. It was a great spot to watch 2 of the World Series Blue Jay games!! We also enjoyed the dining room with breakfast included! Lots of options and the staff were very friendly! Great location with food establishments and great hikes not far, including the infamous Skyline Trail!

The price was a little high for off season but I guess they are becoming that way everywhere!!

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good. We only stayed a night after going around the cape so it was very nice to have a quiet place to rest. The area was so peaceful and we enjoyed looking at the stars! It was a nice escape from living in a city!

There is no elevator so consider the weight of your luggage! Cannot complain since accommodations were very good!

Too expensive for the services & room

It was a great location, just out of Cheticamp. Parking was easy to find and the property had a lovely view towards the water. The room was clean and accessible.

Free breakfast was included, however it was made very clear that this did not include a tip. I'd prefer to pay more and not have to scramble to find cash for a gratuity. I found this property quite expensive for what was essentially an older motel.

The staff were really nice. We arrived right after the season was ending so there were not many places open to eat. They called to let us know that only three restaurants were open and only until 7. Also, the breakfast at the hotel was very good.

It was slightly pricey but we understood that it was one the few places open during the off season.

The hot breakfast was great, with a lot of choices and they actually served you rather than being served from a buffet. Location was just outside of the main part of town, so it was easy to access everything.

Beds were small - only a double bed size. It was good that there were two, and we each slept in one of the beds instead of sleeping together in one of the beds. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but OK for a single night's stay.

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Room was quite large with a view of the water.

Gute Lage direkt am Cabot Trail mit schöner Aussicht. Zwei große, bequeme Betten.

Frühstück war zwar völlig ok, für den hohen Preis hätte ich mir aber mehr erwartet und der Frühstücksraum war für die Anzahl der Gäste an diesem Morgen defintiv zu klein.

Hier hat alles gepasst.
