Hobbit House Hostel

Staff is good.

Very very very unhygienic and out of service. I booked a private room, the washroom doesn’t have hangers to hang clothes or even one single towel, the room smells of seepage, the blanket smelled the same, the shower doesn’t work, jet pressure doesn’t work. There is absolutely no common area with some vibe, it’s good and clean but more of a dining area with adjacent yoga classes. Skip it.

The interior of this property was absolutely beautiful. It had a classic, elegant feel that made the place genuinely feel like home, while still being unique and special. I’ve traveled to many different places, but I’ve honestly never experienced a property quite like this one. The attention to detail, the warmth, and the character of the interior made the entire stay feel truly memorable. Definitely one of the most unique and beautiful places I’ve ever stayed!

Honestly, there was nothing I disliked about the property. Everything was thoughtfully done, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The entire experience was wonderful, and I genuinely wouldn’t change anything.

My stay was awesome, the staff were friendly, yes during my stay I didn't get that friendly mates but everything was cool.

As i didn't get cool mates so my stay was quite boring,

room was dirty..they charged 3000 and it was not worth it..there was no fan..no electricity..flush was not working.. bucket was broken..there was nothing in the room except for dust n broken items

My bunk had a window with no curtain and it was so hot in the rooms the fans are non existent

Good 👍it's right within a hill in the waterfalls. I got a view of the waterfalls from my room 24 by 7. The Hobbit people n guests were really nice. U can trek to Secret Waterfall in 1 hr. We trekked even beyond the waterfall

AC wasn't working. Unable to sleep bcoz of extreme heat.

I stayed here for 2 days, its really really beautiful place, right near the waterfall and stunning mountain views, you will here waterfall water flowing soung on your bed 24x7 , overall it feels like home to me.

The Staff was very good and the interior is top notch. Food is good and the best part is the view around and the secret waterfall beside the property

Some hygiene issues as toilets were not that clean and the beds are not that much organised Location is so high so only come here if you have scooty or personal vehicle

A well-maintained property with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The check-in process was quick, and the room was spotless. The overall experience exceeded expectations and made the stay memorable.

It seems its located on other side of planet .this is the first stay of my life where electricity was not there no backup nothing. And its utter nonsense and waste of money . Worst experience will not even suggest my enemy to stay there

The only good thing about the place is the Location. Everything else is disgusting.

Things there just somehow hanging on. Unclean bedsheets, phoney/uninterested staff, unhygienic room, unclean kitchen etc... Boho, cool is one thing and uncleanliness is another thing.

This place feels like home. Anytime I am in Rishikesh/Tapovan area…I will be staying here. The staff are the warmest and friendliest people you will come across. Exceedingly comfortable stay. They provide you with anything you could need. And the people I met here will be friends for a lifetime. It is a chill atmosphere rather than your typical party hostel. Exactly what I wanted. These guys are all legends. Oh and the food/tea is excellent.

The vibe of the place is amazing

Basically nothing, only the staff was nice.

Wonderful Spring water near by so the rhythmic sound was so soothing . Kitchen Bhaiya was very kind and courteous. Over all management was good.

Non smokers would find it really tough as they get subjected to passive smoking as people are smoking everywhere. So not a good place for non smokers ! Better prefer private room or an ashram stay.

Das Zimmer war sehr kalt und lieblos eingeruchtet. In der Küche die zum Zimmer gehört, gab es eine Induktuonsplatte und 2 zwrkratzte Pfannen, sonst keine Kocutensilien, auch keine Teller oder Tassen!

Place was good but location is just off road till parking

Roof was awesome tk chill yourself with sound of floting river

everything its the perfect little hidden gem in upper tapovan and the constant sound of the stream running down into the river is the icing on the cake

The vibe of the place is amazing, you can just relax and enjoy the peace and sound of the river floating near you, The staff are very friendly and ready to help you whenever you want, The food was amazing at the restaurant. On the day of Shivratri the Host made some special dinner and drinks for us which was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend you to stay at Hobbit House

The waterfall next to the property adds a very beautiful charm to the place - I loved the food there - its made with so much love and they always have such beautiful stories and small get together which are super highlights of the place -Special Shoutout to Omie - he's an amazing Host - I loved his presence - he brings such joy

The property is beautifully located with a lovely waterfall flowing right next to it, which makes the atmosphere very relaxing. It’s away from crowded tourist areas, perfect for travelers who want quiet and natural beauty. The hosts are very humble, friendly, and always ready to help. Clean, calm, and a great experience overall. Highly recommended!

Best Hostel near waterfall. Clean beds and Dorm. Staff is very helpful. Food is great. Their common area is cherry on top where you can meet solo travelers. Best place to stay 🤗

Location was quite good but continuously we were getting irritated with the noise of construction work.

Smelly beddings Rusty blankets Unhygienic washrooms. Room was pathetic

very rude owner. people just stinking around smoking hash/weed and sleeping at the same spot due to high while speaking vulgar words.. they refused to take payment and keep mentioning can pay later which seems suspicious as if its a trap.
