Villa Kampia vs Similar Hotels

Several guests report outdated rooms and bathrooms, uncomfortable mattresses/pillows and some A/C/furniture needing refurbishment — clear area for improvement.

Generally described as clean (guest specifically noted 'clean' and well-kept public areas); one guest requested more frequent pool cleaning, but overall housekeeping is praised.

Strong location highlights: sea-view pool, convenient shuttle/train to the beach, good parking and pleasant setting — frequently cited as a key positive.

Consistently praised for friendly, helpful and professional staff (multiple mentions of attentive restaurant/bar staff and useful shuttle service); one guest felt a lack of hospitality, but the consensus is excellent service.

Food and breakfast are frequently praised ('very good food', 'delicious regional food', 'excellent breakfasts'); a few guests found on-site dining disappointing or wanted more gluten-free variety.

Pool, shuttle/train to beach and breakfast area are positives (pool open late noted); however some guests missed in-room amenities (kettle, toaster, iron), reported extra charges for kitchen use and occasional AC/wifi issues.

Mixed value perception: good food and facilities for many, but complaints about misleading photos, extra daily charges (kitchen use) and missing advertised items reduced perceived value.
