Reception staff were wonderful: welcoming, thoughtful, pro-active. Truly outstanding service.

We would have appreciated more hooks in the room for towels and wet clothes (from Patagonian weather!).

Great location on the edge of town but close to everything. Room was perfect and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Can't fault it. It was a little pricey though, but worth it.

It’s located right at the trailhead of fitz Roy, which is convenient as after 22km of hiking, one would want to go back to the room as as soon possible. The room is quite small for 3 people but we managed. The staff is really friendly with our planning. They responded to my inquiries prior to my arrival and helped me planning my hiking.

Room is a bit small, bathroom is really tight.

Very good property. The hotel is very cute, beds are comfortable, they cleaned the room very fast and it was very well heated. The staff is super nice and helpful, they gave us recommendations and tips for some of the trails. Location is great - it is a few steps away from the beginning of all trails and there are some restaurants very close. Overall the town is small so everything can be done by foot.

The desk staff was super friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for our trip. The breakfast was very good. The lodge was so close to the hiking trails that we were able to walk there as well as to many of the restaurants in town.

My only suggestion would to to have some comfortable seating in the common areas. Our room had a chair and the bed. After hiking all day, it would be nice to have a comfortable place to relax and read, chat or have a glass of wine.

El precio es alto y por ello uno espera que todo esté bien. Lamentablemente el soporte de la ducha estaba suelto por falta de mantenimiento y bañarse sosteniendo la ducha no es cómodo, de igual forma el agua caliente varía y de repente te sale más caliente de la cuenta haciendo que la ducha no sea placentera. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The staff was very helpful- check in and check out were quick and painless. The location of the hotel next to one of the main trailheads was a big plus. That also meant it was at the end of the strip of hostels, bars, and restaurants which attributed to its quietness. The room itself was nice with tall ceilings (not something you usually see). The king bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage storage.

It was not a cheap room and the breakfast was a little disappointing. I expected a larger spread but in reality, it did suffice.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! It is also extremely close to the main trails in the area - I don't know that you can stay any closer! The room was a good size and even had brushes for boots after a day on the dusty trail. Walking poles were available for hire.

Location is best in the village, comfortable rooms, you can rent hiking poles and staff is really helpful. The best detail was that the staff checked the weather before our arrival and advised the bestvday to take ghe long hike. (Which was a different day that we would pick based on iphoe weather. Was really helpful)

Everyone working there was so friendly!! You could feel they were truly enjoying working at the hotel. Great advice, recommendations. Possibility to rent equipment, order lunch boxes. Best location place : right next to the departure/arrival of the trekkings. Far from the noise of the main street but just close enough so you don't feel isolated.

Breakfast options were limited Bed were not very comfortable, but very clean. A bit expensive for a 3 stars, but these are the prices in El Chaltén unfortunately.

Best location for hiking Fitz Roy trail.

Hotel limpo, confortável, bem decorado. Cama e chuveiro nota 10. Café da manhã impecável. Com ovos mexidos, medias lunas deliciosas e até salada de frutas! As funcionárias da recepção são super prestativas e dão várias dicas sobre a região, inclusive previsão do tempo acuradíssima.

Único ponto a melhorar seria colocar cortinas blackout mais compridas e largas para vedar bem a entrada de luz.

Poor sound insulation, though not terrible. We did not have a full hotel when we stayed there though. A bit expensive, but in line with Chalten prices

We loved breakfast in the cozy dining room, and the accommodations were simple but exceptionally clean and comfortable. The lodge is close to several good restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the trailhead for excellent hikes. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Pudu Lodge. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the start of the main hiking trails, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the showers — a welcome treat after long days of trekking. Breakfast was very good and offered a nice variety to start the day right. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, a great base for anyone visiting El Chaltén — we’d happily return!

The location cannot be beat! Shower was hot, bed was comfy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our trekking experience and stay were maximized.
