The owner helped me deliver my lost AirPods. I really appreciate it. Great location; you can have a perfect blue lake sunset view right here. Again, thank you so much for delivering my AirPods.

It was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and clean. We loved it and would definitely stay again. We had two different rooms types and both were excellent, however, if the king suite is available...go for it as it has a lovely big balcony and the views were amazing.

It says Dildo but it's actually Broad Cove so a bit misleading if you're not familiar with the area. However, we looked at the map and reviews and it was exactly what we were looking for.

Room 201 is next to a mechanical room (?) which created a low hum throughout the night.

This is a perfect location to see Dildo and surrounding area. Newly reconstructed historic waterfront boathouse with beautifully decorated and equipped accommodation above a lovely restaurant with live music to enjoy

Don’t be fooled by the outside which doesn’t reflect the lovely decor and quality inside

The staff at the dining room was very nice and the food was good. Our room was beautiful. It was spacious, and the view was fantastic .

Fausse publicité pour les chambres seul les chambres avec lit King ont une vue sur la mer . Et encore la c’est assez restreint comme balcon pour voir . Pour le reste on vend avec vue sur mer , mais cela est à travers d’une porte de l’entrée de la chambre sur le côté de l’établissement . il y a un petit balcon mais juste pour entrer dans la chambre on ne peu pas seulement rester sur le balcon car risque de tomber dans les marches . Heureusement que la propriétaire m’a dit qu’elle me rembourserait et c’est ce qu’elle a fait car je ne voulais pas cela . En plus la plomberie était en réparation nous avons dû attendre presque une heure et elle nous a offert une consommation en attendant et lorsque je suis partie ce n’était pas encore réparer .

Restaurant not open at location. Notice of no water at 930 to 1130am due to plumber showing up but yet guests were expected to still check out on time at 11am. Not very helpful or accommodating to guests. For the amount of money for one night that u spend u expect the place to get a plumber once guests checked out at 11am.

Location was perfect! The staff was so pleasant and welcoming. We will surely return if we are in the area again.

Had a restaurant/bar on site so did not have to go out for dinner. Great water view with beautiful sunset. Had interior exits to bar & also exterior exits with small decking

Loose gravel driveway was challenging for some of our group as we were on motorcycles. Exterior stairways only had railings on one side & were a little narrow for carrying luggage up & down.

The Dildo Boathouse Inn was clean and bright. We were worried about the noise from the roadway but heard nothing. It was very quiet.

There was no hot water when we wanted to take a bath, and the bath water was brown (this may be normal but a note to warn us of it would have been better).

Was very disappointed when we got there restaurant bar was closed so we had to go elsewhere and we were never informed or I would’ve canceled. That was the bad service.

The owner and her staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The view from our room overlooking the ocean was spectacular. Had fun socializing in the bar/restaurant.

Every room looks out on the ocean and has a private deck. The rooms are spotless. I appreciated the fridge, mic, and coffeemaker. Bed and linens were comfortable and cozy.

We loved the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming us in their town. The room was well designed; I loved the decor. It was perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable. I liked that it had a fridge, microwave, and table and chairs in our room. Bonus, we got screeched in by Captain Dildo and had many laughs

Room was good size, bed comfortable. Handy restaurant downstairs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Carried my heavy suitcase upstairs for me which was great, no lift!

Couldn't use the big corner bath and gaze out over the bay from the picture window as not enough hot water, staff said wait half an hour for it to warm up it still didn't. Outside light on balcony on all night and window by door has no curtain so ended up blocking it off with pillows! Ate in restaurant which was ok but had to send food back twice for being cold. When I arrived 6pm it was peak restaurant time so not easy to find a parking space.

What a treat! The location (on the water) had amazing sunsets & views. Nice to sit outside and enjoy. Easy drive back into main part of town. Very comfortable - everything we needed for our short visit to the area.

The one thing we did not check / notice was that the restaurant was not open while we were there. We were "pre-summer" so it was to be expected... just wish we could have enjoyed dinner there. Next time. Truly not a big problem as there were other great choices in town for dinner & breakfast.

I loved, loved, loved the bathtub with the ocean view! The food was great as well and the staff were all wonderful! also very clean which is always important. It was just what we needed. The perfect place to getaway for our one year wedding anniversary.

The king suite above the restaurant is not sound proof at all so any amount of noise will be brought to your attention. Staff could be more understanding and have a better approach when communicating any issues that may arise.

The room was very clean and organized. Check in was easy and stress-free. Matt and his team were very friendly and offered to help bring our luggage up the stairs. The rooms are on level 2 with amazing views overlooking the water. There is a swing by the water with a fire pit. The weather cooperated making our first night incredible. After a dinner at the local brewery, about a 20 min walk, we settled in for a fire and some drinks to watch the sunset from the swing. The shower was hot with good pressure the next morning. We will definitely stay there again.

There wasn't anything we disliked. However, if you are not a walker and like to have a few drinks with dinner it is about 20 minutes down the road from town. The road does not have a sidewalk so be prepared. Also, all rooms are on the 2nd floor so again, if you do not like stairs, consider an alternate location.

What we really enjoyed was our Friday night in the restaurant with the entertainment. We also really liked the location of this particular accommodation. It was right on the water. And also, it was easy access to the highway. As well, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in an accommodation that was as spotless as this one! The rooms were also beautifully appointed…. simple, but lovely decor,

The one thing that would make this accommodation better for their guests is to have a common area inside the inn ….aside from the restaurant. An area with a couple comfortable chairs where a person could sit and relax, look ant the view, and yet not feel obligated to order food or a drink. It poured rain one day and we were confined to our room. Our room only had a window in the door. It would’ve been nice to have had another place to sit, to play a game of cards or read, and see more daylight. Also, we were never told that breakfast was included with our room. We inquired about breakfast the day we arrived and our greeter simply stated, “that other guests were asking about breakfast as well…..and that they would check with the owners.” But there was no follow up. However. the day we were leaving the guests staying in the room next to us informed us that they received breakfast two days in a row because it was included in the room. You can imagine how disappointed we were.

The Boathouse Inn was perfectly situated right on the water. The bed and room were comfortable. The best part of our stay was how friendly and engaging the owners were.

It would have been nice if the restaurant was open while we were there, and if breakfast could be served.

Stairs were steep and unexpected. Room was crowded and hot. Not really suited for three adults. Would have appreciated being able to eat there especially for breakfast. There were few close options.

Staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable.

Appeared to be very little soundproofing between the rooms as some of our travelling party could hear people coughing or snoring in nearby rooms. It is about 2.5km walk from town and there's not an easy way to walk there.

We enjoyed the balcony, tub and comfy bed. The view was amazing. The place seems to be just recently repainted or remodelled. So clean and pretty. We appreciate that they accommodated us for checking in late.

Tight space in the shower and not enough counter space. The place can use a bit of sound proofing. We can hear our neighbors talk and each footstep on the hallway sounded so heavy.

New, very clean, great owners and staff, bed was quite comfortable, quiet, price was great for what it was.

Not that I did not like it, but I believe new owners are working on a menu and dishes. I think a bit more refinement might be needed. However, I did like my cod au gratin. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere and live entertainment.
