Cozy and clean and frat location and value

The cabins are very well made and cute. My boyfriend and I had no issues with the space. I feel they did a very good job utilizing the space - there’s space for you to unpack your things, the bathroom was a very nice size with places to hang towels and to put your cosmetic/hygiene products. There is air con and a fan in the room. Lots of natural light. The true highlight of the cabin is the front balcony sitting area. Wow. A whole bench with pillows and a table with chair to work on your laptop with a coffee station. We really enjoyed that area. The staff were accommodating and brought us hot water so we could still make coffee during the power outages. The WiFi was reliable during the non-power outage times. The air con, hot water, and shower pressure all worked as they should. The cabin and the surrounding common areas were impeccably clean.

We stayed 5 nights here and the truth is we would’ve extended our stay for even more nights here because we loved it so much. However, with no generator in the mornings during the daily 4am - 12pm power outages, we got too hot. I think it is okay though for people who have shorter stays in Port Barton and are doing tours and activities in the first half of the day.

Leuke overnachting in Port Barton! Schattig huisje, hou er wel rekening mee dat het klein is! Goede airco. Op loopafstand van strand en leuke restaurantjes! Er werken hele aardige mensen, kon de was daar laten doen en ze regelden tours. Voor het huisje leuk zitje met koffie en thee.

Er was geen stroom tussen 4:00-12:00, volgens mij is dat tijdelijk.

L’hôte était super gentille et serviable. Le côté cabane individuelle est vraiment sympa et intimiste.

Si vous avez un sommeil léger : on entend le coq des voisins à 4 h du matin même avec des bouchons d’oreilles

Bien situado y bastante tranquilo. El personal es muy atento y amable.

Un día se fue la luz por la noche y sin aire acondicionado se hizo muy complicado, pero volvió unas horas más tarde. Estaría bien que tuvieran un motor secundario que pudiera ayudar en estos casos, que al parecer son bastante comunes.

La gérante des 4 bungalows est d’une très grande gentillesse, toujours là pour vous aider, vous rendre service et que votre séjour ce passe au mieux. Vous pouvez faire laver votre linge par cette dame c’est 100 pesos le kilos. Le linge sent très bon propre séché et repassé. Vous pouvez réserver scooter avec elle, elle tient une petite épicerie si il vous manque quelque chose c’est très utile. Il y a une cuisine à partager avec les 4 bungalow, avec vaisselle frigidaire et de l’eau potable à disposition pour remplir votre gourde. L’emplacement est parfait, à 4 min à pied de la plage et 7 min à pied de la station de bus, tout au tour bar, restaurant. L’emplacement est idéal et calme mis à part le chien du voisin. Serviette de toilette, gel douche, shampoings à disposition. Les bungalows sont exactement comme les photos sur booking.

There was a strong, irritating smell of burning leaves and possibly garbage in the area. It seemed to be coming from nearby properties, so it wasn’t the fault of the owners, but still a problem in Port Barton :(

Es una cabaña perfecta !!Super bonita y cómoda y cuenta con un buen baño y una terraza donde poder desayunar . Aparte de la buena ubicación !!

La signora che gestisce la struttura è squisita, ha prestato aiuto per qualsiasi esigenza. La camera è piccolina ma super pulita, curata nei dettagli e dotata di aria condizionata. C’è anche un piccolo store, sempre gestito dalla signora, in cui acquistare snack e bevande.

Nulla, qualche piccolo problema tecnico è da mettere in conto. Ad esempio la corrente che è saltata due volte ma la signora ha risolto il problema in pochi minuti.

Spazio immerso nella natura,architettura tradizionale,stanza pulita.

Superficie stanza molto ridotta. Consiglierei di aggiungere una doccia esterna comune.

It was OK. Nothing special. But it was pretty cheap.

There was a basketball event going on next door, that ran from 6pm until midnight. Terrible noise. We should have been advised by the host and given the opportunity to cancel. We booked 6 nights and left after 2. We couldn't sleep.

Las cabañas son muy bonitas, están muy limpias y la cama era cómoda. El personal ha sido atento sin atosigar, así que muy bien.

La calle en la que está es muy oscura y sin asfaltar, lo cual dificulta el tránsito, sobre todo cuando llueve. En los alrededores hay gallos que cantan 24 horas y, si tienes el sueño ligero, en la noche es complicado dormir.

The room is very nice, small but you have everything you could need. Super clean, nice towels and bedding and all the toiletries you could need. Free Coffee station in your private patio. Very good free wi-fi. Close to the beach and the restaurants around the village. The host is super nice and helpful. Very much suggested.

La struttura é carinissima e il personale é estremamente cordiale. La camera é molto piccola ma ha tutto l’essenziale per trascorrere un paio di notti a Port Barton. Dalla struttura, la via principale e il mare sono raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi.

Todo genial! Agua caliente, gel y champú, zona tranquila, personal atento... Muy buena calidad precio. Pudimos descansar bien.

Cambiaría el ventilador... Pues era gigante y en la primera posición ya salías volando. Así que no lo usamos. Sólo el aire acondicionado, que hacía un poco de ruido, como la mayoría en Filipinas. Pero nada grave.

Hele leuke hutjes, en personeel was super. Het is binnen niet groot maar dat is vooraf bekend, maar het balkon maakt dit zeker goed. Zeker een aanrader.

The accommodation was very nice and I was very satisfied. It was clean, with no insects, and there was no chance of any getting inside because the windows had screens and the doors were well sealed. The property has four cottages, each with its own terrace and privacy. We parked our motorbike right in front of the cottage under a roof. In front of the cottage there was also a tap for rinsing off, for example, sandy feet after coming back from the beach. The cottage has its own bathroom and a fully functioning air conditioning unit. The bathroom was nice, clean, and equipped with soap and towels. The cottages are located within a private property, so I felt safe. The main beach, where the boat tours depart and where the restaurants are, was about a 5-minute walk away. There were also many restaurants and food stalls nearby. Finally, I would like to highlight how amazing the host was. She was very kind, advised us to visit the waterfalls in the area and to try island hopping, which she even booked for us, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. I was really very satisfied and I would recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Zugegebenermaßen war ich vor meinem Aufenthalt kritisch gespannt auf die Unterkunft, da ich bei dem günstigen Preis irgendeinen Haken erwartet habe. Aber im Gegenteil: Eine suuper tolle Unterkunft, sehr ruhig und nett in einer grünen Anlage gelegen. Man hat echt seine eigene kleine Hütte für sich. Diese ist sauber und einwandfrei in Stand gehalten. Es gibt sogar eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche, in der ich zwar nicht gekocht, aber das kostenlose Trinkwasser genutzt habe. Die Managerin der Anlage ist außerdem total sympathisch, lieb und hilfsbereit. Egal ob Small talk, Wegbeschreibung, Wäscheservice, aus meinem Zimmer ausgeschlossen,.. - mir wurde immer sehr nett geholfen. Ich hatte schöne 5 Nächte hier und würde sehr gerne wiederkommen.

lovely little private room separate from other guests. staff were super accommodating and helpful. we rented a scooter from the property and were able to pay later- as well as the laundry service too. the shop out front was also convenient! the lady running the property was the highlight of our stay- she was so so kind:)

Jean is an excellent host who made us feel at home straight away. Laundry is also available within the property for a good price.

The room is small but it was fine for me and the toilet is nice. It is very well located, 5 min walking from everything. The staff is super friendly and helpful! I felt sick the last day of my stay and they were very caring and helpful. I definitely recommend!

Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It's a cute cabin. They have AC and fan. Hot and cold shower works well too. They have a common area and kitchen where we sometimes cooked egg for our breakfast. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay.

The property is very near to the beach and restaurants. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay.

The room size is quite cosy for 2 people, it’s good enough for a couple nights but no more. There was a balcony area which was ideal for hanging out towels after the beach. The bathroom wasn’t that clean but the air con was good just noisy, we also had the option of a fan which was quieter. We stayed for 4 nights so it would have been nice to have our room cleaned at least once as the bin filled up and it got very sandy. The location was good maybe a 3 min walk to restaurants. They also offered laundry and motorbike rental so that was handy.

You have your own “house”. It was small but you have enough space. Was clean and the stuff was nice. They also have a mosquito net available.

Was a bit far from the bus terminal

It was located on a quieter street off the main street, great location. Huts had air con and fan so the room was always nice and cold. Ensuite was spacious and had everything you need. Very basic but would definitely recommend! They also helped us book tours and transfers!

The cabin was the perfect place to stay, it was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. It was very clean and well looked after. The bed was really comfy & the shower was hot! The owner is really lovely and welcoming, we wish we could have stayed longer

BFF backpackers inn is a lovely little property for a couple to enjoy. It’s a little cabin house with one large bed, air conditioning, a fan and small bathroom (wet room). The balcony outside had some tea/coffee facilities and a place to dry your swim wear or chill out. Free water is available in the communal kitchen. It’s a small space but perfect for us. It is super clean and the linen and towels are replaced within 3 days and the cabin is cleaned thoroughly again. You can access anything from booking boat tours, or transfers, renting motorbikes or getting your laundry done at reception with Jane or Joanne. Jane and Joanne are very kind hosts and could not be more helpful. They also have a little shop where you can get snacks or drinks.

It is a cabin so there is naturally some openings in the floorboards and geckos can enter. If you don’t want this I wouldn’t book here. But the upside was there were no insects or bugs in the cabin

I had the best time in this hotel and I wish I stayed longer. The cottages are located in a big garden. They have all the equipment you need (AC, fan, kettle, coffee, umbrella, purified water in the shared kitchen) and the bed is very comfortable. The WiFi was fast as well. The location is quiet without heavy traffic or roosters crowing throughout the night. Finally, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. They will help you book all your tours and transfers.

Lovely property in a secluded area, staff were so welcoming and helpful. Everything you could need was thought of in the accommodation including a kettle and coffee!!

Slightly loud with cockerels and karaoke but this is made known on the information sheet.

Good location just a short walk from the beach and the bus station. The rooms are small but if you only have a few nights stay then it’s no bother.

The floors aren’t solid meaning bugs and moziquitos can get into the room quiet easily.

The acommodation for one person was a good size, but for me personally, it would be too small to share it. Good location, short walking distance to the busterminal and the beach. Lovely and very helpful owners!

Eventhough it provides everything you need, for me personall, I would choose something less basic the next time.

The hut was cute, small but had everything you needed. The bathroom was quite big. The location was great, less than 5 minutes to the beach.

Our water kept being turned off by the host which meant we were without water for a length of time and had to ask for it to be turned back on. Not ideal as you couldn't even flush the toilet .

Absolutely lovely little cabin with the cutest balcony to enjoy a cup of tea. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Jane was fantastic and arranged our boat tour and bus to El Nido. Definitely recommend and we hope we will be able to return.

Too loud dogs and roosters go crazy all night

Super cute huts, private bathroom and comfortable beds. Small but cosy. The lady who runs the place is brilliant, she was so helpful and she booked our tours for us! We even rented a moped for the day, only 500 peso, she gave us the key and the bike was outside our hut!!!

No free filtered water (like some hostels have) but we ended up buying at 7 litre bottle instead from her little shop, which did the job.

Nice Bungalow. It has just a fan, but I don't need more. You can walk to the beach or the food market within minutes. They also rent motorbikes there. Room is clean.

Reasonable price for a small but clean hut with attached bathroom and warm shower. Tea and coffeemaking facilities, the first time so far in the Philippines. Helpful staff who sorted out my next destination transfer. 5 mins walk from beach, bus stop and lots of restaurants nearby.

Usual Philippines village life, early morning (6.30am ish) cockerels, dogs, hymn singing, but if you put the room fan on, you can't hear so much.

Really great staff and the location is for sure very unique. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The location is great, 5 minutes away from all Port Barton restaurants and town center.

The room is not very big, it was ok for us because we only stayed a night and had backpacks, but I wouldn't travel with suitcases there.

it is not related to the staff/service, but the place is located next to the church and basketball court. during my stay there was a lot of noise from early morning until very late at night. noises from chickens/roosters, cats, and dogs are persistent all night long. do not recommend if you have light sleep.

We loved staying at this tiny Bungalow, it was cute and lovely. It’s not the biggest one but it’s total enough for staying for some days in Port Barton. We enjoyed sitting outside and having breakfast on our balcony. The welcome was so warm, the employee June made it very special for us. She took care of us in every matter. Also the place has a small kitchen for everyone, that’s awesome. Also the owner was really nice and brought us to the bus station on our last day. I definetely recommend staying here 🙏

The staff made my stay here. The cabin itself was super cute, clean and everything worked but the staff go above and beyond to help you out - renting scooter, booking tours and transfers. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beautiful Port Barton beach and I felt completely safe walking around.

There’s nothing I didn’t like!

Jane was so helpful and sweet, she arranged transport for us to get to El Nido and to the bus station. The room was lovely and clean, nice hot shower and just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants!

I absolutely loved my time at BFF. I was immediately greeted by Jane and her huge smile, she was so attentive throughout my stay and always made sure I was ok. The room itself is small and compact, but has everything you need and the bed is so comfortable. There is no Aircon but a big fan that is relatively quiet and keeps you cool. The room was also immaculately clean and had shower gel and shampoo. The location is also great, a few minutes walk to the main streets of Port Barton and I really enjoyed being slightly back from the main area as you get to see all the school kids finishing school nearby and meet the real residents of Port Barton. The short walk may look a bit intimidating in the dark, but as a solo female traveller I can assure you that I felt incredibly safe.

great location close to the town proper, the host Jane was such a lovely lady. towels & sheets changed every 2 days which was unheard of in other hostels I’ve stayed in while travelling PH!

rooms are very small, ok for me as a solo traveller but may be a squeeze for a couple with lots of luggage. but excellent value for what you pay!
