Power turned off at night so it was ridiculously hot as air con was off and the water ran out both nights we were there so we couldn't shower or flush the toilet.

When we arrived there was dog poo on the lawn which wasn't cleaned by the next morning. However when we asked for it to be cleaned it was done immediately.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Majitele jsou velmi ochotni, pomohli pri zajisteni vyletu a pri zajištěni vanu na dalsi misto . Pronajali nam motorku. Velmi ocenuji i barel s pitnou vodou a kuchyňkou k dispozici, kde je kava. Pokojicek je maly, čisty, docela hlučna starší klimatizace
Ocenila bych vice prostoru na odkladani veci, zasuvky byly špatne, nefunkcni, museli jsme použivat venkovni na terasce.

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026La famille qui tient l’hôtel est vraiment adorable, toujours disponible et très facilitante pour organiser des excursions ou des transferts en van. La présence d’eau chaude est appréciable, et un ventilateur est également disponible dans la chambre.
L’hôtel reste très basique, avec une chambre et une salle de bain assez petites. La climatisation est très ancienne et extrêmement bruyante, au point de rendre le sommeil difficile lorsqu’elle est en fonctionnement.

There was also a pleasant little area just outside, with two chairs and a table, perfect for sitting and relaxing. Good breakfast. Wonderful customer service — the best of our entire stay in the Philippines. Very kind, honest, and genuinely caring people. They even helped us in a very difficult situation; without their assistance, we would have lost a significant amount of money and important documents.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026This is probably been our favorite stay in the philippines so far. nice quiet spot just off the main street so there's not much traffic but still easy enough to walk to all the amenities. 5 minute walk to the beach. Rooms are clean no bugs no ants no rats, which all our other stays had. probably the cleanest and best maintained location! This place is spacious and has shelves and places to put everything. beds are comfortable fan and ac both work well. , staff is always attentive and close by if you need anything . our host helped arrange transportation and excursions they even have motorbikes to rent. Entire area is surrounded by plants and green resort feels like you're in the jungle and while removed from the bustling city. there are a few dogs and cats on site but they're well look after and not mangy. my kids definetly enjoyed them!

Guests can be very loud, but that's not the properties fault! maybe if they could put up signs, outside the rooms reminding the quiet hours

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026La struttura è molto accogliente e ben posizionata. Zona tranquilla fuori dal centro ma a 2 min a piedi da esso e dalla spiaggia. La struttura offre la possibilità di nolleggiare degli scooter e i proprietari sono molto gentoli e disponibili. Organizzano a che trasporti lunghi per esempio per El Nido.
Magari l’unico problema per chi soffre il caldo è che anche se la stanza è fornita di ventole e condizionatore fa comunque un po’ caldo.

The mattresses are very thin and for us a bit uncomfortable. Our room didnt get cleaned (we only stayed two nights, maybe will be cleaned if you stay longer or ask for it?) and it's not great when you bring back sand from the beach

Warm water is available (surprise to us cause other people write there is no hot water). Friendly staff made it feel like a homestay
The windows are a bit open so light hearing for outside (quiet area). Mattresses were a bit hard.

L’emplacement est génial, près des restaurants mais dans une rue calme. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillant, l’endroit est très charmant avec un beau jardin bien entretenu. La chambre était super propre et confortable. L’air climatisée et le wifi fonctionnait parfaitement. Rien à dire de négatif, nous recommandons cet endroit à 100%! :)

Stanza piccola per 2 persone ma adeguata per uno. È alla fine del villaggio, nella parte di strada non asfaltata zona buia di notte. Non c’è il frigo ne il phon ne l’armadio ma alcuni attaccapanni da appendere in bagno. Doccia solo dall’alto. Rumore di notte in camera con condizionatore: 58db(z)

The location is just right, right in the middle of things. The shower was not working, considering a storm just hit the place. But the staff did all they could to make sure I have enough water all the time.
That there was no breakfast as part of the package.

The double bed consisted of 2 mattresses which was sliding a little bit.

Reviewed May 22, 2025This is a great place to stay, with lovely owners and a convenient location. 5 minute walk to the beach and to loads of shops and restaurants. The owners gave us a lovely homemade gift for our wedding anniversary which was really kind, and also let us borrow their dry bag for the day when we went kayaking, they were very helpful people!
The rooms are a bit basic but that is fine for the price! :)

Reviewed Apr 9, 2025When we arrived after a long bus from el Nido, the welcoming from a man wasn’t the warmest. But the following day there was a lovely women who I think ran the place. She was so friendly and helpful. The room is small and dark, the bathroom was abit damp but the location was good. The aircon worked but I wouldn’t say it was cool air coming out. It did feel very safe. The bed was fairly comfortable but there was abit of a smell coming from the bathroom.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025Really an amazing value. In a quiet part of town, it felt like an oasis. Listen the room wasn’t huge but it was super clean, great ac, big bathroom, and we had such a lovely stay. The property was beautiful, each room at a small outdoor sitting area and there was a communal kitchen, plus a communal outdoor lounge. Beautiful grounds with lovely plants. The rooms were clean, the staff were helpful and could get us anything we needed (tour, motorbike rental, laundry, you name it). It was a breath of fresh air after a few bad stays. Would totally stay again
Toilet didn’t work perfectly, sometimes wouldn’t flush. Rooms were a little small, but both those things didn’t matter to us. It was an amazing amazing value and I highly recommend.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2025The rooms are like chalets set in a small garden and each has a small terrace. The room was on the small side, but this is reflected in the price. The owners were super friendly and we booked our island hoping tour through them, which was excellent. It's a couple of blocks back from the beach but only a five minute walk away. Sleepy Port Barton is tiny so everything is reachable on foot. Breakfast wasn't included but you can order from a set menu and they bring it to your terrace.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2025When we arrived it was immediately a warm welcome. Loved the atmosphere there and the family that owns the homestay is so nice! One night after we went out for dinner we even were invited to join for some drinks with the family who had some friends over. Also very helpful with booking transport and travel advice. Motorbikes are good quality. Roads in Port Barton are not for the weak so be warned. Location is amazing. Short walk to the beach and all the nice restaurants, but also a bit more quiet.

The nicest people we met, during our stay one of our friends got injured, they were very thoughtful and kind, took care of us with lots of patience Highly recommended!!!
