C'est un gite avec plusieurs étages, les chambres sont très bien nous avons pris des draps en option car de nombreux Pèlerins viennent avec leurs sacs de couchages donc pas fourni en standard. Une salle de bain par étage qui est partagée. Les propriétaires du site sont très gentils, c'est des passionnés.

Alojamiento muy viejo y sucio, lleno de telarañas. Las sábanas y las toallas no estan incluídas y tampoco había jabón de manos en el baño. Además, pasamos mucho calor ya que en plena ola de calor no nos dejaron ni un ventilador. Vale la pena pagar un poco más e ir a un sitio mejor.

El albergue se ce abandonado, huele mucho a viejo y a húmedo, me dio una alergia respiratoria impresionante. El cogin que dan para almohada es enorme. Nada cómodo, hace calor no hay ventilador. Es necesario El buen descanso para la etapa que hacen los peregrinos, no lo recomiendo

El agua de la ducha solo sale caliente, al menos en el segundo piso. Entiendo que suele ser la que se necesita, pero en verano estaría bien poder regularla. Por otro lado, y aunque no es culpa suya, el tráfico de camiones molesta un poco.

Gite Compostella e’ una scadente struttura, che sicuramente, non merita il prezzo pagato ( €111,00, per una tripla) Arrivati alle 20,30 non abbiamo trovato nessuno, solo un biglietto fuori la porta, con il nome, e le chiavi nella toppa. Stanza non accogliente, c’erano solo i tre letti Struttura che avrebbe bisogno di una profonda ristrutturazione.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Heel fijn hostel met goede faciliteiten. Mooi karakteristiek pand, centraal gelegen. Ontzettend vriendelijke hoost, telefonisch goed bereikbaar. De kamer was comfortabel en goed uitgerust. Een hele fijne plek geweest voor een rustdag tijden mij meerdaagse wandeltocht (GR10).
Ik heb niet een gemeenschappelijke buitenruimte gezien. Maar er is wel ruimte om buiten een wasje op te hangen (op het balkon) en ik heb eigenlijk ook geen buitenruimte nodig gehad, het hostel ligt zo dicht bij de stad dat je daar heel gemakkelijk naar uit kan wijken!

Équipements déglingués (distributeur de papier toilette qui pend, lames de persiennes manquantes, pas de crochets sur de nombreuses persiennes, chambranles de portes endommagés...). La cuisine et la salle à manger sont très correctes, mais l'ensemble de l'établissement donne l'impression d'un défaut total d'entretien.

I never met the hosts during my stay. I would have liked to ask some questions that was difficult. I was there during a record heat wave and the rooms were so hot! It would have been nice if there were fans.

The door knob and door lock were a bit complicated to lock. If I remember correctly, there was no soap in the bathroom?

It would benefit from somewhere to hang washing but that wasn't really a big problem. Excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre and 15 minutes walk from the station.

The welcome message was a reminder to vacate by 8am. Then another message came letting us know there was no breakfast. No shampoo or soap or towels are provided for guests staying in private rooms with shared bathrooms. I paid almost double what I usually pay for a private room on the Camino to be comfortable on night one and was surprised that my private room did not have real sheets or pillowcases, just covers like airplanes have. It was itchy and uncomfortable. Also the toilet stall door is so loud it wakes the house.

Ela foi extremamente prestativa desde a minha chegada e ainda fez questão de indicar lugares para passear e relaxar, o que tornou minha experiência muito mais tranquila. Como esta foi a minha primeira viagem sozinha ao exterior, estava um pouco ansiosa, especialmente por causa dos atrasos no transporte. A atenção, a simpatia e a disponibilidade da Lydie fizeram toda a diferença e me ajudaram a reduzir o estresse. Recomendo o Gite Compostela pela excelente hospitalidade e pelo cuidado genuíno com os hóspedes. Foi uma experiência muito positiva que guardarei com carinho.

Lovely kitchen, dining and sitting area. Sheets and towels are excluded however we were told beforehand. Duvet is provided as a blanket.
