Pavimento con moquette Stanza poco insonorizzata Mancava il phon in bagno (ma la proprietaria me ne ha comunque fornito uno su richiesta)

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Great location, lovely room with beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was very reasonably priced and the food was fresh and delicious! Staff were very kind and accomodating. Would absolutely stay again!
The only downside was in our particular room, the sloping roof in the bathroom meant you couldn’t have a standing-up shower, but the bath was good!

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026De locatie is geweldig! Er is een prachtig uitzicht, en het is heel centraal om naar de Oeschinensee te kunnen gaan. Kandersteg is een leuk dorpje om doorheen te lopen. De kamers waren prima.

L’hotel est super bien placé, calme et notre chambre avait une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Le petit déjeuné était super. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The hotel sits in the centre of the town and it is close to the shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very responsive and helpful. We especially appreciated that they allowed us to leave our car in the hotel parking space even after check-out. The room also had useful toiletries and complimentary water bottles. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!
The hotel feels quite old and dark, and some of the corridors were poorly lit. Hotel supplies and extra beds were stored in the corridors, which made the areas look cluttered and did not add to the overall comfort or atmosphere. The breakfast was very basic and limited. It included pineapple yogurt, which we didn’t enjoy, along with cheese, ham, and a cold boiled eggs. Overall, I would rate the breakfast 4/10.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Fantastic location a very short stroll from the centre of Kandersteg. The staff were very kind and helpful. Amazing views from the rooms (one of which had a balcony). Rooms are decent value for money by Swiss standards and the food downstairs in the restaurant was good value and very tasty!
The rooms need re-decorating and felt dated, but we knew this before booking and to be fair it is all part of the charm with this property. It's not the Ritz but it worked well for our needs.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026It was pretty nice, the ladies were so friendly, the restaurant pizza was delicious, it was busy during the night but service was fine knowing that there was a bit of shortage in staff, the lady was very kind she offered us hot water for the tea for our room.
No tissue in the room, rooms are very small, breakfast could have more options.

staff were always busy dealing with the restraunt customers rather than looking after the hotel guests. breakfast was much later than other hotels ive stayed with in Kandersteg. which ment we didnt get to have breakfast each morning. wifi was extra and was not offerd on arrival.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026The room is in a lovely Swiss-style building in a beautiful location, with mountains and waterfalls surrounding. It is located close to the stunning Oeschinensee lake and was clean and comfortable. We loved eating at the restaurant and had beautiful pizzas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the free parking was convenient and the rate was good value for the area. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would love to stay there again.

Ráférne egy alapos felújítás. A berendezés és a bútorok elég régiek és használtasak. A zuhanyzó pedig egy függönnyel volt leválasztva a hálószobáról, ami kissé kellemetlen volt.

Betten sind sehr durchgelegen, Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und klein. Andererseits war es für Schweizer Verhältnisse auch sehr günstig, also voll in Ordnung.
