Le personnel est très gentil et très arrangeant. La cuisine est bonne ainsi que le petit dej. Les excursions sont très bien organisées. Les prix restent quand même plus élevés que dans le reste du Sulawesi mais le séjour s’est très bien passé.

We stayed here for two nights and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The staff are really nice and everything is well organized. The place is super clean, and the hilltop room has an amazing view. The food is great. A big thank you to our guide Junly. He was always respectful of the forest and animals, but still managed to show us everything. We'd definitely come back.

Exceptionnel ! Après avoir voyagé dans toute la Sulawesi depuis plusieurs semaines, nous pouvons dire que l'accueil, la nourriture et le cadre sont parfaits. Tout le monde est au petit soin afin que notre séjour se passe au mieux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Nous avons adoré et reviendrons avec grand plaisir car toute l'équipe est très attachante et chaleureuse ! Un vrai bonheur d'avoir eu la chance de choisir cet hôtel ! Les massages sont fabuleux !

Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind traumhaft schönit Blick ins Grüne. Das Personal ist enorm gastfreundlich,aufmerksam und herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und sie haben jede Bitte direkt erfüllt sowie unsere Touren zum Tangokopark organisiert,die ebenfalls grandios waren mit sehr guten Guides. Das Essen war absolut fantastisch. Die Lage ist ideal,um den Tangoko Nationalpark zu erkunden. Zudem gibt es einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Strand. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen,absolut empfehlenswert!

Mi estancia en Tangoko Sanctuary Villa ha sido realmente maravillosa. El entorno es precioso, tranquilo y especial, pero lo que hace que este lugar sea verdaderamente memorable es, sin duda, su personal. Quiero agradecer de corazón a todo el equipo por su amabilidad, atención y cercanía. Me he sentido muy bien recibido y cuidado durante toda mi estancia. Quisiera hacer una mención muy especial a la señora que trabaja en la cocina y que también ofrece masajes. Es un verdadero encanto, una persona extraordinariamente amable y cálida. Su trato me hizo sentir muy cómodo y muy bien cuidado. Además, el masaje fue una experiencia estupenda y llegó en el momento perfecto. Le estoy especialmente agradecido por su cariño, su profesionalidad y por hacerme sentir tan bien. Sin duda, personas como ella son las que hacen que un hotel pase de ser simplemente un lugar donde alojarse a convertirse en un sitio que uno recuerda con verdadero cariño. Die Lage ist wunderschön mit Blick auf die Vulkane und den Nationalpark. Wir hatten zwei Villen-Zimmer gebucht, die eine verbindende Terrasse haben. Sehr schön auch um mal auszuspannen. Die Zimmer sind zwar einfach eingerichtet aber sauber, klimatisiert und funktional. Das Essen ist gut und alles richtet sich nach den gebuchten Walks im Nationalpark. Unbedingt den Führer der Unterkunft buchen. Wenn man nur einen Walk machen kann, sollte man den Afternoon Walk machen, weil man da die Makis sieht. Morgens ist es anstrengender (weil wärmer und 2 Stunden länger), dafür hat man mehr Zeit mit den Makaken und man sieht den Hornbill Vogel.

Die Anfahrt folgt nicht Google Maps, sondern man muss auf die kleinen Schilder an der Straße achten. Sonst wird man in den Nationalpark geführt.....

Райский уголок с прекрасным сервисом, огромное внимание к деталям, все сделано с заботой и любовью. В номере все супер красиво, уютно и чисто. Питание выше всех похвал, учтут ваши предпочтения и все сделают индивидуально под вас, еще и нереально вкусно. В меню есть пиво, алкогольные коктейли. Прогулки по лесу брали вечернюю и утреннюю, очень понравились. Гид у нас был без сомнения самый крутой!

Утренняя прогулка заканчивается в 10, и в 10 заканчивается завтрак и выселение. Не совсем понятно как это совместить. Спасибо что пошли навстречу и разрешили выселиться позже, покормили, но это все равно стоило переживаний. я считаю, выселение и завтрак должны заканчиваться позже. Еще нам не понравилось что в нашем номере окна на боковой стене упирались в забор и от этого было очень темно, приходилось включать свет и закрывать все занавески, а хотелось больше дневного света, особенно учитывая что окна в номере в пол по двум стенам. К слову, у наших соседей через стену такого не было, у них окна на открытое пространство. Виллы с видом на горы показались гораздо привлекательнее, чем с видом на сад.

Very clean and well kept. Perfect location for exploring the national park. The food was all lovely and they catered for our dietary requirements perfectly. They can make cocktails at the bar which is a really fun extra touch! The staff organised two days of private birdwatching tours with local guide Mansoor, who was absolutely brilliant. The massages were very good and well priced. The pick up and drop off service was really easy and well organised. It’s a really pretty place and all the staff are super nice and friendly.

Nothing to dislike, really! You might be wanting a gym or pool or something extra in terms of facilities, but you come here for the nature and the rainforest really rather than all that.

Der Empfang und das überaus freundliche Personal. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Unterkunft und es war alles sehr schön gestaltet und eingerichtet, es gab richtig warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Wir hatten sogar tagsüber einen schlafenden Frosch im Badezimmer, das war so süß. Generell ist die Artenvielfalt hier wirklich toll, es wurde uns auch unkompliziert eine Tour in den Tangkoko Nationalpark organisiert und wir hatten einen tollen Guide, namens Fabyo der unheimlich viel wusste und erzählte und super Fotos für uns machte. Denise hat uns auch immer alle Fragen beantwortet und auch unsere Wäsche waschen lassen, sowie die Weiterfahrt organisiert. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, vor allem die Pancakes morgens waren so lecker.

Leider war es nicht möglich über die Unterkunft einen Roller zu organisieren, das müsste noch irgendwie ermöglicht werden. Viele beschweren sich über die kleinen Portionen beim Essen, uns hat es gereicht, aber man kann auch Essen nachbestellen.

Accueil chaleureux, situation au calme avec navette jusqu'à l'entrée du parc, en pleine nature dans un environnement soigné. Chambres spacieuses et impeccables. Les repas sont délicieux et joliment présentés. Nous avons apprécié les attentions des serviettes de table et de bain joliment pliées et des fleurs disposées dans notre chambre. La visite du parc est très bien organisée, Robert notre guide n'a pas ménagé ses efforts pour nous permettre de voir tous les animaux possible. Merci à tout le monde!

Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Onze Garden Villa was zeer ruim en schoon. Heel basic allemaal, maar prima. De excursies waren uitstekend georganiseerd en dankzij de geweldige gidsen hebben we alle dieren gezien die we hoopten te zien. Extra bijzonder was dat de gidsen allemaal familie van elkaar bleken te zijn, wat de ervaring nog persoonlijker maakte. Ook veel dank aan Ober voor de mangrove- en snorkelexcursie. Door het lage water was het een uitdaging om door de mangrove te varen, maar dankzij zijn doorzettingsvermogen is het toch gelukt. Een onvergetelijke ervaring! Daarnaast waren de autoritjes naar het zwarte strand en de supermarkt inbegrepen, heel erg attent!

Het eten was erg lekker en met zorg bereid. Na drie dagen merkten we wel dat er veel kip met rijst op het menu stond. Iets meer variatie in de gerechten zou het verblijf nog beter maken.

The team that works here is simply amazing. It’s a well oiled machine. Everyone is kind. The chefs are amazing. Pick here to stay - you won’t regret it. Also the area itself is definitely worth visiting.

Hele fijne plek om te verblijven als je het natural park wil ontdekken. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en transfers/tours werden heel makkelijk tot in de puntjes geregeld. Het is kleinschalig dus je hebt alle rust. Het eten was heerlijk en als je een tour hebt of net wat later aankomt zorgen ze dat je nog aan kan schuiven voor de maaltijd. Wij zaten in de garden villa, met een ruime kamer, badkamer (met bad) en buitendouche, echt een fijn verblijf.

Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa is a beautiful hotel run by an amazing family. My wife, 7 year old daughter, and I stayed here for 3 nights and have nothing but great things to say. Our villa was the top villa and had an amazing view. The room itself was very comfortable and the AC worked really well, which was a welcomed treat after trekking in Tangkoko National Park. As I mentioned above, the staff was so warm and caring. They provide free trips to the park and a couple of local beaches. We visited all three and each one was beautiful. We really enjoyed the reef at the white sand beach, and watching the sunset on the black sand beach. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone looking to visit Tangkoko stay at the Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa.

Homestay bien situé à proximité du Tangkoko National Parc. De chouettes excursions avec de bons guides peuvent être organisées. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse avec une terrasse qui offre une jolie vue sur la jungle (top of the view). La formule en pension complète est de qualité. De bons plats avec une nourriture variée. Personnel gentil et attentionné. Bonne communication. Joli environnement fleuri.

Attention, grande montée pentue pour accéder au homestay et il y a de nombreuses marches pour accéder aux chambres. Possibilité de demander à être au plus près de la réception, ce qui nous a été proposé d’ailleurs.

The staff were warm and welcoming. They easily arranged our forest visit with ace guide Mensur, who spotted far more creatures for us than other guides had found. The food was perfect in every way. Great flavour and the best seasoned omelette I've had on this trip.

Fortunately, we were in the Garden View Villa, on same level.as restaurant. Be aware there are a lot of stairs if you take a higher room. I have bad knees so this is important to me.

Set in the forest, birdsong, so beautiful. The food was great and the staff so helpful. We hadn't booked tours in advance but so pleased we were able to do so last minute. Good that meal times are relatively flexible. *eg. We were still able to have breakfast when we got back from a tour at 10:30am. Staff were really helpful when our flight changed and we had to leave earlier than expected. Rooms are huge. Amazing balcony.

Could do with a better light in our room. Be warned there's lots of steps! But if you're considering a trip to a forest you're probably ok with that.

The location, very close to Tangkoko. The guide for the tour was very knowledgeable. The room was spotless, ample, and had a big balcony. The personnel was very helpfull, in particular the receptionist and the driver.

The 90 or so steps on the stairs to get to my room from the restaurant area. They were tiring and made me think twice about leaving the room. Yet, my major issue was the slow Internet, which made it impossible to work from my room. I had to cut the trip short. I suspect that the speed will be slow in other places as well. The hotel personnel did their very best to help, but they could not do much because the internet signal was weak and beyond their control.

The accommodation is clean, comfortable and has a beautiful view of the forest! The food is homemade and very tasty. The villa is very close to the forest and I'd highly recommend the tours arranged by the villa to see black macaques and tarsiers 😍 We also tried the spa and had a wonderful traditional massage at a very convenient price! Do not hesitate to come here 🤗

Located in the midst of lush greenery and within close proximity to Tongkoko National Reserve entrance.

Among accomodations at Tangkoko this is tucked away with a beautiful garden, elevated (with an panoramic view over the forest), off the main road and, in our view, the best choice! It is a beautiful, well run hotel, with excellent food, accomodations, and all comforts. When we walked down into the village, we felt fortunate in choosing Tangkoko Sanctuary as our accomodation. They arranged our tours, and had access to the most experienced, revered guides in the park. We highly recommend.

Great stay and saw lots of wildlife on the nature tours. Denise was very helpful with arrangements. We booked the upper rooms and the view was spectacular.

All the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hotel facilities are quite well-maintained, and the rooms are extremely spacious—both the bedroom and the bathroom offer plenty of room. We also really appreciated the 24/7 continuous hot water for the shower and the powerful air conditioning that kept the room nice and cool. ​The location is very close to the entrance of the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. While it's still a bit too far to walk there, the hotel is very accommodating and will arrange a driver to drop you off right at the gate if you want to visit.

​Food: We had full-board, but portions were small and the taste wasn't really to our liking. We had to buy snacks from AlfaMart to supplement our meals. ​Room Assignment (Ground Floor): We were assigned a ground-floor room next to the restaurant and main road. It had absolutely zero privacy due to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. We had to keep the curtains closed 24/7, resulting in no view and poor natural light. It felt incredibly dark and oppressive, which severely impacted our 3-night stay. ​Check-in: We arrived early on a red-eye flight and had to wait until afternoon check-in because the hotel was full the night before (which is completely understandable, but worth noting for context)

We booked a full-board package, but the meal portions were a bit small for us, often leaving us still hungry. While we could have asked the staff for more, the food wasn't quite to our taste anyway, so we didn't eat particularly well during our stay. We actually ended up buying snacks from a nearby AlfaMart to supplement our meals. ​We arrived very early in the morning after a red-eye flight. Since the hotel was fully booked the night before, we had to wait until the afternoon check-in time after previous guests checked out. We completely understand and have no complaints about this. ​However, the main issue was our room assignment. We were given a ground-floor room right next to the restaurant and the main road. The only upside was being close to the dining area, but the huge downside was the absolute zero privacy. Because it was on the ground level with large floor-to-ceiling windows, we were forced to keep all our curtains fully closed 24/7. As a result, we had no view at all and very poor natural lighting. This made the room feel incredibly dark, depressing, and oppressive. We stayed in this room for three consecutive nights, and being in such a stifling environment made for a very unpleasant room experience.

An extremely friendly, warm, and loving family and staff run this little oasis in Tangkoko National Park. Ati and her team prepared by far the best food we had during our three-week holiday in Indonesia – absolutely outstanding! They take excellent care of vegetarians, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is always fresh. The views from the restaurant are beautiful. The room was basic but very nice: a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, amazing views, a spacious bathroom, and plenty of drinking water provided. Everyone makes you feel at home, and whatever request you have, they truly try to fulfil it. The tours they organised were fantastic – we saw all the animals we hoped for: tarsiers, macaques, bear cuscus, and hornbills. Unexpected extras included a snake, a tarantula, a kingfisher, and a flying lizard. During our stay, my wife got sick, and they took wonderful care of her with multiple fresh ginger teas every day, which helped her recover more quickly. Thank you so much!

Rundum perfekt - tolle Lage mitten in der Natur, zuvorkommendes Personal, grossartiges Essen und super Organisation von Touren und Fahrten. Die indonesische Massage war auch wunderbar. Unser Zimmer war gross, hell, sauber und das Bett super bequem. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Der einzige Verbesserungspunkt wäre eine bequeme Lounge - die Stühle auf dem Balkon waren fürs längere „Chillen“ eher etwas unbequem. Das ist aber absolut alles :)

We werden heel netjes opgehaald door een prive chauffeur. We kwamen vanuit Bunaken met de boot en hadden een prive chauffeur naar de stad. De chauffeurs hadden heel netjes samen gecommuniceerd waar wij konden overstappen op weg naar Tongkoko. De accomodatie ligt prachtig in bosrijk gebied, apen zwieren soms door de bomen. Mooie tuin die verschillende vogels aantrekt. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik had problemen met het boeken van een vlucht want mijn creditkaart werd steeds geblokkeerd. Men stond me eerst te woord, gaf tips en toen dit ook niet hielp heeft men voor mij de vlucht geboekt zodat ik bij het uitchecken deze kon betalen. Het eten is heerlijk en verrassend. Voor ons als vegetariers werd elke keer weer iets heerlijks gemaakt zonder dat we dit hoefden aan te geven. Iedereen wist wat we wel en niet konden eten. De kamer was ruim, een mooi hemelbed zitje en een lekkere veranda. In de kamer koffie en thee faciliteiten en altijd vers koud water. Douche en toilet heel netjes met verschillende zeepjes en shampoo's We hadden geen schone kleren meer die voor ons werden gewassen tegen een zeer betaalbare prijs. Vanuit de accomodatie worden verschillende tours aangeboden naar Tongkoko NP. Men geeft duidelijke informatie, zorgt voor transport heen en terug. Zo dat je weinig hoeft te wachten. De etenstijden worden aangepast op jouw terugkomst van je bezoek aan het Nationale Parc

Dat we weer weg moesten, we hadden hier nog zo graag willen blijven.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa for 4 days and it has been absolutely wonderful. There is so much we’ve loved about this place. The room was huge, well equipped and had beautiful views. The restaurant was very nice and cosy and the food served was excellent. But the best about this place is the staff who were incredibly friendly and always smiling. They for-filled all our wishes and really made our stay. We’ve felt absolutely at home. Everything is so well organized here and the communication is excellent. We can recommend this place to everyone. We would give 10 out of 5 stars if we could. An amazing place to stay.

Einfach alles. Wunderbar gelegen in einem schönen Garten. Sehr ruhig. Leckeres Essen. Gute Ausflüge. In etwa 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuss im Dörfchen mit schwarzen Sandstrand. Das Hotel würde einem auch gratis fahren.

Die hellhörigen Wände sind katastrophal, aber für eine Nacht ist es auszuhalten.

We had a lovely experience at Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa. The room was large and comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated the delicious meals offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner everything was tasty and homemade. The air conditioning in the room worked well, which made it easy to rest after hot days. The Wi-Fi was very fast in the restaurant area, perfect if you need to stay connected. The lodge is about 20 minutes on foot from the black sand beach, where we enjoyed having a drink and watching the sunset a great place to meet friendly locals along the way. We highly recommend joining the early morning forest tour: seeing the monkeys in their natural habitat was a highlight of our trip and well worth the early wake-up.

Probably one of the best tourism experiences we‘ve had for a long time. The place itself is beautifly located near the tangkoko national park and has incredible views with clean rooms and a love for details. The food is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. But the highlight is the friendly staff who helped us from the moment of booking with unending friendliness. They organised airport pickups, trips and other transports. All the tours we did, had great guides and were highlights of our travel in Sulawesi. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Everything was amazing! Beautiful room, great location in the heart of nature, cleanliness. Hotel staff were sweet and helpful. The hotel organized a tour to Tangkoko n/p. And the guide - Pak Ober was just the best. Special thanks to Ibu Ati- she cooked the best meals I tried in Sulawesi! Terima kasih banyak!

Perfect location to visit the Tangkoko national park. The staff were so friendly and helpful and arranged both of our treks. Our room was large and comfortable and I loved the shower. We had full board and the food was absolutely delicious. The treks we went on were great.

Schönes großes Zimmer, geschackvoller Eßbereich, Top-Essen, Lage nahe am Nationalpark. Wir dind sehr zufrieden.

The food was great - very fresh. We loved the tropical garden, and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The guided tour of the national park also a highlight.

La grande Chambre climatisée avec vue sur la jungle et le volcan, l’emplacement à 5 mn de l’entrée de la réserve et très au calme. Et surtout l’accueil incroyable et très professionnel de Denise. La logistique est organisée d’une main de maître, tout le personnel est adorable et fait tout pour que le séjour se déroule dans les meilleures conditions. La nourriture était délicieuse, parfumée, variée et plutôt légère (pas de friture).

Lovely small resort located in a forest-like setting on the edge of the wilderness sanctuary. Beautiful cottages set up the hillside , some with magical views of the mountains. Super clean bathrooms, peaceful veranda and excellent air conditioning. Very family friendly but very private. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The organised tours were good value and well planned.

Personnel de l’hôtel adorable!!! Hôtel à 5mn du parc. Super organisation avec les Rangers pour les excursions de soirée ou de journée. Menu unique pour tous, très bon. Les chambres sont très spacieuses.

Le personnel est au petit soin, les villas sont confortables et le restaurant propose une pension complète de qualité. Il est possible de reserver des excursions directement sur place (wildlife tour, mangrove tour...)

Rien. Nous avons ajouté une nuit supplémentaire à notre séjour 😉

Die herzliche Begrüßung, das saubere und geräumige Top-Hill-Zimmer mit wunderschöner Aussicht, die separate Toilette, das durchweg leckere Essen, der sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Service, die perfekte Organisation aller Ausflüge und Transfers sowie die einfache, bargeldlose Bezahlung per Visa-Karte am Ende des Aufenthalts. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Ranger Fabyo, der uns durch den Tangkoko-Nationalpark geführt hat – sympathisch, angenehm ruhig und kompetent. Dank ihm konnten wir alle Tiere sehen, die wir uns gewünscht hatten: Tarsier, Makaken, Tarantel, Kuskus-Bär und mehr.

Es gab keine Information, was zum Essen serviert wird – eine kleine Vorschau wäre schön gewesen.

The attentive staff, delicious meals (thank you Ati!), awesome jungle tour (thank you Fabio!) Beautiful spacious rooms, airport pick up and transfer to our next destination.

Very nice bungalow with greet view. The food was so good. We enjoyed every meal. It looks like in a nice restaurant. Ati & Linda are so nice. Like a big family.

The scent in the room is a bit too strong

Comfortable, clean and well maintained resort with excellent service. Nestled in the beautiful landscape near the Tangkoko National Park. Fantastic and perfectly organised tours to the park.
